Water/liquid, leave in and moisturizing cream, & seal it all in with Blue Magic (or any grease of my choice, but my fave is Blue Magic). Very informative video. Tfs.
I have thick, high porosity, 3c/4a hair. I’ve found the LCO method to work better for me. But it’s been a while so I like your idea of testing each half of my hair. It’s a good way to make sure it’s still the better method for me. I have learned so much from you. Thank you!
So I wash my hair once a week now and that has helped with the dryness in my hair. I always prepoo, shampoo, deep condition and then blow dry my hair. For styling I use the aphogee liquid leave-in along with my grease mixture and so far my hair has been happy with me.
@@destinyschile117lately ive been using Amla oil and at the Indian grocery store the bottle is like $7. I also will sometimes use grease but it has to be something like softee because it’s lighter and cheaper for how I am using it
I suffered a low period of depression from 2020-2022, and then had bariatric surgery at the end of 2022, and my hair was N-E-G-L-E-C-T-E-D!! I'm going for a good cut this weekend and then try the LCO/LOC test, because I don't remember what I was using before. Thanks for the info. 😊
As I am watching this video, i am reminiscing on how extra dry my daughter's hair was. Thanks to incorporating tips from this channel especially applying a little oil first before conditioner and then sealing...hair's nice and growing well. God bless you for sharing
happy women's day! i've started using the pmp method for my wash days and in between maybe 2 days after my wash, i'll go in for a refresh with a leave in liquid conditioner, lotion and sealing oil. i find that my hair and scalp are VERY dry. this along with greasing my scalp are the only things that seems to help. peppermint will help with my itchiness but i have to do this every 2 days.
I’ve tried LOC method in the past and it’s good but my hair thrives when I do the LCO method. It’s the most soft and luscious it has ever been with this one.
LOC method works best for me. Also, I use a bit less product, emulsify it in my hands and distribute over the whole head. (I do similar with shampoo in the shower). My results have really improved. I will be returning to pre poo this week (dont know why I stopped ) and I will try the ACV Conditioner mix. Love you channel, it is the most common sense, easy to follow way to care for my hair with great results (finally!). And stretching my hair at night has been a true game changer for me!. Happy Woman's Day, everybody.
Your explanations and demonstrations are always on point!! I have learned so much from watching your videos and applying the info that you share!!!! Your demeanor lights up the screen🤗🧡
I have high porosity 4a hair and LCO has worked for me for 10yrs, but i feel that deep conditioning is a MUST. What has changed the game for me and my hair is using herbal teas as my liquid instead of plain water. I use a henna tea spray + leave in + herb infused oil (castor + olive or castor + hempseed or all 3) and im good for a few weeks. when i refresh i just use liquid and oil and that works for me 😏
I do water (freshly washed), leave in, and style of choice whether mousse or gel. Then I let it air dry some and then apply oil and let it continue to dry for another day. I don't touch it until the week is over to wash again.
Hi sis! Great video as always…thank you so much for sharing this with us. Appreciate you much 🫶🏾. The PMP is only for my wash days and it works so well for me. However…..I have found that if I use water to remoisterize my hair and follow the LCO method, I get sooooooo many SSK. I just trimmed like 3 inches off my ends because of this, which set me back. I wear my hair in cornrows in the front and mini braids in the back and I keep it in a high bun…..mid bun now because it no longer fits in a high nor low bun after trimming. After experimenting and learning what works for me, I found water or liquid to be the problem for me. Now, my LCO is leave in ( mixed with honey), I use the Nature’s Protein coconut oil restore gelee as my cream, which I LOVE and oil last. I’m currently testing this but thinking back to when I never sprayed my hair, I NEVER dealt with SSK like this before so…. I’m just trying to figure it out, but I think it’s the water🙄😤😭🤷🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Definitely liquid moisturizers or light weight creams! Definitely get my product cheat sheet for my updated product recommendations, the link is in my bio. ☺️
I enjoy watching your videos. They are very informative. However, I always get confused. Is a leave in conditioner considered the "C"(cream)?? And if it is, where does twisting cream/butter fit in- as another cream or does it take the oil's place as a sealer?? Do you still need to use oil after applying the twisting creams or butter?? And what about gel?? Should oil be applied before or after using a gel?? I know this sounds confusing so I do apologize. Just wanted to see if you could clarify. I would greatly appreciate it if you could. Thanks!!
Live by Leave-in, oil, cream. My hair is Thirrrrrrsty and can take a lot of product without buildup issues so I later in moisture and usually wear mini twists for 2 weeks at a time about 85% of the year so if I choose to straighten or get braids or a headband wig, my hair is in good shape.
Is it true that aloe Vera juice closes the cuticles? After I add my leave in and grease would it be a good idea to close the cuticles with aloe Vera juice?
I'm sorry if this is a dumb question so the lco method is basically the liquid part is just washing your hair with shampoo and conditioner then the cream part is putting some type of cream in it then the o part is putting some type of oil in it right?
Ever since I found your channel and started doing PMP and getting back to my beloved Blue Magic… MY HAIR WON’T STOP GROWING!!! So grateful for you, girl! Thank you ❤ Also, want to ask is grape seed oil a penetrative oil?
Hello thanks you for this vidéo !! I have a question pleaz, a cream or leave-in already contains water, oil so why do all these steps instead of just applying the cream or leave-in ? Thank you 😊
What order do you suggest applying your hair products? For instance, with the LCO method, along with styling product and/or gel. Would you recommend completing the LCO method, then add you styling products on top? Or, incorporate the styling products before sealing everything off with an oil or butter?
My question is about. Deep hair products that have touched sulfate and potential include continued in them . Because my daughter then had brains surgery. Starting this year it will for years since she the had it. And just don't know what to do.
OLG is the only thing that works for my hair. Immediately after rinsing out conditioner I add melanin HC oil, miche leave-in, then miche gel. My HP hair stays moisturized for a week. I tried the other methods but they didn’t work well for me 🤔
Hii, during wash day definitely PMP! But when i re twist my hair after having it in for 2-3 days..before retwisting i do LCO method. If that makes sense 😅
I guess I'm an L O girl. I do the pmp on wash day, but my wash day is every three weeks. Because of this, I had to drop the c because the build-up was too great. Also, my hair is pretty thin or fine to begin with.
I cut my hair because I was going to wear an afro. I figures wearing an afro would work better for me because I sweat a lot. Now! I don't want to touch my hair and wished. I did't cut my hair.SMH 😥😢😭Plus my hair is thick and I have carpal tunnel in hand.😩😫
I have a question: how can you tell if you have a short growth cycle or your hair breaks the same right as it's growth? Overall, how can you tell how long your hair growth cycle is? (I'm slowly coming to the scary conclusion that mine is short)

