Wait you need to learn how to fight with and without rhythm? For the rhythm part, what if you never had any rhythm of any type? Like is there a video or some guide I could go to on how to get rhythm first and then how to maintain it for as long as I want? Like I have no understanding of what rhythm is in music, I'm not musically literate, not a dancer either, and I'm no musician so you can imagine how lost confused I am in trying to figure out what rhythm is in boxing and other stuff. I haven't boxed before either but I want to be able to get and maintain rhythm overall in so many things so that once I do try boxing, I won't be so lost. And oh dear what more when it comes to learnign how to fight WITHOUT rhythm this time?
Spot on coach! Ignore the trolls leaving negative comments bro, they’re a waste of your mental energy...I’ve been following your page for a while and it’s one of my favs (up there with precision striking, coach Anthony, and tony Jeffries).
Depends on what you’re talking about. Any beginner that hears “bouncing is bad” will not understand unless you explain in detail the entire Russian style of boxing revolves on this bounce or pendulum step
@@TK-fc8rh dude its very effective but truthfully you do need good conditioning but tbh with you it throws a lot of orthodox style american fighters off because they're so used to the more flat footed style. I hate how the americans continue to push this "Bouncing is bad" narrative when the entire eastern european style is based off bouncing and very effective. I would say there is no right or wrong and to do whats best for you. I just hate when coaches act like one is right and the other is wrong. It's simply a different style of fighting and if it works, its not wrong.
Hey coach I hope you reply to this Message. I haven't been in a boxing gym ever never sparred with anyone. I train at home all I got is a heavybag which is 20 pounds. I train by watching UA-cam videos is it possible to train this way for a boxing fight..
It’s good you’re working before you go to the gym, but now you need to go to the gym. Other people need to tell you what you’re doing wrong. You already doing your homework now you gotta go to school and do both. You’ll be good man!
no, you need to spar. Sparring helps you with improving on absorbing shots. The first few weeks/months you get hit itll not feel good. Also, it helps you with improving your timing and spatial awareness. When to do what. It's arguably the most important aspect of fighting.
Wait you need to learn how to fight with and without rhythm? If yes, since bouncing is bad, when is it time for a beginner to learn bouncing and rhythm? Like how long until the beginner knows they're ready? For the rhythm part, what if you never had any rhythm of any type? Like is there a video or some guide I could go to on how to get rhythm first and then how to maintain it for as long as I want? Start doing tiktoks to attract people here. You can make your "preview" videos there and upload the full lenght here. With tiktok you gonna have more views and interaction. UA-cam and Instagram are almost dead with little to no possibility for organic growth.
Such a misleading title. Ofc it's bad for beginners as they do not bounce, they think they bouncing but their just doing bullshit. Proper bouncing is insane. Look at pacquiao. I'm orthodox fighter bouncing around, circling right and left switching stances all that shit is good 👋.
Thank you. The greatest fighters of all time have tended to have that bouncy, elusive, quick style. But most importantly id say you need both. There are times when you need to bounce and times you need to sit in pocket and absorb shots. Anyone who says bouncing is bad is just simply not a student of the game.
Being able to box with and without rhythm is key
💯
Breaking rhythms is the name of the game 🙌

Thanks man! I agree but they do give me a laugh! And all the guys you mentioned are a-1.

I agree. What do you think of the Russian boxing style? Is it effective and fundamental compared to the other styles?

Evander Holyfield bounced a lot.
Its really hard for me to stand still because i get very excited in sparring. But i will try.
Gotta be able to switch it up.
Thanks for sharing this 🙏🏼🙏🏼🥊🥊
Thank you for watching!
I only bounce when I wanna show off or something lol
Omm🤣💯
I'm bouncing for reset balance
Pendulum step is a default setting for Russian boxers
