Somehow I missed this one, this was fantastic, great story. Really interesting to see the actual coffins. You got inside!!! 👍
A very sad and terrible story of two young brothers, sent shivers down my spine telling the story of how they embraced each other before they were hung
Hi Mr Ron...My.First Time Here ..I Was Curious When I Read About The Coffins In Plain Sight... And When i saw The Name.... Serenity Sue.... You All The The Time Mention Her.
Is Good.....You and Her Collaborate and Work Each Other.... Great Example For Others That Own...
You Tube Channels......✍️
Ron's the best, he's an amazing youtube person and a gentleman in real life ❤
Hey Ron thanks for leading me here. I know you have mentioned her many times but I finally went to see the coffins that were opened like tin cans. That was crazy and now this one. Wow! When she went inside and got close I thought she was going to lift the lids off. I really got goosebumps.
Thanks Joey delighted to have you on board ❤
So sad that they didn't have good counsel. So sad people are in a hurry to get to the end of investigation vs doing a job properly. RIP boys. Thank you Sue for the history of those two boys. Beautiful church. God bless you Sue for the great videos you are doing, so that people are remembered.
Hi Carol, thank you very much, you are most welcome ❤️❤️🇮🇪🍀
Just loving the Irish accent.Such a sad story. RIP Daniel and William. The cemetery and mausoleum were beautifully kept. Thanks so much.
Thank you Jani, I appreciate your comment 🙏 😊
Nice job with the production. You were flexible and adjusted to the situation. The voice over was well done. Liked the hoof beats.
I have to say that is one of the nicest mausoleums I have ever seen. It s good to see the public supported brothers in both life and death. What an injustice. May the Cormack brothers rest in peace.
This is why I'm so opposed to the death penalty. 2 hardworking young men, murdered by an oppressive regime which ran the courts and protected their own kind. So glad their remains were transferred to this lovely mausoleum and given a dignified burial. Thankyou for bringing their story to us.
Thanks Elizabeth yes I'm against the death penalty too, I'd rather they'd spend their last days locked up with hard labour 💔
Such a sad story. Beautifully told Sue. Thank you!
Thanks Kimberly ❤️
The church and mausoleum are beautiful but the story is so sad they were both so young. I can't even imagine the heartbreak their parents and family must of felt
Very very sad alright to hear how they embraced each other and prayed before death gave me shivers, so unfair 💔
The church is very modern in its style ,but it’s really big and beautifully done.I like that they kept with pews instead of chairs like a lot of churches have gone with now. This is a very sad story about the brothers.I cannot imagine the grief the parents went through when they were found guilty and hanged. Then to find it was not them that had committed the crime after all. It’s ok giving them a pardon but it did not give their parents their sons back again.Thank you for their story Sue.Love n Light 🥰
So very very sad 💔💔
Greetings from Tennessee, USA. I love your voice and accent! Very impressed with the mausoleum as far as cleanliness and attention to detail. Those poor brothers! But it was very nice to see the support of the town for all the wrongs the brothers suffered. Wonderful presentation. You had me at the very first!
Ahh thanks Jill, appreciate it 💓
How heart braking that the guilty person let these young men die unjustly. The person took a life then took two more . Thank you for sharing with us
Thank you very sad 💔
Those boys have a beautiful mausoleum, everything looks extremely well cared for - cannot believe the door(s) are just left unlocked like that! So sorry they were railroaded like that and that it cost them there lives. Jesus Mary and Joseph, those poor boys!
It's not always open, I was very lucky to get in, it's so beautiful and well cared for ❤
One of the worst deaths I can think of is being executed for a murder that you did not commit. I often think of and say a prayer those who are innocent being held in prison. Not long ago I saw man in America being released from prison after 30 years plus for crime he didn't commit.
Oh it's terrible, innocent and in jail and maybe even on death row
Most excellent dissertation of the brothers story. GOOD JOB! Very sad story but unfortunately not uncommon in every country. I love this video!
