Whats nice about these polishers is that there nice and smooth and quiet. Most battery DAs and Brushed motor plug ins will make you deaf. And if you got the patience ( and a boat load of batteries ) you could do slight paint correction.
Its actually great that you mentioned how to charge the batteries. I have been trying to figure out how since there’s no actual charger that came with it besides the ac plug
Great video! Do you think it will cope with a 1-step shine enhancing polish if done not for a customer but for myself? Not cutting - just bringing back the gloss a bit. It is a great tool for waxing which is why I want it. If it will handle a basic polish that would be a massive bonus. Thank you!
Nifty little buffer Tom. Looks like it would be great for just a wax job. To get into serious detailing, like different compounds to remove scratches and severe oxidation, I think something a bit more powerful would be better for the job. But a handy tool for a touch-up wax job.
Hi there. Just watched your video, very good. No instructions with the package, how do you attach the various pads please. I want to use mine for polishing, what pads do I use please. Regards. Terry
Milwaukee is a pro level machine this isn’t!!! The Milwaukee is a fluke in that they don’t really specialize in making detailing machines but they did a damn good job with their m18 polisher. You have to be careful as there are several different models of the Milwaukee machines, the one you want is the forced rotation Milwaukee
This is not for professionals, if you want to correct paint get a better machine, I use it just to wax car after washing, battery very hard to remove, no instructions, no information on what pad to use. I would not buy again.

That’s awesome. Glad it helped you out.

As long as the paint isn’t too oxidized it should have no problem. Just make sure you have a couple of batteries. 😀
bought one with the 2 batter pk thanks for the video
2 pack is the way to go.

Completely agree. It’s a great option for quick cleanup work. For full paint correction, I’d stick with my regular DA Machine.
just getting into detailing and i appreciate you sharing this
I have on good for putting wax on and that is about it
@littleeddie133 agreed
Cool to see this at work!
Thanks!
@@StreetersGarage You're Welcome!
Great content. For a brand new paint, what speed did you put it on? Also, how do you take the battery out?
Squeeze and pull
I used the default black pad that was on it out of the box. It scratched the heck out of my truck!!!
That sucks.
@@StreetersGarage I think he was joking. The default attached black pad? He polished his truck with the velcro.
That would have been hilarious. Nothing like some Velcro being ground into the paint
@@isohaven758 Bingo! LOL ;p
Where did you find the spare battery? I haven’t found a place to get one yet.
Running into the same issue. Might be easier to buy a second kit at this point.
@@StreetersGarage yes that’s what I’m thinking about doing. Thanks
You are certainly not doing any paint correction with that, but for polishing and throwing on some wax that will do the job
Nope. It’s a great applicator
Does it come with instructions, what to pad to use and speeds for different jobs and products?
It does not.
Can the backing plate be changed (maybe to a smaller size)?
No

They slide over the pad.
Hi, how are you? Firt my English is not. Good i am from argentina, you know change the baking plate for five pulgadas?
Not sure if it can be changed.
@@StreetersGarage thanks saludos from Tucumán argentina
Will this be effective in cutting paint? Or does that rely on the pad?
Not enough torque.
can the pads that come with the kit be re-used? throw them in the washer/dryer? thanks
Yes - Absolutley
Whats the use of the pink pad? Is it for cutting, polishing or finishing?
Sir I’m a complete noob can you break down the directions on how to do this? And will it matter on the type of car? I have a Infiniti q50
Check out the chemical guys. They’ll have a good explanation
I appreciate your your video, well done
Thanks!
What is the difference between the two orange pads?
The “hardness” of the pad.
Which pad to ise to polish the windshield?
Yellow
the velcro doesnt burn through the micofiber bonnet? Or do you put another pad on before the bonnets?
For the polishing / backer pad. There’s about 3/4” of foam material that the bonnet will sit over.
@@StreetersGarage ohh ok thanks
They actually come with 2 batteries now I think ur words got to them. Got one for Christmas
Nice!
Battery life when waxing a car? It can do the whole car suv? How bout the power torque of spin it can polish as a corded one?
Battery life would be dependent on the size of the vehicle.
how did it perform?
@@slickman5969 worked well. I was impressed
Nice, I was thinking of getting the Milwaukee da polisher but this one looks to do the job at half the cost👍🏼
I’m pretty happy with it.

How long does the battery last?
10-15 min
How long does a single battery lasts?
About 10 min.
@@StreetersGarage do you think its enough to polish whole car at once if having 2 batteries?
@davud.il7 depends on the size of the car.

Hello
Is this machine enough to solve the spider scratches? Or fine scratches. Of course using some quality compund. Thanks
For a small area it may work.
@@StreetersGarage i would by for whole car
Get the griots G9. This is not strong enough for correction work. It's simply a wax spreader.
Watt değeri kaç?
12v 2000mah 120 watts
@@StreetersGarage thankssss
why does battery looks quite identical to Makita's small battery?? Could they retrofit??
Not the same. I looked.
@@StreetersGarage oh daaang, so close - still not it .. almost a killer deal for a Maki' owner, still seems like a great deal 🤝
@generaldistrust it’s a solid little machine. I’ve used it more than I thought I would.

think you meant to say not for amateurs. a professional wouldn’t need instructions or information on which pad to use.
