I bought a bolt, which I received end of dec last year, so I’m still learning. Love love love your videos… they are so helpful. Please keep these coming.
@@loiszoch8509 That's great Lois! Do you like it so far? I am sure you are already doing it but make sure to clean your lens and mirrors often. :)) Cheers!
Sure looked good Gord, you're having a ball with that unit and doing so well. Do I see a line of products for sale in the future? How about your two old coffee mugs? My original is fine but the "Lil GP MUG" got broke a couple week ago and I do miss that one. Stay safe up there. Tell the family I said hello. Fred.
Good evening Fred! Yes, I will soon. Still working on figuring out the mugs but will keep working on them. I will say Hi to all up here. Cheers!
What was your settings for the Dark ? Please ! I Love all your videos !
Good morning and thanks Cindy! The Dark engrave settings are at the 1:25 minute mark in the video - 400mm, 50% max, 10% min, and LPI is increased to 500 - hope it helps. Have a great long weekend!
Doesn't the air assist help with the smoke residue?
Good morning - not from my very short experience however it does kind of blow it mostly to the left side of the engrave, and so far I have found it makes it worse as the air forces more of the residue from inside the engrave out onto the surface of the material. But hey, I am still learning. Have a great long weekend!
Where can you find the laser cleaner that you reference?
Good morning - I get it from Canadian Engraving Supplies ( cesco dot ca). Cheers!
what kind of laser are you using
It's a Thunder Laser BOLT, RF C02 Laser, with a 1.5" lens. Cheers!
@@LaserNUG I'm trying to find the right settings for a bamboo plaque with my 50W CO2 laser. Thank you
@@JimmieBaker-qr8gh Hopefully these settings worked ok or maybe provided a starting point? Good luck!
@@LaserNUG They did. Thank you. I also found a very knowledgeable friend who offered to come help and we figured it out together. That's always the best way.