Thanks Fuzzy, yes very sad for these young men, glad the community got together and gave them a proper funeral 💔
Everyone has written such beautiful thoughts. I'm new here and I'm so pleased that Faces of the Forgotten suggested your truly marvelous content. As humans, it is impossible to live without challenges, scars, and pain, although many are worse than others. 🇺🇲❤️These brothers must have been terrified.
Wasn't it such a sad story both of them embracing before death, just unthinkable how frightened they were 💔
Great story Ms. Sue. Being falsely accused is still common in U S
Oh it is for sure it's very very sad 💔
Such a sad, but all to familiar story in Irish history😕. May their souls and all the souls of the faithfully departed, Rest In Peace🙏🏻. Thank You Sue for bringing this story to light and beautiful videos of the church interior and crypt….
Thanks Susan, very sad story and I'm sure there are way to many of them out there too 💔
You are a wonderful historian, recounting and visually evoking the tragedy of these lives with such a delicacy. Thank you for these glimpses.
Thank you so very much, really appreciate it ❤
Wow!! Such a sad story. It is good they got a more respectable place to rest. That church at the beginning sure is beautiful!! Thank you, take care!
Thanks Alan, I had a whole different set up but they were doing work at the top of the graveyard with drills so I had to do voice over instead, sure is a beautiful church and mausoleum too ❤️❤️
Love this Sue 😘♥️🙏🌹🌹🌹 Hope all is good over there. The cemetery on my street is the 1st catholic cemetery in boston. 95 percent are from Ireland. My 3rd great grandparents are in this church yard. Beautiful lil gem. Doesn’t take much to amuse me 😂💯 researching keeps me off the streets !
Ahh I love going into old graveyards not a bad pass time ❤️❤️
Heartbreaking. The church and mausoleum are beautiful and well cared for. Thank you for telling this story. Faces of the Forgotten recommended your channel.
Welcome Tom's Dotter, I'm so happy he sent you over, I consider Ron a great friend ❤❤
What a great video. The access, the voice and the story itself makes this one extremely good.
Ahh thank you ❤
How horrible they were hung and then they were found innocent. The church was beautiful thank you for all your hard work and time spent getting these vlogs for us. ❤
Thank you Denise ❤️❤️
Thank you as always Sue…..such a sad story…..hope you are well 🇨🇦💕🇨🇦
I'm good thank you, very sad story 💔
God Bless you Sue. Thank you for bringing the story of these two brothers to life. I hope it will never be forgotten.
This is such a very sad story, God rest them, unfortunately from what I've seen we will all be forgotten after time passes, that's one of my reasons I do this, even the rich, the big mausoleums fall into the forgotten, sad 😔
What a beautiful channel! This is such a heart wrenching story..it really touched me. Thank you for the uploads you bring us. Liked and subscribed 💕
Thanks very much WendyY, yes this one is very very sad, poor young men 💔
My mother and all her family are buried in this beautiful churchyard. The Mausoleum is kept so beautiful, so horrific what happened to those boys, my uncle sings a beautiful song dedicated to the memory of them.
Oh wow Rosie, God Bless your family, how beautiful for your uncle to sing the song for the brothers, the mausoleum is stunning and to whoever takes care of it needs to be commended for their work ❤️
I would love to hear that song 🎵
Thank you for sharing the history of the two young brothers, and the tour of the beautiful church. May the brothers rest in peace, and I pray that vandals dont destroy their resting place, the Mausoleum was beautiful! Thanks for sharing another interesting story. Have a great week. ♥️😊🌹🌻
Thanks Julie, you too ❤
Well done on recounting this sad story, I grew up in killahara and remember this story from my childhood, they say a blade of grass would never grow on Ellis's grave and I believe this to be true.
Wow what a fantastic story 👏 ❤
This was a very sad but interesting story. You’re getting better Sue, keep up the good work.
