It's gotta be tricky to compare 4 different coffees at once, I think it's a good idea having a little notepad, to make notes as your tasting them and things you notice as your comparing amongst themselves.

Great video. How would you assume the high uniformity and cast taste difference if it was darker roast?
That is what we will be doing next.
Great to hear that Cast and High Uniformity are very similar for light roast espresso.

What type of espresso basket do you use? Do you find that certain types of baskets work better than others with SSP cast burrs?
I am using stock basket from vbm. It will matters but I think grind quality and grind size matters more.
Some precision baskets require a finer grind size and I found it's trickier to get a good flowing extraction from them. But when it works out you get a little more flavour clarity maybe. But I find I get a higher failure rate, so stock basket works better for me.
is it very easy noticeable or need taste very careful to notice when blind test MP and HU burr ?
after reading the introduction of the burr description on logom website, i was for toward to get the MP burr on df64, but was thinking is it will have huge different when grinding medium or medium dark compare to HU burr
Difference is Hugh. MP is far brighter and much cleaner as compared to HU.
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore how is MP taste on medium dark roast coffee? as brighter and cleaner is wonderful at light roast espresso, but im a bit scare when grind medium dark bean haha
Medium dark I believe itamil will suffice

😉. Sorry about that and don't judge them...they are just my customers turned friends who were joining me for the fun on tasting different burrs.

Just 2 cents of my thought,I do find one of the tester abit not truthful and objective to the experiment shown, at 9min mark he interswapped his cups and said his tasting were consistent to the taste profile and correct..
I wish there can be more consistency to help the many viewers here..

Difference is great but you will need to be able to pick up the difference. The difference is biggest for ssp mp and ssp cv.

This episode is not about personal preference as we are trying to share what we feel about the tasting notes that coming out with different burr sets. My personal favorite is the ssp cast burr.
