Dr. Janine asks - are you taking this fake B vitamin? She is referring to folic acid which doesn’t exist in nature. The natural form is folate and folate is vitamin B9. Folic acid is found in vitamins and fortified foods like almond milk, baked goods, and cereals. Dr. Janine explains that consuming folic acid can cause stomach cramps, diarrhea, insomnia, and even nausea. Dr. Janine recommends including more folate-rich foods like eggs, lentils, edamame, avocados, or nuts and seeds. She also likes to get her folate from chlorella, a blue-green algae.

Well I'm 3 for 3 on fake vitamins. B12, B6 and folate🙄.
What milk do I drink if almond milk isn't good? I'm not lactose intolerant but just switched to almond milk thinking it is a healthier alternative
Plant-based “milks” are not a healthy option. Most are full of seed oils, emulsifiers, calcium carbonate, gums etc. You’ve been lied to. Either make your own almond milk (almonds and water) or drink full fat milk (preferably unpasteurised).
I notice you are an ND but don’t have the “licensed doctor”badge that other doctors on UA-cam have. Is UA-cam not allowing you to have the badge posted above your videos? That is frustrating 😢 I know that the naturopathy/integrative health field is still not receiving the respect and recognition it deserves.
I think Dr. Janine is Canadian. I once posted links to articles she wrote, and she is super professional and knowledgeable. I don't see these badges in Netherlands