Ahh thank so much appreciate it ❤️❤️ yes very very sad story 💔
Beautiful work Sue, excellent narrative and research. what drew you to this case, and have you known about it very long?
I sit on Google for hours trying to find out where to video and stumbled upon this so just drove a 4hour round trip to video it for us all ❤️❤️
Very interesting! Could listen to her voice forever, very relaxing!
Thanks Linda ❤️
Such a beautiful church. I love that these days I can tour the world from my tiny little corner without having to walk, now that I am wheel chair bound. Thank you for sharing your travels with the world.🌍
I'm sorry to hear that Yada-yada, I hope you enjoy my videos
A very cool interesting story Miss Sue. Interesting that you were able to get inside and show thier coffins. The moselium looks like it is very well kept and in good shape.
Thanks Keith, I will always remember the brothers God help them 💔❤
Awesome video.. beautiful cemetery.. thank you on how you presented this video.. beautifully done 💜🙏
I was talking live had a different set up but unfortunately there was heavy work going on with drills and the audio was really messed up but I tried my best, thank you very much xx
I think i missed this one. Sad story😢 what a beautiful mausoleum. Thanx Sue for the story and video.❤😊
Very interesting. Thank you & blessings to you & yours. 🙏🇨🇦
Thanks so much, God Bless ❤
Love story’s like this it keeps their memories alive if we don’t hear story’s from someone like Sue they are forgotten and no one would’ve know about there story….Thanks for this very sad but wonderful story about these two innocent young men may they souls Rest In Peace 🙏
Thanks Angel, very sad story ❤❤
They don't know or care either way. They are dead.
🥺 Oh noo..💔😔 Life was hard back then, not to mention unfair. This breaks my heart. 🕊 Hope they are at peace. Wherever they may be.
I'm sure they are, they certainly were God's men and prayed right until death so very sad 💔
The young men were unjustly taken, their parents were the ones who got 'life sentences'.
Their boys, their children were taken from them.
Hopefully they are now all together once again.💖
Beautifully done video. Thanks to you dear Sue, their memory lives on.
Well said ❤❤❤
What if they just died and that was the end of it? No afterlife or anything, there all just dead.
Sue God was showing off when you were made.
Blessings to you for your brilliant vlogs.
My heartfelt gratitude for your knowledge.
Australia 💟
Thank you so so much, wow I truly appreciate your comment ❤️ 🌹
What a sad state of affairs. Iam glad to hear they were pardoned all be it to late. The care that is taken in remembering them is adramable. Beautifully done Sue x
Yes, it is a stunning mausoleum and it was freshly painted as I could smell the paint, very sad story x
I have just found your channel,it's brill, love this kind of stuff, and you do it so well,I would like to visit the grave of the brothers,we go to Dublin,a few times a year,as I live in northern Ireland, and it's only about two hours drive,we usual stay at the the station hotel love it,
You need to make the journey if you can, I was overwhelmed by sadness standing there it's a beautiful mausoleum, thanks for subscribing ❤❤ dot forget to share with family and friends
How very sad. May they both Rest In Peace.
Very very sad, hearing the story of them embracing before they were hanged would bring a tear to your eye, there's a song I linked under the video, typical Irish song telling the story of the brothers ❤️
Wow. What a really sad story. I’m so saddened that this really tragic event even took place. My thoughts and prayers are with any family descendants who may be here, and with the brothers, my heartfelt respect for them both, equally. May they finally rest in eternal peace, in heaven. xx 💞😢🙏🏻
Very very Sad God help them they fear they must have felt 💔
Awesome episode! I came here on recommendation of Ron (Faces of the Forgotten). He said you had a great channel, and he was right!
Thanks Angie, Ron's the best ❤
Beautifully presented, just love the accent. Have subscribed. From Australia of O'Connor & Sheehy stock
Very Irish names right there, thanks Hank ❤
Beautiful story! Thank you!
you never fail to deliver Sue, wonderful video ..... they never got a fair trial back then, I hope their mum was not alive to see it
Hi KathyN yes it's an extremely sad story, I still get shivers when I think of them before they died, how they felt and still thought of God, urgh heartbreaking 💔
Fantastic!!!! Thank you!
