- The discovery of the remains of an ancient settlement on Chiron IV leads an Away Team into danger. Meanwhile, Commander Navar must decide where his loyalty truly lies.
"Transitions and Lamentations" is Star Trek Intrepid's 4th release. However, events follow one week after "Heavy Lies the Crown" and before "Where There's a Sea" and "Turning Point".
Released 1st May 2009. Running Time 29 Minutes.
I enjoyed this. As an American I was a little surprised at the accents, having found this through a thumb. But I still enjoyed it a lot. I was 5 when ST:TOS first aired and I watched a few episodes before Mom shut me down, but have watched all the Movies and Series since then. I am an OG Trekker. And I think it's fitting to see the Legacy of Star Trek carried on by generations of fans. And doing a better job of it than the big film studios over the last decade or so. And something I have noticed with fan films is how much their hearts are in it. So...Bravo! Well done and Boldly Go!
A Scott, Gordon Highlander / Klingon mix takes " kick-ass" to a higher level !
The opening credit sequence is fantastic, in the true sense of the word. The action is first-class. The accents took me a little time to get used to, but they're growing on me. I've watched it three times in the last two days. I'd really like to see more.
This is one of the fan series with better acting than most...
A Romulan with a Scottish accent. "Och aye, laddie, the Tal Shiar will ha' their wee way wi' ye, and it'll be away wiyadoonthebraethenoo!"
Really Well Donw visuals and a good story for a fan Flick! Long Live Scotland!
I love the Oberth class ship and the VFX of it are excellent! I really enjoyed the different views and high quality of the visuals for this ship.
It's my favourite Starship, too bad it didn't last long and Star Trek 3. Quite a unique, fresh design for Starfleet after decades of mere kitbashes!
Great work all around. I've enjoyed your other videos very much and think you guys have done a phenomenal job on this series!
I surely hope that we never completely lose the fascination with the unknown that inspired Roddenberry to begin the Star Trek saga. Sadly, it has been nearly drowned out by too much reality television, crime drama and supernatural nonsense in recent years.
and cbs` baloney
Wow, well acted, solid script and great editing! Thanks for posting. Keep up the great work!
I love fan made productions. They show a lot of passion for the IP. Great work!
Gawd, I love these fan films. Where else would you have a Klingon with a heavy Scottish accent? I keep looking for a Jamaican fan film. I will blame it on the English instructor at the academy.
Loving attention to detail on the ships, and especially the opening credits
Beautiful special effects. My compliments. TY for the video.
Good effects, solid crew! This is why I'm looking at more of the fan films, it has what CBS and Paramount have lost.
Just love the security and privacy screen the second it went on the barista puts a eavesdropping device to his ear .
That's almost as good as the " Cone of Silence " in " Get Smart " (tos)60's .
Thanks for watching. And good catch, I thought it was a cute gag myself. Always liked Get Smart. :)
Wow. Impressively done! Thanks for creating and sharing.
@9:18- "The big chair" look. Perfectly done. :)
Still trying to comprehend Section 31's interest in this sector
I knew Navar was Section 31! I KNEW IT!
Nice space battles! the graphics look really good.
I luvv the Father-Son right vs wrong side ... at the crossroads ...great story development potential...
Thank you, glad you enjoyed that. This is quite an old film but I plan to revisit at least one of those characters in the future.
I just wanted you guys to know that after watching a few of your videos, I’m subscribing. As an American I kind of have to tilt my ears to get the accents just right but I’ve also been a Whovian for forty years so it’s not that hard.
I’ve been a Trekker since TOS first aired. It’s sad that the big studios have strayed so far but it’s heartening that fans are not.
Keep on Trekkin’!
Thanks Mark, really appreciate that. And thanks for the kind words. Fanfilms are kind of a niche within a niche, but for those of us who love them they’re the best hobby. Always a joy to hear that someone has enjoyed what we’re doing. More to come from us later this year too. :)
Outstanding job! Really enjoyed it, thanks.
That was really enjoyable! Guess I'm a bit late to the party but it had a classic Trek vibe!
Aww thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah this is an old one for sure. Would like to think we’ve gotten a bit more polished since then, but the audience would be a better judge than me. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. :)
6:18 "We both wear the same uniform" Uh, sir, not QUITE...
very very good guys an gals , one of the if not best ive seen , an realistically there. thanks to all for your hard work , i so enjoyed this , glad i found this channel an ima subscribe right now
Good episode. You had decent scriptwriters.
This has the best intro theme and visuals of any fan film I have seen so far. I can't help comparing it to Voyager since the ships are the same and it is much better in my opinion.
I like the way Navar's character has been hovering over the good guy/bad guy ledger . . .
More to come on that next year. :)
I got so tired of tame Vulcans who never use insults. A logical but emotional Romulan is refreshing.
Glad you liked him! Thanks for watching and for commenting. :)
good special effects, I do not understand the need for people to belittle people work.. IS it as good as the movies, NO but neither do they have the money and experience people to make a show like this.. Enjoyed it good work and keep it up
Wow, it seems that all the characters, even the Klingon, sounds like they hail from Edinborough or they all just developed Scottish accents on board the Intrepid.
That was brilliant.
I really enjoyed it.
I hope there are a lot of these.
