i just realised that i really like the way panasonic renders black skintones, they look a lot more natural than sony - i know... that ain't saying much but it's another plus for panasonic, they are killing it. Good test by the way, thanks for this!
I think the reason is that Vlog tends to render toward magenta where black skin tones tend to go, while Sony Slog’s tend to to go towards green, so not really good for our skin.
That’s why I love LUMIX cameras colours.

Very good tests. One thing I heard was that the AF occasionally struggles in low light situations more so than other cameras like Sony. I was wondering if you can do some low light tests with the new firmware. Thank you. :)
Yes I will, and I confirm on that, I talked about it in some other video. Will test it in this new update and will do a video about it 👍🏾

The S5ii Af is very good. I have used the Sony a7v an the S5ii AF is as good as it an in some cases even better. Lumix has caught up and offers more features for half the price of Sony A7iv or A7v camera
Exactly, but people would not listen, because Sony has been doing a great job marketing their self for long time, but LUMIX is finally getting there. In the next years it will be an interesting battle.
@@samuelboagraphy I used Sony cameras and they never felt right. It felt like an camera bought for people to say I use Sony. Same as Conon users. Watching Lumix growing and keeping the cameras at a price people can afford is something that Sony or Canon can never do. Always felt Sony and Canon ar cameras are made for volggers and Lumix is made for filming. The L mount s lens are great lens for filming. Add the waveforms the vector scales too. Something that Sony or Conon cameras still don't have in there cameras

Good video, but surely at the shutter angle 10 degrees, the autofocus would behave differently than at 180 degrees, which is what we should be shooting video at?
It actually does not matter. Shatter angle or shutter speed (if that way you use) doesn’t interfere with the function of the AF.

Is there a way to not have it pulse to focus on a different object when the face/person leaves the frame? I believe Canon does this in face only detection. I don't want the focus jumping around if a person leaves the frame.
@@d.edwardsfreelanceeditorvi4212 hello, yes Canon has it in some of their cameras like the R6II, and the S5’s for example. Unfortunately LUMIX has not introduce that feature yet

What exactly would you like to know? Because for photography it has never really had any problem for me
So what if AF detects your character from behind and focuses on the tree in the middle anyway?

Good morning! After updating to the latest firmware, is there an option in S5 II to record video in 4k50 or 60 fps with a codec not h.265, but h.264?
There was no such option on the previous firmware, at least I did not find it.
Only in 4k30fps can you record in h.264, and in full HD of course. But in 4k50 or 60 I can’t find any mode with h.264

Better than nikon is surely an overstatement.
Going to a lonely place without any distraction is not an af test.
If you're using your phone to control your camera, you don't need the ACCSOON, you just need the Lumix App
It doesn’t display LUT’s. If you have found a way to do that, please let me know.

Hey buddy, yes I did. You just have to keep downloading the zip. File, and then extract the bin. File, and that will be the update file. But if the bin. File do not work, just download again and try again. Format your card in camera, then put the bin. File in it, and try again.

Once Lumix drops the S1 II, I'll be switching from sony