Thanks Lee ❤️❤️
That’s a terribly sad story, just tragic, poor fellows may they Rest In Peace.
It sure is, I got the vibe of Catholic verses Protestant vibe so many wrongs against the boys, only 18 and 23 way too young to die but the people stood firm and brought the boys home ❤️❤️
Trying to catch up on all your videos. I can't seem to make it to the lives, I love being able to go back & watch them.
Ahh brilliant I try to aim for 5pm Irish time every Sunday ❤
I'll get it right one day.😘
Just found this video . Listening to the story i started to cry . So so sad about the brothers blamed for something they did not do . Thank you for telling us about it . God bless the two brothers . God bless you dear lady for telling this story . God bless your family also . From G B
So sad, terrible injustice, have a blessed day
Great video! Thanks 🙏🏻
Thanks Liz ❤
New subscriber. Your a great storyteller and I love your beautiful accent.
Ahh thanks so very much ☺️ 🌹
Your so very welcome.🌻
This is a truely sad story!😥, especially considering I have 2 boys not much older, they must have been terrified, may they both rest eternal in peace!😔🙏💜✌️, the morselium is very beautiful I'm glad to see its being well looked after, thanks for the video!😊🙏💜✌️
Very welcome Jamie, they hugged each other before their death, shocking, as a mother too I'm not sure if I'd cope with that
Well that is real bad and seeing coffins was earie. Thanks for sharing. Amazing story!
Thanks Sally it's so sad
Hello from America. Wonderful video. God Bless.
Thanks Stephen ❤️
Hi Serenity! Your videos are very interesting!
Thanks Betty, appreciate it ❤️
How desperately sad. Thank you for the lovely video. The coffins and mausoleum.look so well tended and clean. I shall read up on this wrongful hanging.
Thanks Gail, I felt every bit of sorrow while in there ❤❤
The judge should have been hanged, along with the council for such a horrible thing done to these young men. Thank you Sue, you always deliver with your videos, and stories.
I get shivers listening to the story, hearing how the brothers embraced each other before execution, so terribly sad 💔
Believe in me the judge and the council are now paying for it.🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@keepingitrealandtruthful.5081 In anglosaxon legal was typical overuse of death sentence.
@@filivo It was largely due to public opinion in Victorian times about the over use of the penalty that put pressure on the government to review the penal system. Jurors would often find person not guilty because they disagreed with the severity of the sentence. Up to the 19th century they were still hanging people for lesser crimes than murder.
Great story thankyou for a superb video, all the best from scotland
Thanks Time Traveller, that is so nice of you to say 😊 💗
Thank you for sharing
You're so very welcome ❤
How sad. But what a beautiful mausoleum. I can't believe it's completely open like that! I love the cemeteries there, hope to see them again some day!
Thanks very much ❤️ ❤️
Very nice indeed. I'm watching some early ones since I finally on.❤️❤️
Thanks Suzie, appreciate you watching
Beautiful, sad story. Thank you for telling it. You have a lovely accent
Thank you Kimberly ❤️
God rest their souls, I couldn't imagine the torment these two young men endured not to mention the hopelessness of knowing they were to pay with their lives for a life they didn't take. Surely they walked with Jesus that day.
Ahh such pain visiting these men, so young, it would hurt your heart ❤️
So those weren't the real coffins? Beautiful place. Looks like a lot of old headstones. And I'm shocked you can go in. Great story and video. May they Rest in Peace.
Yes real coffins, just getting painted and I presume they will put the little plaques back too, ❤️
Often the burials of those executed for murder were just wrapped in a sheet an buried in quick lime in the jail compound.
