The Roaring Mountains - Go Wild

- Nowhere in the Alpine mountains are water, forest and rocks as precipitous, rock faces as vertical as in the Gesäuse National Park, Europe’s largest canyon. “Gesäuse” is a name derived from the rushing noise of the water, the soughing wind that echoes up to the peaks of the north faces of this unique region - home to the myth of the mountain. When the sun rises and ushers in a magnificent day, the Gesäuse projects a perfect image of a mountain. However, in bad weather, the Gesäuse’s walls reflect a scary phenomenon as the speed of the inflowing airmass multiplies. Adverse weather conditions can thus convert the Gesäuse into inferno. Michael Schlamberger, Austria’s most renowned nature filmmaker internationally, listened to the rushing whitewater of the river Enns and conquered the sheer rock walls, chasing eagles and chamois in passing.

Yes, I agree with you. Very professional and amazing videos;
I actually like these documentarys better than National Geographic!
Such wondrous beauty. I'm so thankful for this series and the uploads. Each installment has brought tears to my eyes. I bless the endeavors of the researcher, may he find beauty and fulfill his passions seeking out those untrodden, unspoiled places of ancient forests. But I hope he maintains their secrecy. It is a comfort to know such places still are.
Pls

I specifically love these videos. Late last century my family emigrated from these mountains to the desert country Australia. Your videos are so good at showing and explaining how it would feel to be up there on the mountains in the sky. Thank you for showing me this incredible world.
Australia is amazing too. I have been there for long periods and traveled to many places south and north. Marvellous Tasmania, Northern Territory etc…

Amazing move
Those lynx are adorable
Give me that breathy, rp, Oxford-English, properly British-accented narrator every time. He could be narrating how to poop in the potty and I'd be enthralled.
I couldn’t agree more!
Not if you are Englander. Though this guy is special he has great tone to his voice, he knows how to speak properly.
Trovo stupenda tutta la parte dove non si vedono esseri (dis)umani!!
Great story. It shows how it was religious/Christian men who did the thinking and understanding about this area. very excellent work too. if those countries had copied them they would all of advanced and not stay backward and cause trouble.
And stil,l the Vatican did not aprove of the Copernican World View until mid 1990s....
The Vatican did not also admit that JESUS was the lone way to salvation until the 90's, meaning for most of their history they weren't even really Christians. Many of their members were, but many of their officials were not and some of their official theological positions are still atrocious. So using the catholic church to dismiss all Christians is not a good strategy. There isn't many good inventions that the field of evolution has given to the world, in fact it is holding back science. Which is why it's only recently they open dino bones to find tissues in them now.
If anyone doesn't believe me read the news for yourself- I remember seeing it on the television way back then, but kids these days probably don't know this even happened, it's hard to dig information on this online already! Isn't that crazy? Get out of the catholic church and trust in Jesus instead! They have lots of bad theology like priests not being allowed to marry cause they don't know how to read the bible correctly.

Beautiful...
Awesome. !
The Best
Never use a Red-tailed Hawk call on a clip featuring a Golden Eagle. It makes all of the information suspect as fabricated.
Time stolen in a charming way...
33:08 Is a peak with enormous vertical cracks, I kept coming back it, it made me aware that even mighty mountains are mortal.

thankyou
Thank Jesus God.......... Rajesh
i wish there were captions. im hard of hearing
How does climbing to the top of a mountain equal "conquering" it? If a bug climbs to the roof of my house, has it conquered my house?
Baruch Ben-David omg I know. It’s so annoying.
Has the bug planted a flag? XD It's a white man thing from colonial times, when they suddenly and unilaterally decided that planting a flag, stake or simply arriving on any piece of land not owned by other white men made it theirs. Didn't happen before that in any native or local populations, even in Europe. Also triggered the development of racist ideologies to justify it all. So yeah, it's suspicious behavior at best.
Nice to havi
havi navi?
Nice to havi what anyways?
And your username makes zero sense.
That howling sounds awful, and just when you think it's finally over, it starts up again.
What is the churchy voice music name the 1:57 plays
Austria the country with that alpine coaster where that guy rammed that girl for going to slow.
Everytime I think of Austria I now think about Arnold and the girl with the broken back unfortunately..

all this doesn't exist anymore or then still very little ! all because of us the human species
It's a pity that man is so arrogantly blind that he doesn't know what he has until it's gone. Thankfully some areas and animals are protected from man.
x
Narrator, beautiful read, but you no more climbed it than I did, kudos to word framer...lol
And then they say there is no god
