The link to my pcpartpicker list is in the video description. Ryzen 9 5900x, RTX 3080, 32Gb RAM. My issue is 5 monitors plus all the background tasks (zoom virtual green screen, OBS, head tracking). Until asobo can get the multi tread performance optimized, I think I'm stuck with lowering my graphics settings. My 3080 is bored, hanging out around 70% utilization cuz my CPU is trying to do it all on one thread (40% utilization between all cores). I want to double check I have docp enabled for my RAM next (I think I do), then I want to look into CPU over clocking. Maybe I can get another 5-10% out of that main thread (that's still likely only 1-2 frames). @@skippychurch2965 It's super frustrating! I would have waited a year or two before spending the money on high end hardware! Instead, I sprung for the high end hardware last year, and it's been sitting idle, because MSFS doesn't use it. So I'm throwing money out the window at MSFS.
