Huh. Interesting decision to essentially flip the interactions between Tiberium fields for Infantry and Vehicles. Making it so Infantry can hide in and cross this terrain where vehicles want to avoid it. That and the limited crushing abilities of vehicles seem like they'll give infantry a longer time of relevance in battles that aren't over early.
Indeed, great point on the Tiberium flip Sorain1. I think it is actually great as vehicles more faster and more giving you more effects but also less time to avoid it. And as for the limit to crushing I am not sure that any infantry should be able to avoid it, but at least the tank could get stuck on those big ones? Making it risky to use. What do you think of the Tempest Mechanics themselves ?
@@perafilozofIt's definitely a more balanced mechanic compared to the rest of the latest CnC games IMO. In Red Alert 3, infantry are completely pushed back into the support or backdoor role past the mid game stage. Same with the Tiberium and General series, any point near the late game and infantry presence have little impact in the battle. Making tempests a terrain features that favor infantry definitely a move in the right direction. That's saying, making vehicles take damage over time is a bit too much IMO. Making them more vulnerable when fighting on tempest patches is already enough as they can stay but can't fight there.

Teedy details that bothers me: 1) infantry seems to be without a feeling of formation. This should be implemented to some degree. 2) movement of units looks a bit clunky- I know that there are restrictions of what you xan do graphically and though I like the lower speed, I prefer a slightly more snappy response unless it’s combined with above mentioned note of formations. 3) the design is nice but a bit dark. Never was a fan of the C&C game that followed Generals due to the darkness. 4) the game would benefit of actually doing something new, instead of just rehashing old C&C gameplay mechanics 5) when tanks try to run over infantry, infantry should be crushed. Makes the world feel more alive. Implement an automatic system where the infantry will try to move out of the way, slight stutterstep, to increase the feeling of units being alive (which is the point of having differentiated speed in the first place)
Hi, those are good points. Formations to some degree are necessary especially because of different combat ranges. Movement is definitely one of the parts that needs to be perfect in an RTS. As for being dark... I don't know, it doesn't bother me. Well, we don't yet know everything so can't really say it doesn't bring anything new.

Hi hydBeXAez and welcome to my channel. So far we haven't seen or heard about any major ways of earning new cash. So it is possible it works that way. BTW you can see more videos about it here: ua-cam.com/play/PLRYGjguAn0CHLwHTglnpoCoQ_2UFPyrUn.html
@@perafilozof Hello, thanks :) Has the game been officially released?
Hi, no, we are still waiting for the MP beta, and the full release should be by the end of the year.
is this game got that unit veterancy mechanic?
Hi, yes, this game will feature that game mechanics.
Buying day 1
Hehe thx for the comment. You might be interesting in more videos about this game here : ua-cam.com/play/PLRYGjguAn0CHLwHTglnpoCoQ_2UFPyrUn.html or maybe some other similar upcoming games: ua-cam.com/video/BCfHN83PFG0/v-deo.html
Teedy details that bothers me:
1) infantry seems to be without a feeling of formation.
4) the game would benefit of actually doing something new, instead of just rehashing old C&C gameplay mechanics
5) when tanks try to run over infantry, infantry should be crushed.
Red Alert 3 was bright but a lot of people hated that aesthetic. Didn't bother me, but I understand where they were coming from.
@@SamGarcia was more thinking of Tiberium Twilight. Not great at the series but remember the graphics always bothering me
@@Smelly13 I was talking about brightness and darkness, and Red Alert 3 was bright. TT was kinda bright. You said you didn't like dark. Generals wasn't kinda dark? CnC3 was definitely dark.
@@SamGarcia thanks. I just remember trying C&C (3?) after playing a lot of RA2 and Generals (grew up with the original C&C + RA).
I am tired of waiting! When is this coming out? It's almost halvf-way thru 2023!!!
We can only wait. I know, I am super excited for it myself. What have you been playing while waiting?
If you hate EA ... Blame those who own them .. Blackrock and Vanguard group inc.
Well said. But people need to grow a spine instead of obeying their corporate overlords. Or we are all doomed. Which of these new games are you looking forward to? And btw I have another such list here: ua-cam.com/video/WzSqFUl3HUw/v-deo.html
@@perafilozof With trump return... i believe we can get one final cnc pc game with Joe kucan. then going someone else then bringing a new age of rts games.