Another great story, sorry I didn't see it sooner, well done folks
woooa, excellent opening title and OST. I like it more than Voyager!
Hello from 5 years in the future!
Agreed I always wondered why everyone in the universe had a Seppo accent.
good episode!
that was a very well made and very good show I would love to see more
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. :)
The universal translator heard 'Scottish' and gave up!
A Scottish Romulan, amazing!
Lots of planets have a Scotland. ;)
@@StarShipIntrepid exquisite raw natural beauty 💞
I love the very specific tattoo on an English man. lol.
aside from the odd make up choices this is a very high end fan production. thank you for taking the time to produce this for your fellow fans.
Nice!
loved it
Nice acting... dad
Sorry. Scootts in spaaace. Also a scott as a Klingon, perfect match.
allan gill You've stumbled upon the Scottish fan version of Star Trek. ;)
+allan gill James Doohan would love this show
It is so well done!
A good story.
Hoot man.......that was very well done but i have a question.
Can the mess hall replicate a proper haggis?
+Bill23799 No, because the Haggis has to be in the fire in order to be properly cooked!
How do I know? SCOTTY told me so!
haha thanks
he be dead. rue ubarnas will take the role, in the new star trek series'. the new series' start's, next year.
Klingon with that earth accent though..
It's a Universal Translator thing.
@@mariakelly1059 ah midnight reminder when I was wondering what to do..
Watch star trek stupid! Lol thanks!
Meanwhile on my channel I make organic portals soulless spiritless Humans videos
Alain, it was so cool to see you acting here!! Qaplá'!
And we miss him!
@@StarShipIntrepid he is “my Captain” here in Star Trek klingon-based fan-club. We have lots of fun!
Of that I have no doubt. Tell him we said hi. :)
@@StarShipIntrepid I just told him, I am with him in the car on a “mission”!
@@StarShipIntrepid Hi back!!! :)
As a fan of STAR TREK this is top shelf.
Russell Tuckett, esquire.

Gian's Tech hello from 6 years in the future!
omg thanks
Pretty sure that Ops officer’s hair isn’t regulations. Lol
I loved the story well written and played who are these aliens 👽🤔??
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. :)
Star Trek with a Scottish accent; awesome. Any chance of a Welsh version?
defenceable position lol.
Will admiral shelby be making an appearance
Good but can you put an episode order up please
LOL Cone of silence never works!
Indeed. LOL.
Pooommms in spaaace.lol.
I've not seen many of these productions.
Why is Ops where tactical should be?
Granted LCARS allows you to change panel configuration.
Maybe it's limited to green screen setup and a single camera or two.
Because it’s not Voyager, and we went with a different layout. :)
I find it hard to understand them due to the accents! However, this ties into the wonderful Hidden Frontier series. One thing I do NOT like is that chip on the shoulder the whole crew seems to have, they all act like ornery Scots or Irish people, sniping at each other all the time. It is nothing like the more Trek-like Hidden Frontier.
Not all crews are the same. Intrepid’s crew aren’t really “ornery” they just like ragging in each other. Well, except for S’Ceris, he’s a bit of a grump. ;)
For what it’s worth, these early films are the crew coming together and building rapport. That rapport becomes much more obvious over time.
lol today is a good day rock nick n company
Who was the female pilot?
Klingons with British accents kinda immediately emasculates the species! 😆Do they drink blood tea instead of blood wine?
Alain is actually from Belgium. ;)
Quiet! Don't give them any ideas!
Just curious, were that many Quantum Torpedoes really needed to destroy one unshielded Federation Starship?
to dark
ah ga a load o goch and it's still sqwirmin'. I guess if you're a Klingon on a Scottish ship you pick up the accent.
LOL. The funny thing is, he’s actually Belgian. :)
The universal translator on that ship is set for Scottish accent.
Enjoyable episode, questionable black ops, decisions for political manipulation of the populace. Reminds me of 2020/21. Alas how times do not change. Once again a 'timely' drama. Good stories don't age.
Please leave current U.S. politics out of this. Thank you for your consideration.
How did Star Trek get to be nothing more than one battle scene after another? Is that all you guys can come up with? What happened to the great episodes from TOS where the Enterprise explored the unknown?
This stuff is Star Trek meets Fast and Furious.
Marc Parella Seriously?
JEELEN1 Yea, seriously.
Marc Parella
Do you know what a rhetorical question is? ;)
+Marc Parella In other words you want the show to be boring.
+Marc Parella I concur with your logic Mr. Parella. Star Trek is NOT about combat, at least the original version. It was about exploration and peace, more often employing diplomacy than offense. Episodes of combat are easy to produce, require less thought. Story driven plots of intellectual nature are much harder to create and don't depend on explosions. Even when TOS used combat, it was limited and killing was less. It's about humanity and finding common ground with other species, not disparity and aggression.
The acting is awful! What's up with the British, Irish and Scots accents? The music is decent, but the is nothing else to recommend this show.
You really should have read a little about this before being so judgmental - The show is fan made and was produced in the UK. All of the work is done by fans, for fans. Even though the actors are not professional, they are passionate about Star Trek and what it represents. All of this takes a lot of time and work, and they have done it for no money, out of their own pockets. Be appreciative of the effort at least, and if you don't like it, just don't watch it.
Asshat
