I was thinking what a great idea it would be if you were to take us along to the auction and show the bidding on the tractor and spreader. I can’t believe I sat watching you clean the manure spreader while enjoying my bowl of oatmeal, yes I am truly hooked. You are my link to my past farming days with my Dad. Don’t forget to take time out to tell your Dad just how much you Love him. All to soon you will have only memories.
Eric I can imagine how much more difficult it’d have been without the rains that made such a mess everywhere but also softened all this stuff you’re cleaning off. Shows self respect to present clean things for sale and hopefully gets you a better price.
Love watching your videos! My family has a dairy farm with 2000 cattle and your very inspirational, I’m 15 and I can already run the feed truck, feed all the cows and milk. Your awesome! Keep up the good work
Great job, I think it is so cool that I can watch you do your daily job. I live on a little farm and have 50 head of limousine some black and some red, may God bless you and your family
Last night as I was going to sleep it occurred to me that Eric had a wicked-dry sense of humor. Watch his reviews of the Pic-rite manure spreader and the one showing how it works. Even down to the MTN Dew. Nice to go to sleep with a smile. Thank you Eric.
When I wash farm equipment or heavy equipment. I use a flip down face shield made for grinding, it protects your face from everything that can come back at you
Glad to see M Dew back in the picture. Funny thing how they show up. Always love your videos. In your next video let us know how much you got at the auction.
Thank you so much for these videos they get more awesome every time. I’ve been watching you since day one and you do a really amazing awesome job learned a lot.
Can't believe that I am entertained by watching someone jet wash a muck spreader. Somehow quite cathartic I think! Congrats on 100000 subs, seems I'm not the only one! Many thanks for the hard work Eric, keep it up!
I waited all the way to the end... thought maybe no Mountain Dew today....HA HA that was good... actually I figured you would find it under some of the (s-h--------) but also figure that would be to filthy. another good job, enjoy watching you do your chores and the other work around your farm. nose to the grind stone-full speed ahead
Thanks for sharing Eric. I’m new to your channel and love it. I truly appreciate your work ethic and the example you are setting for the youth of tomorrow. Love the in depth explanations (like on the pre/post dips). Stay strong brother and God bless
Working on the pto shaft while the tractor is running, bad idea. Please fix the pto cover and cut off these strings on your hodie. It is so dangerous on a farm and stuff happens so fast. Pto deaths is not a fun thing to try and think about the person finding you. I really like your videos. Take care. Farmer from Denmark.
I'm totally impressed by your work ethic young man. Your parents must be very proud of you ! You always have great video's and it reminds me of 40 years ago when we had a dairy/beef operation with 110 milking year round and a 200 herd of beef which was angus/holstein cross ! :-) Dennis
My uncle Nort, he's sawed off short, he measures 'bout four foot two. But he thinks he's a giant when you give him a piint of that good old Mountain Dew.
Sounds like the valve lash needs to be set on the 2940 having to use ether at 50 degrees but with that many hours that would only be a temporary band aid she will need an complete overhaul soon good luck at the auction with your equipment hope you can get all the cash or of it as you can.... BTW another great video Eric thanks
That setup may be a little worn out but I bet there’s someone looking for parts or wouldn’t mind resurrecting some old iron. PLUS the oil has been recently changed!
Don’t know if you’ve already done this but It’d be awesome if you made a vid on your family’s and farm’s history. 10 generations is a long time and It’d be cool to know how it started and how y’all got to where y’all are today! Great vids and keep up work!
The can of ether, the good old kick what more could you need. Good old rain soak makes cleaning considerably easier. Its looking relatively saturated there Eric. Time for a few days of sun
If you ever see a propane/gas motor heat pressure washer at a auction, pick it up. You will never want to use the one you have on equipment ever again. Thanks for the upload
You need one of those ether fixtures in the cab. that makes i a lot easier. Here in Minnesota, my old 4020, 3020, had that. as well as the newer 2440. They would start fine down to about twenty degrees, but, then you had to give them a shot of ether. Of course when it got really cold, i would plug them in and warm them up.
I read somewhere that cleaning the mud and manure off your farm equipment regularly can save you 1 to 3% per year in fuel. I drink the old MD myself, original made with real sugar.
This guy’s awesome, mad respect Erik, I too work on a dairy farm. Unfortunately I don’t own one, but my father has been a herdsman all my life, and now I am too. I only milk about 40 cows right now, but in an old tie stall. I wouldn’t trade my time with the cows, or even in the fields, for anything!. Lol not even Mountain Dew.....😜
Eric you do green well!!😂 kinda sad getting rid of something you’ve had for so long but I’m sure someone will get some good use of them . Very good video !! Thanks
When you change oil with the filter upright like that, you can take a punch and punch a hole through the top of the filter then the oil will drain through the pan rather than on the side of the tractor. 😀
Fine young man. Works hard. Keeps a sense of humor. Has a huge responsibility. And feeds our country with the rest of the farmers. Nice job.

Eric keep the videos coming thanks for taking time out of your busy day
Never thought I'd be watching a guy clean out a muck spreader at 3:30 am and find it entertaining. Well done. Carry on!
Was watching up clean manure spreader and thought u did a very thorough job of cleaning it. Ur parents I hope r very proud of u. 💖
My old man loved the ether spray. He's long gone - 1997 - so thanks for the reminder.

You definitely deserve a Dew sponsorship Eric! I love the videos and am excited to see the new tractor ya get!
Its like saying goodbye to an old friend.
What a great way to say goodbye to some hardy equipment. Cheers!

You guys have the best power washer. So satisfying to see that manure blow off.
It’s like I’m watching Cole The Corn Star! Washing tractors!
Thanks, Erick!!!
Fantastic video as always, my dude!!!
Thanks for sharing Eric. I’m new to your channel and love it. I truly appreciate your work ethic and the example you are setting for the youth of tomorrow. Love the in depth explanations (like on the pre/post dips). Stay strong brother and God bless
I was just thinking that it had been a little while since I saw a surprise “Dew”. Another great video Eric!
Phx G yes I love the dew lol
Is that his name, Eric? Had been wondering for a while now
Is he sponsored by it?
John Deere 2940 has great air conditioning during winter and hot heater during summer. 😅
I noticed you changed the oil on my birthday.
Awesome videos.

👍 Nice video Eric.
Great video Eric! Nice to see a Mountain Dew back in a video, it's been a while! Nice old Deere's, lots of hours!
My uncle Nort, he's sawed off short, he measures 'bout four foot two. But he thinks he's a giant when you give him a piint of that good old Mountain Dew.
Ha, we had a David Brown tractor on a straw chopper that always needed Easy Start to fire up. Even in mid-summer!
great video with the equipment clean buyers will know your not hiding anything
Great Dew shots at the end....
0:29 theres your problem! see the spark from the starter Terminal? Bad contact makes it crank so slow.
I'm amazed that the Dew lived thru the pressure wash! ;)
Great job on the wash.
When you started to crank the 2940 the battery cable was sparking on the starter needs tightened may help a little with start up
That setup may be a little worn out but I bet there’s someone looking for parts or wouldn’t mind resurrecting some old iron. PLUS the oil has been recently changed!
Great video Eric; I missed the surprise cans of drink. :)

Mt Dew really does need to sponsor you.
I love your green choice. LOL 😎
