Even the main Dealers are not as knowlegeble as you Jimmy, not just my opinion FACT !. I have had many DPF issues took my Ford tRansit to top specialists , but they are no where as Skilled as you Jimmy , good of you to help people.

I work at a place that has its own garage, very large garage dustbin lorries, taxis, transits etc i told them "you can clean DPF's on the vehicle" they replied laughing "You cant it has to be sent off" i replied "Keep up the good work"

I am genuinely confused as to why you cannot connect to it as a Fiat. I have the Fiat version as well and the tester I have available connects straight away. It's picky about the year of make, though. Registered in 2018 but the van is 2017 and so must be connected as a 2017.
Been to a Renault garage once and they told me they couldn't connect to it as it's Fiat software in the ECM. Not even parts where they able to help with as the VIN is Fiat. 🤦🏻♂️

Here in northern Spain, at a Renault dealership, they couldnt connect their scanner to my 2017 vivaro. They used a bosch high end diag tool

It seems to me that the main issue with modern engines is the sensors. In Budapest, Hungary the new Mercedes buses breakdown 60% more than the old 60 year old buses just because of the sensor issues failure.
Had a alfa mito 0.9litre twin air 2 cylinder in the other day and the amount of sensors and systems on that car is ridicolous, i have a ds4 and that alfa had atleast 3 times the amount of options on it as the citroen.

Interestingly you say you hate these Vivaro Fiats, but what’s the best or rather least troublesome van in your opinion.
They all need fixing but these are just difficult to work on and diagnose
When you changed the map sensor, did the values of the boost pressure changed? It was clearly visible on the live data? I have 3 vans with this, so will update here when will change one.
You checked the actuator of the top small turbocharger, but there is one bigger at the bottom with two other actuators. I have in mine DTC226321 - turbocharging pressure is too low. I drived with the interface connected and I saw that actual it is overboosted. Reference value is usually lower about 0,5bar. I think about turbines.

@@ORileysAutos I was going to say this as my sons previous Trafic had the same fault. The drivers' reach under the seat for a dropped sweet / other and dislodge it ANYWAYS, great stuff, Jimmy!!
These vans don't regen with oil dilution code! This is your primary problem.

@ORileysAutos Very big detail to forget to mention! Van would have carried out regeneration as soon as you drove it if you reset oil dilution at start of process, Then you could have carried out other tests.

could be worse could be a merc Vito 1.6 (Renault) Jesus look after a fleet of 30 of them unbelievably bad emissions handbrakes gearboxes clutches ign switches timing covers central locking I could go on had brand new ones dropped off less than 10 miles on clock getting recovered back to main dealers fucked no joke absolute crap p.s try to get various emission sensors good luck waited 5 month on back order wonder why
Those engines are terrible to work on. Did a bi turbo egr cooler and a single turbo exhaust manifold gasket. Everything's to come off to get to owt on em. And those damn exhaust pressure pipes!
