    I think with the new age of one motion shooting it should be called shot line or path. JP always grinding 🔥🔥🔥

    • @JezPhipps
      @JezPhipps  6 років тому

      Josiah Henry the shot line/path is the path the ball takes before it is released so like lonzo shot path would be from the left side of his body to the middle! Just an example but thanks bro🔥🤟🏽

    Tbh when u hear "set point" it as if u SIT the ball by your eyes or where ever u release causin a hitch or pause⏸ in yo shot so really I think of it as a RELEASE point it makes shooting so much easier when I think of it that way simpleeeeee🙌👌💯💥

    one motion shooters tend to be guards because the need more power and they are much more shorter than the rim and two motion shooters tend to be post or stronger players because they are more even with the rim height wise so their arc tends to be flatter

    How do I fix a major elbow flare.

    • @JezPhipps
      @JezPhipps  6 років тому +3

      Lil Tay the first thing you can do is stop flexing so hard. Lmaoo jk but
      You can fix an elbow flare by tilting your feet abit and holding the ball correctly by keeping your hand under the ball!

    The part JUST BEFORE where one motion shooters start to use their wrist to push the ball is their set point, it is just very quick and fluid but not nonexistent.

    I can’t tell if I have a set point or a release point

    • @JezPhipps
      @JezPhipps  6 років тому

      AnonymousPotatoGuy one way to find out is recording yourself on your phone! And then look back. You should know tho right off the bat. If you have a two motion shot and you pause before you shoot then you have a set point. If you don’t pause and you shoot in one motion then you’ll have a release point

    • @ccgoon9434
      @ccgoon9434 6 років тому +1

      JP Productions I shoot in front of my face but it’s a little slow because I’ve been fixing my form. It looks good (I think), but it’s pretty inconsistent for now. I think it’s slow because of my legs. I think I dip too much or bend my legs a lot and it makes it seem like I have a pause.

    • @Javannie
      @Javannie 6 років тому +1

      Like the way my form is that I stay on my toes then I dip the ball 2 my waist then I shoot the ball and follow it with my eyes and I barely jump but my misses are bricks 50 % of the time.Then like 50% of the time I make it ( I practice on a double rim outside and I have a 1 motion shot ) but yea BRUH 😅
