Exactly what i was thinking when they dropped the rumor about having similarities to SL3(slow readout). I really hope we get a new sensor that's faster and correct me if I'm wrong, but does that allow for faster AF if developed, correct?
I dream of anamorphic desquize in photo mode and a GX9 with the viewfinder quality of the G9. And maybe a small retro monochrome camera? Don't need 60 megapixel nor 24 bit internal 8K RAW recording in 240 FPS. It is becoming silly. Just make the existing ones better with improved firmware or options like the DJI focus pro compatibility in the S5D. Look at Fujifilm, the X-T5 was an overkill, you should hold on to your X-T3 because it's much more fun to use.
Do you think Lumix will launch an S1 successor. Something between the S5IIX and the S1H II? A camera that can do 4K 60p no crop with a new sensor costing in the $3000 range.
I actually hope so, that would be quite a cool one, but have not heard much talk about it, so no clue. I even did a video about it a while ago about this. Lets see
@@samuelboagraphy I love my S5II X. I don't need such a camera. (S1 II) But if Lumix release it - I might consider it. I have the Original S5 I and the S5II X. I am thinking og getting another S5II X for redundancy (and because I will give the original S5 to a person I want to do a podcast with) I can't justify an S1H II. But a successor to the S1 (an S1 II) probably. If I was making business decisions in Panasonic - I would release the S1H II first and then the S1 II That way there are six months to a year for the hype to build up for the S1H II. Then a release if the S1 II where it seems like a bargain S1H II.
Hi Samuel, I heard somewhere that after the S1R ii, the April release or second camera could be a "Lumix Q3". Bearing in mind that the last 3 Lumix FF cameras were hybrid and video centric (S5 ii, S5iix and S9) and that many photographers wanted a photo centric S9, don't you think that a Lumix Q3 would be interesting for the thousends of Lumix photographers out there?
@@xaviergut8232 I feel like all the latest cameras are basically hybrid cameras, in one way or another, they always make them feature packed for some reasons. If you imagine a photo centric camera from LUMIX, how could it be? Because technically the S9, was supposed to be a photo centric too 🤔
@@samuelboagraphya photocentric camera should have EVF, mechanical shutter, hot shoe for flash photography and a lot of megapixels, 61 if possible. I think the next S1Rii will offer all that. But the S9 is far away from this features. Another option is a fast camera for sports and animals in movement like the Sony A9iii or A1(ii).
@@absolutelyeverything let me know when i can move my camera without getting sea sick, and wear normal shirts without moire, those hdmi ports are very nice especialy when they lag so much there is no use for them like that, and slow motion? well let me just crop almost 2x, internal raw? since youre a pro, but well lumix doesnt have that in fullframe. but atleast you get real professional firmware updates, like airplane detection!...yikes this is not even all and im unfortinately a lumix owner myself but let me tell you, when itcomes to video no lumix can come close to the fx6 and thats a 6 year old camera....
No, don't stop talking about it. It's really relaxing listen to you. 😊😇🤗
The EVA2 and S1H2 would be fantastic!!! I would gladly get them. I really hope an EVA2 drops before I decide to switch from Lumix.
@@harlemwoodstudios let’s hope so

Exactly, imagine how got the AF is right now, with a faster sensor, an AI chip, and a better processor, it will be even closer to Sonys AF.

I really hope Lumix will use a badass image processor and find a way to crank up that sensor readout to provide 8k60.
To only place you can watch 4k and up is at bestbuy.

BRO THAT freaking crop...
Handheld High resolution 300mp picture🤷
An EVA2 would be great. Full frame 6k open gate, L mount. Easy stuff. No fuss, no muss, no filthy bathtub soap scum.
Have been hearing this far too long. Looks like nothing is going to come out. Lumix is in deep slumber.
Nokia coming back, goodbye Apple and Samsung. Thats how Lumix Fanboys have been embarassing themself for 2 years now...
Lemme know when Sony can update their cameras without bricking them or when Canon realizes that people use external monitors with their cameras
