I made my peace w weed like I did w alcohol, I’ll have it when I have it, but went cold turkey. I had to be realistic, and leave the door open for the maybe once in a blue moon, if ever. It took around 1 week for my appetite to come back w a vengeance. Insomnia got better around week 2, weird dreams and very irritable still but not close to the rage I had the first 4 days. I fasted for 3 days at the start, drank lots and lots of water. Got into doing projects around the house till I was beyond fatigued. I did a lot. Lost 5lbs. Anyway, week 3, and it’s gotten better, I’m not as angry and even though I’ve had the chance to relapse I’ve refused to, I plow right through sleepless days. Meh, I won’t die. Once you’re “sober” it’s easier to stay off it and make better decisions. I smoked pre rolls, maybe 6 grams a moth, no alcohol, no pills, nothing else, and it’s been a rough ride. People are a lot stronger and resilient than we give ourselves credit for. It can be done, peeps. Things are better off in moderation anyway. Good luck, sorry for the long rant.

I smoke a lot of weed and today is the first day I haven't smoked. I did try to do it a bit easy, by yesterday only taking two hits, and two hits the day before instead of smoking all day like usual. This is not easy! My body is already sweating, my hands are clammy, and I would not be a fun person to be around right now. My problem is the depression gets so bad (history of anxiety and depression) that I'm scared as hell of the next few days. It's such a shame that our government is promoting this drug for their own profit. People convince themselves by saying, "it's just weed, what's the big deal, people don't do crazy stuff on weed" but the reality is it is an extremely addictive, mind altering drug that is killing us! It's killing our breathing, killing motivation in people, clogging arteries, and now millions are driving around stoned out. People say, "I drive perfect when I'm high" and that's fine for you, but what about the 18 year old kid who has no real experience driving and now he's behind the wheel stoned out. A drug is a drug is a drug, and this shit is killing me!
@@mailfraudvoter6620 Today is now day 13 and I feel great, except for the fact I am losing my job and residence tomorrow because of divorce, but I refuse to smoke!

Today is day 6. I have had some insomnia. My appetite decreased. The worst part has been the emotional rollercoaster. Either rage or sadness. I hope today is better. Garlic pills helped me sleep but I had to take about 3000mg. I smoke for about 18 years so I expect it to take a little longer.
Day 1 , I’ve been a daily smoker for 6 years . I’ve quit for a month at a time on multiple occasions but it never seemed to stick . Hopefully I can get to 3 months or much longer . Great video !
This is great advice, totally agree. Pretty much any overstimulating dopamine activity like watching dirty material for example can cause urges and cravings to comeback. It becomes a balance of maintaining normal levels of dopamine and not any easy access, quick stimulation which just holds us back in reality like smoking.
I used to smoke flower like average an eighth to almost a quarter a day sometimes. I have been tapering off by halving my daily intake each day and currently down to one J today. This was my last one and I plan to quit cold turkey from here. I will be taking CBD oil/elixir during this time to alleviate withdrawal symptoms. I have a THC vape pen and will allow myself to use it for the first week just incase I get too crazy or emotionally unstable. I plan to hold out on using the vape pen for as long as I can possibly manage and wont use it unless I really really have to. Seven days from today, whether I have used the vape pen or not, I will completely eliminate the vape from the equation and only consume CBD oil/elixir. From there I should be good to completely quit. (I might continue taking CBD here and there for its health benefits. However, no more THC and getting high for me.)
The whole idea of quitting is to quit. Their is no middle ground. You have to let your body experience the pain. Be one with it and not struggle with it.
comment section is full of weaklings who have no control of their emotions or life seriously guys take control of your life is that all it takes for you to breakdown ? stopping smoking something that grows in the ground? i smoked 7 to 14 g a day for 15 years and dropped it in 1 day no cravings no pains no withdrawls its all a mindset you realy dont want to quit thats why its hard but the day you take control of your life and decide to be a better human being in the morning you will never look back

