I'm a veteran, was actually addicted to cigarettes and alcohol. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder, got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

I love hearing great life changing stories like this. I want to become a mycologist because honestly mushrooms are the best form of medicine (most especially the psychedelic ones) There are so many people today used magic mushrooms to ween off of SSRI medication- its amazing! Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death buddy, lets be honest here.

I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them

a chronic user from the moment I got out of bed to the moment I got into bed…was high pretty much 24/7 and when I was sober I didn’t feel “normal” when I didn’t smoke I felt ugly n got sick… but now I’m almost 2 weeks sober, I had it all, night sweats/cold sweats, insomnia, stomach problems, couldn’t really eat the first few days, light headed, headaches, vivid dream that honestly felt so real, my anxiety was through the roof I could feel my chest started to pound when I felt the need to smoke or relax 😅 I was getting mad at everything, feeling depressed and overwhelmed by little things that weed and being high helped me cope with. I honestly almost gave up the day I am writing this Nov 2 but I powered through it. Everyone going through this just remember it doesn’t last forever even thou you feel like you might pass out or “die” but never gets to that point it’s your body and mind trying to convince you to get your fix because you made it so accustom to being high. It’s your body detoxing the thc and cbd from itself. Just give it time we all got this 👌☺️

How many days did you feel sick? Did you vomit a lot? I’m trying to decrease, because I went 2 days cold turkey, but then started getting severely dehydrated(I have risk for seizures so it’s important to not let my system go into shock) and smoked last night. I also smoked this morning, and I’m trying to micro dose so I can get my system used to less, so I don’t get AS sick from withdrawal. I am still quitting ❤😢 it’s one of the most challenging things I will do!

I 've telling myself that I'm going to stop smoking weed for months now and I just couldn't handle the withdrawal symptoms, but this video has made me understand the purpose behind those symptoms and that they are part of who we are for a good reason...which is to show and prove to us how substances affect our mental and physical health. I’ve taken a break from smoking many times. I have never had withdrawal symptoms, well only one, when I smoke I don’t dream, but when I stop I have vivid dreams all night long. This was the main reason I kept smoking, but I’m going to ride it out. I don’t think I’m going to smoke weed anymore, I’m over it. I’m proud to say, I’m vice-less right now. I’m on a new level.

Goodness! I’ve smoked weed for 46 years - and loved it! Had a fabulous time and a magical career as an international, award-winning choreographer, working with the biggest names in the business. I’ve also been lightly stoned pretty much all day, every day. Loved it!
About eight or nine weeks ago, wondering what it would be like not being stoned all the time, I decided to stop smoking weed. (Actually, these last three years, I’ve been vaping it - with my Pax).
Well, I checked out a few videos on the subject, many of which led me to believe it was gonna be a though road ahead.
Not a bit of it. It’s honestly been so easy! I’ve hardly had any cravings or desire to be stoned - at all! Couldn’t believe it.
I guess my desire not to be stoned was, and still is, is bigger than my desire to be stoned. And I’m loving it. It’s like a heavy veil has been lifted. Like I’ve been given a whole, fabulous new life!
I’m not saying I’ll never smoke weed again. Certainly, if I go to a party and there’s a joint going round, I’ll have some - maybe. Or maybe I’ll buy myself a little bag for Christmas if I’ve a fancy. Can’t really see that happening, but . . .
So yeah, I’m just writing this to let people wondering about giving up for a bit, know, that for some people - even after 46 years of almost continually smoking weed, giving up was no big deal! I know we’re all different. Maybe you’ll have a try. See how it goes.
    Love and peace . . . J x ☺️

I’ve been a daily smoker for a few years now but same thing, I blamed my depression. At this point I honestly feel like the terms “depression” and “anxiety” are soooooo overused. I’ve changed as a person physically and mentally through the whole time smoking, changed my diet drastically and lost almost 80lbs. I’ve climbed out of that depression and now I feel like a different person. So I’m ready to let this go as well and just move forward. I’m expecting these withdrawals to really mess with my head though.

I quit smoking tobacco in 2019 and it was the best thing I did but over the last 4 years I've really just replaced it with extra weed and it finally all came to a cliff edge moment. I need to push that big addiction monster off and feel what it's like to live as me. I want to be an artist but I stopped painting and drawing when I got high, i have let it steal so much from me. The withdrawal is so needed to help cement this but I cannot wait to be a month ahead already. Second by second, min by min I am getting there

Bro tbh weed withdrawals aren’t that bad, the worst case scenario is you get a headache and you can’t sleep for maybe a few days so i suggest just stay the fuck up when you want to sleep trough the day to fix your sleep cycle I suggest getting sun early, now you prob won’t want to eat for a few days so just drink a whole bunch of water. After 1 week you will be back to normal. Depends on how much you abused the drug it will take longer to balance out but usually after 1 week you start feeling good, especially when your brain starts to dream and heal.

i went to weed bc i already struggled sober mentally for years, i tried to heal myself with therapy and meds but my parents ruined that for me so i turned to the bad alternative. It actually helped me in so many ways ive been underweight for years, finally was able to get to healthy weight when i smoked. I was able to laugh and socialize so much better, I was able to just want to enjoy life. But bc of the good feeling it gave me I wanted to feel it all the time so I just started to abuse. I used it for doing everything to the point i feel like i cant live without it bc i keep thinking abt how i was without it and i was worse. so its like i know weed didnt ruin me mentally i was already mentally no right so i fear i cant fix myself sober bc i couldnt before? I just feel like im mentally just "disabled" the weed works as a medicine for me when i dont abuse it, but i cant stop myself from abusing it. So its either im sober and sad or high all the time. i just want to be able to enjoy being sober, i just want to be happy naturally but i dont ever remmeber a time i was actually happy sober.

Its more easy to go with out a habit then addiction. Like when on nicotine gum they go with out the habit for some tame. But not the addiction If they can go a day or 2 with out something. Then it could more likely be a habit

Day 2 no smoking. I’ve quit for the 3rd or 4th time now and the withdrawal is awful every time, I’m just so ready to get back to normal. It’s so hard though. Life is so tough for everyone right now its easy to want to escape but I’m going to try to kick this shit for good

Just quit, that’s all you need to do, (it’s not as easy as it sounds).
As for withdrawal, there is a degree of how much it can be, how much did you use, what is your fat percentage, how healthy are you living, there are so much factors that everyone experiences it differently.
One thing I’ve found out is that a lot of website mention that withdrawal is away within a few weeks, cannabis in your urine away in a few weeks, etcetera.
On an average it takes 3 months for your body to be cleared from it completely, not to mention the brain and receptors it has been bound to. Therefor there is no real time to mention when you will be free, but by time, you will experience freedom.
Tips, start a new or an old hobby, spoil yourself (you are saving money by quoting, spend it! You deserve it). Get hold on a different lifestyle, just go for it, and experience it!

Use Omega 3, vitamin b complex, Vitamin d, C, l -tyrosine and N-acytlcystine. You still feel the withdrawl and cant sleep but it helps with the manic behaviour alot. I need to work while going through these withdrawls and need to be able to function reasonably well. Nights are the worst but need to struggle somewhere.

Quit nicotine 2 years ago purely just stuck on weed. Don’t even enjoy being high anymore( mostly apart from proper nights out) and I don’t get any symptoms but I am unable to sleep.

Mostly right until the end. My marijuana addiction kills the pain. So it's not pain without purpose. Everything I do is purposeful

Another way is to also replace a addiction with another addiction, but a better addiction for example is running instead of smoking weed
