Because there is no switch so the train at queenstown shuttle train stops at both platform a and b while the normal train to Redhill amd onwards goes on platform b they have to do this due to the lack of switch so they have to run on one track both directions so there will be two trains on two different tracks but never cross over

Yea trains can run on AM in both directions. 129/130 was on AM.
