    Lovely Wisteria Roger. Always been too afraid to prune. My Wisteria is 3 years old and has some wippy stems/branches with no buds. Do I cut those off please? By the way, Wisteria grown from seed will grow but do not produce flowers until 12-15 years.

      Hi Vanessa, thanks for getting in touch, if those wippy stems are more than a foot long then yes I would cut them back to just 2 or 3 buds this time of year in summer you can cut the green wippy stems to about 5 or 6 buds - of that makes sense?