@@jean-michellegault7666 Interesting connection between the two. Not sure I totally get it?
@@perafilozof because when trump return everything will be exposed and not only deep state but the politicians, The investors and those who are treasonous will be exposed and trials. When they are arrested, they will have no power and the Ip will go back to the owner or some other studio who care about CnC. EA will probably be dismantled for it’s exploitation and illegals practices or no longer be influenced by greedy investors and arrogant woke people. Then maybe just maybe we will see cnc back the way it was.
Interesting. I didn't see it that connected across the politics and companies like EA
"There are no builder units"
So just basically ever command and conquer game besides generals?
Something like that, but C&C games are just one segment of RTS base building games. Many others also have builder units. BTW which is your favorite C&C Game? And what do you think of Tempest Rising so far?
@@perafilozof I know but it's clearly inspired by the command and conquer games
And it's Tiberium Wars/Kane's Wrath
The game looks interesting but I don't like the unit cap at the top right I think thats just unccessary
I know, I don't like unit caps myself, and hopefully there will be options to take it off in SP.
@@Octi-ku4yf unit cap must be removed. It ruins the gameplay of any RTS.
@@КонстантинПаршуков-о6б Well there are RTS games with unit caps
StarCraft for example
Infantrys so big 🤣🤣🤣
I would say they are just big enough to be able to see what they are doing and command them. If they where to actual size compared to other units and buildings thing would get hard to manage. What do you think of the Tempest Mechaincs?
@@perafilozof ya, i know it, but its so big, same a play toys than control a battles. We cant immerse yourself in a real battle. Its have best graphic, but i think dont have many tactics in battle, we cannot use advantages, support points on the map (increasing damage, reducing damage, or breakthrough shots...) to create a breakthrough on the battlefield. i think that game dont have many special than same old game (c&c, red alert....) It only beautiful
I see, thank you for sharing your view on this. They are going for the simple approach, but than again they have added a number of things those old games didn't have. It is an interesting mix so far. But it is still early to tell will it create problems in gameplay.
I am against your "ramp" argument
It necessitates strategy
Ok, I can accept that. We can't all enjoy the same type of gameplay. Do you have any points in Tempest Rising you didn't like?
We build for China
Haha, good one! Favorite China general ? BTW what do you think of this game so far?
I don’t like unit Capp. Little bit too starcrafty . I like StarCraft but I rather it be more like c &c
Hi and thanks for sharing your thoughts on this game. Have you tried out the demo? You can play the first mission of both the campaigns.
Also what RTS have you played and enjoyed recently?
@@perafilozof not yet. I just got new laptop I guess good time to break in before starting uni. It seems little bit limited I like c&c because less limits and less time messing with drones.
Last rts. On a tablet was red alert rip off. On pc war hammer . For longest time sc2 only game around after playing it for while you notice it’s flaws.
@@perafilozof wait you can play tempest dynasty too?
@@notmyself2533 yes, the first mission in their campaign
@@notmyself2533 thx for sharing. What do you think it's flaws are?
EA RELEASE GENERALS 2!!!
I wish... what are you playing now?
3 nations? Generals 2 is better for me😉
Let's hope so ! But EA...
Act of Aggression
A game that started well but lost its player community due to bad updates by the developers.
Wait, you like Silos that provide no gameplay as you should _never ever_ stockpile resources?
But you dislike builders/workers that provides opportunity for non-game-ending harassment gameplay? With C&C-style single ConYard and few harvesters, losing any of them would be devastating and almost always mean the game is over.
And you want it to be easier to snipe ConYards and harvesters by removing base choke points?
The thing is I hate "sniping" as a concept. So that is why I don't mind open base and hate constructors. That is how I play and that is what I prefer to play with my friends. Your gameplay ideas obviously differ and that is absolutely OK.
@@perafilozof But you said you like that Silos make your economy vulnerable, so obviously you like sniping Silos, no?
I mean, of course, there are a lot of ways to enjoy games - that is why games are amazing compared movie etc - I'm just trying to understand your logic.
I don't enjoy it, but since I am doing a full analysis I had to mention it