They were buried but on pardon I believe exhumed and placed here
SO SAD, story told so beautifully. The cleanest cemetery I have every seen
Thanks so much ❤️
Classic injustice. We have so many here in Uk that where executed and where innocent, in most cases the jury took about 10-15 mins to decide, and as you said Judges then where not very impartial. I just hope they have had a full pardon, not that it brings them back, but an admission of the crowns failure. Thanks for this sue xxx
Thanks Tom, very sad indeed 🍀🇮🇪❤️
@@SerenitySueGraveyards if they have not had a royal pardon, then get one. its important for the boys xxx
You coming to my premiere tonight at 9.30, I've made you a mod for the channel if you'd rather not be a mod that's no problem, I'll have Irish eyes as a mod too, cheers
@@SerenitySueGraveyards bloody missed it gal i am so sorry, i was out this evening and would have loved to help, Sorry sue xxx
You're grand Tom, have a look I mentioned you, need your expertise on a grave we seen, your a mod now if your around on lives or premiers you'll be able to reply to people and keep an eye on anything that I miss, I've added a few if interested, your help would be appreciated ❤️❤️ if you can't make it it's not a problem xx
Hi Sue, yes this is just another sad example of how catholics were discriminated against. May the brothers rest in peace 💙💙 Beautiful resting place. You did a brilliant job 👌❤️
Thanks Sinead, I had a completely different video but there was work going on and way too noisey to continue it so I had to edit over it, I agree very sad ending to brothers, hardworking and very much lived by their village, a landowner who was so u liked gave many a reason to kill him, even the man who rode horse and car with him, they brought a young girl as witness and she was treated terribly too, I've heard the story before of people wrongfully blamed just to convict someone, it happens this day, its terrible 💔
@@SerenitySueGraveyards I know, it must of been a nightmare for their poor parents. Harsh times. There altogether now 💞
Very ture and it is beautiful too, I'm sure there are altogether, nice to see they are repainting the mausoleum and keeping it right, glad I was able to get down and pay our respects to them ❤️❤️
@@SerenitySueGraveyards It was sad, but interesting. Its part of history & thank you sharing it with us ❤️
Thanks Sinead ❤️❤️
What a sad but interesting story thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching and welcome ❤
Beautiful storytelling 👌
Thank you Rottn Billy, appreciate it ❤️❤️
Great story and video. I’m really surprised you can get that close to their coffins.
It is normally locked with a padlock, I was lucky that day ❤
Such a sad story, their poor mother 😢
Very very sad, the judge was seemly unfair, sounds to me like Protestant v catholics which was a huge problem back then 💔💔
Hi Sue, I just came across this video.
The cemetery and mausoleum are
beautiful, and looks to be in very good condition. Even with the
new paint or varnish job, the
coffins look to be in good condition,
considering their age. When the brothers were disinterred and moved
to the mausoleum, were they put in
new coffins, since they were buried before for what 50 some years?
The brothers story is tragic, may they
rest in peace. Thank you very much for a great video Sue, and GV, ( do I have his initials right? ) Have a great day you two.
Hi Michael, new coffins and they had just been freshly painted when I went, it's a gorgeous mausoleum for the brothers such a sad story
@@SerenitySueGraveyards Thank you very much for getting back to me. Yes,
it is a very sad story, I believe that we have had somewhat similar stories here in the United States.
I pray the brothers rest in peace.
Thank you very much for another great video, take care Sue.
GOOD VIDEO VERY INTERESTING AND IMPRESSIVE THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS WITH US 👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌😇
Thanks Jim ❤️
Yes thank you well told.
Thanks Judy ❤❤
Amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks very much ❤
Always
Wonderful, interesting and so cool! Question: did I see ventilation or some sort of ? to help preserve the coffins? They look brand new!