Quitting everything tonight
You can do it! I’m on day 5 no weed, we got this
Me2
I'm on day three I feel like shit my head is hurting and I have a lot of anxiety
I feel you bro.
Great stuff, keep it up
great video, thank you
i e been smokin for 6 months 3 times a day n im on day 5 wit no withdrawal symptoms
6 months smoking, 3 times a day that's not enough to get bad withdrawals. Try smoking for ten years, every hour 3-4 hits it's a different story.
@@BetterYouNow trying to make sure tht doesnt happen
Everything you said is spot on. Gym and healthy eating made it a lot easier to get past the withdrawals.
Thank you again for the double comments on both videos. It would be awesome to see the channel grow and think we were here at the beginning. The gym is key, actually just did a detailed talk on how important it is to lift heavy weight for tomorrow :)
I am on day 3 I am 38 large male and I am having problems eating from nausia. I have IBS. I have also been suffering headache behind my right eye all day today. I have thought about using CBD but I am stopping smoking drinking and cigarettes all at same time because I am trying to save more money and trust god. This is not easy. I am suffering from random crying on day 2. I feel okay but cant get comfortable. I might have to use CBD oil so I dont smoke again. I dont want to go back... I want to have more confidence and not feel like a loser anymore. I forgot to mention I have been experiencing cold chills and diareah so I have zero sugar power aid and vitamin water.
just believe in yourself you can do it it's gonna be hard quitting everything but you'll eventually get there I hope your still trying to quit since a seen this comment a month after
Day 13 and my brain feels like shit I can hardly make it to the store. I'm pushing threw but I'm scared.
Keep it up
I had super crazy dreams
@@mailfraudvoter6620 Today is now day 13 and I feel great, except for the fact I am losing my job and residence tomorrow because of divorce, but I refuse to smoke!
It’s definitely not killing anybody…. Tf
@@gildariverawhen you have a friend who gets sectioned from a cannabis induced psychosis episode - get back to me. Nobody here is saying weed is evil, but acting as if it is a drug that can do no harm is just ignorant.
You’ve relapsed 5 times? You are either a legend or God. I’m currently undertaking attempt 37-45.
Thank you so much
Day 3 wooohooooo
God irritability not irrability ! Maybe I just need to smoke again
Man this is killing me lol I don’t see how u do it
Thanks Man
Day 1 , I’ve been a daily smoker for 6 years . I’ve quit for a month at a time on multiple occasions but it never seemed to stick . Hopefully I can get to 3 months or much longer . Great video !
Thank you.
Day 5 baby. Can't sleep but I have abs
I smoke a zip daily but i quit weed for half a year and i didn't experience anything, i just kinda forgot i smoked right off the bat.
I’d recommend not drink alcohol. If you have easy access to thc, as soon as you get buzzed you’ll let your guard down and any craving could break ya.
Bro just quit everything tf
@@zeldoms lol frfr
The whole idea of quitting is to quit. Their is no middle ground. You have to let your body experience the pain. Be one with it and not struggle with it.
I never thought it was addictive.
Day 8!
By the way very good ducking video.
Mines was better lol felt exactly the same n wondered why I was smoking so much.
Damn 7 no smoking. Makes me sad
This video is 4 years old.. Are you still not smoking?
Smoking rn💀💀
comment section is full of weaklings who have no control of their emotions or life seriously guys take control of your life is that all it takes for you to breakdown ? stopping smoking something that grows in the ground? i smoked 7 to 14 g a day for 15 years and dropped it in 1 day no cravings no pains no withdrawls its all a mindset you realy dont want to quit thats why its hard but the day you take control of your life and decide to be a better human being in the morning you will never look back
Good for you, we are all different 👍
day 3 was the worst for me
My first 3 days were terrible as well but I’m on day 4 and I can already tell things are getting better
does memory come back 😢😓😓😓
yes it does bro
True
He looks so high though 🥹
hey where did you get the info on extra blood going into the head?
Smoking = Vaso-constriction = less blood flow = less oxygen to the brain
So eh , i should just keep on smoking ...
I sorry but you don't need cbd try and do 4 days and trust me it's worth it day 4 you will have no cravings why are you telling this
Why do you have two black eyes?
Withdrawals lol cmon, u want withdrawal try opiate withdrawal
Just because they aren’t as severe doesn’t mean they aren’t withdrawal symptoms. Instead of belittling what others are going through try being supportive
I have no clue how people have such a hard time. I might be wrong I frequently am, however it seemed very easy to just stop. I was an everyday smoker for the past 6 years and I just stopped. I still sleep like a baby, eat 2 meals a day, and haven’t noticed much of a mood change. Today marks 1 week.
I felt the same about nicotine because it was very easy to quit for me compared to what I heard from others but weed is very hard to quit for me
Everyone’s body, chemical makeup and homeostasis is different
White people make quitting smoking weed so hard lol. It's not even that bad or hard bro.
Black people these days
Lmaooo u just stop smoking and tell urself ur not gonna smoke it’s not hard, people wanna just make excuses when they can’t do it
Edited for stupidity ☝️🤣🤣
i quit 7 months now and a really heavy toker for 32 years ,never had a craving or urge to toke again. No more anxiety ,SIMPLE
Day 1. 🫡