Water,leave in conditioner, oil.
Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome!
Yes, this is the best method
Thanks for liking, my ceiling Oil is castor oil used to hate it until I learned how to use it.
Water/liquid, leave in and moisturizing cream, & seal it all in with Blue Magic (or any grease of my choice, but my fave is Blue Magic). Very informative video. Tfs.
Love this method! And thank you!
Omg Yes love blue magic and so does my dog can't leave it in the house cause she go searching for it. 😂
Not your dog searching for it lol. Do you grease her scalp too?@@viciousonev4697

I'm an LCO natural, it took me a couple of years to figure it out. But, I got it.
LCO cause to me it just always made sense. Water a moisturizer and a grease hair loves it

I have very thin wavy hair, and I wanted to know what recommendations you would have for me?
Definitely liquid moisturizers or light weight creams! Definitely get my product cheat sheet for my updated product recommendations, the link is in my bio. ☺️
Thanks for your tutorials. They are needed.
You are welcome! :-)
I use the PMP method on wash days and have just begun trying the LOC method in between wash days. I have high porosity hair.
I like your hair!! Share the deets please
LCO for me but I use grease instead of regular oils
Is safflower a better sealant than Grapeseed
You are a God send for us sista's with unprossed hair 💝 thanks Sis!

Liquid leave-in conditioner or refresher spray and gel.

What is the best way to keep hair moisturized when in protective styles like braids or kinky Twist

How
often, I have to wash my hair thank you
I would start with once a week or once every two weeks to see what your hair prefers.
Informative video as usual, thank you. I use the LCO method.
LCO works great on me. Great video😊
I started with pmp recently. Will give feedback on how my hair likes it after a month or two but
Love this, thank you. I want to try adding gel at the end for hold. Does the oil go underneath the gel? TY
I’m high porosity with fine strands and medium density. I use the LCO method.
PLOC (mix between PMP and LOC. Pre-poo, lotion, oil, butter and wax).
I'm sorry if this is a dumb question so the lco method is basically the liquid part is just washing your hair with shampoo and conditioner then the cream part is putting some type of cream in it then the o part is putting some type of oil in it right?

Hi Tonya is it possible to give ur viewers ways on caring for natural hair in winter time as winter is approaching in some countries...thanks
I have followed you for while.. can you please speak to loc washing, moisturization, should we use conditioner etc.

Does a shea hair butter count as cream base ?
Is avocado oil good for lco method on mixed colored hair ( black, red, gray)?
I have a question: how can I make my Thin Hair Strands go from weak to stronger strands or make my thin hair strands go from thin to thick strands?
I wonder if there are moisturizer without water. My high porosity hair doesn’t care for water like that.
❤ HI there just received my EBooks!!! Let's start working on this head of mines😅❤
Can I use a cream that has penetrating oils as a pre poo?
Hii, during wash day definitely PMP! But when i re twist my hair after having it in for 2-3 days..before retwisting i do LCO method. If that makes sense 😅
That PMP method works, every time
🥰🥰🥰
Is a leave in considered a cream?
And can I apply it directly to my scalp when my hair is in braids ( my scalp gets itchy)
My question about sealing with oil is how does the moisture enter when I have to re-moisturize mid week?
I prefer LCO method on my 4c hair...
What are examples for some good creams for low porosity hair?
I guess I'm an L O girl. I do the pmp on wash day, but my wash day is every three weeks. Because of this, I had to drop the c because the build-up was too great. Also, my hair is pretty thin or fine to begin with.