They had either a dehumidifier or a heater in there not sure which, I could smell paint so I'd say they had got a new coat of paint or varnish plus I noticed the plaques on the coffins had been removed(there was some on a photo I'd seen) so I presume they removed them to paint them ❤
So sad, two young men at only the start of their lives should have been hanged for something they did not do. The Church was lovely and the stained glass windows too. The outside of the mosalium was so beautiful and ornately decorated, but I was astounded at the bareness of the inside not a simple cross to be seen on a wall. As you said lets hope that the original coffins were being repaired as these two coffins were modern in comparison. I feel a lot more respect should have been given by the authorities that be, to allow two innocents no cross. I thought you did a marvelous talk over explaining the tragic history. Thank you so much Sue, I am learning so much of Irish history from you. 💕🇦🇺
The last few photos are of the originals with plagues, so I'm presuming they have painted them and will put back the little plaques, I never thought about that Liz until you said it, God point a cross between the brothers on the wall would be a lovely idea xx
Somehow the simplicity is beautiful in and of itself, much like our Lord’s empty tomb must have looked on the blessed day of Easter
It is all lit up at night so a beacon of light for everyone ❤️❤️
If you are interested in Irish history (I am not Irish) look up the Irish slave trade and how James I and Cromwell deported Catholic men, women, and children to the West Indies in vast numbers as slaves to work on the plantations
wow that was a great but sad & tragic story! awesome upload!
Hey, just subscribed to your ❤youtube
@@SerenitySueGraveyards thank you my friend! Enjoying your channel!
I'll enjoy yours too, going to work soon but I'll be watching later ❤
God knows the truth. Thank you for sharing their story 🙏
Absolutely Fonda ❤️
Beautiful Church I love the Stations of the Cross🥰❤️
To me it actually sounds like the Witness was the Guilty Party 🤔
Amazing, the Coffins are So Beautiful and in such Good Shape 🙏❤️‼️
Thank You for Sharing that Story 🙏❤️‼️
Yes one of the witnesses was subjected to interrogation and they got her to lie which ended with the men being charged, I also think the man that travelled with him may have done it 🤔
That sounds very Plausible to me 🤔👍💯
Without watching.. just wanted to mention... how some people have more space on this earth when dead compare to some who are alive..
I find cemeteries unusually peaceful, sad and very educational all at once.
It breaks my hearts when anyones resting places reduced to ruins due to neglect or having no family to look after them.
All those who lived on this earth deserved to have their resting places looked after
Oh me too, nothing like a stroll through a graveyard or cemetery, so peaceful and beautiful too but yes it's very sad when they become forgotten 😢
@@SerenitySueGraveyards I live in Australia so we don’t have graves or cemeteries dating back that long but they are still very interesting and educational.
I found the grave yards in Scotland and in the UK very peaceful, it was actually a culture shock seeing people sitting in well maintained cemeteries over the pond eating their lunch and bathing in the sun on their lunch breaks
Well it's lovely to have you here, I'd happily sit in a cemetery and have my coffee and relax ❤️
We have a number of pauper graves in our village cemetery. They are just humps of green grass with no names or markers. My great, great grandmother is one of them who died in the parish workhouse.
We have them here too, it's always sad there are no names but you can see the burial mound
2:46 that gate opening sound was very scary, almost like a cry
Oh yes, nothing like a screeching gate to frighten the heart out of ya..thankfully I was the one opening the gate
Great story sue I’ve never heard thank you for sharing this .brave lads .dark times in history
Hi Kenneth, the history here is at times horrible ❤💔
The chilling sound that metal door made at 2:50 really creepy
It's a very sad ending for 2 brothers oh yes I added sound in edit to make the story come alive ❤❤
It's beautifully maintained.
What a horrible story and those men who didn't have die.
I'm glad you could get in there so we could see their coffins. Just had to say a prayer when you did.
Ahh yes Debbie a terrible story, when I read the story of the brothers embracing each other before they were hung, it saddened me ❤
The era of the famine queen has certainly been the worst impact humans have had on the earth and eachother.
SUE THANK YOU. What a gorgeous place . Very sad story for the 2 Brothers to be wrongfully accused and put to death at such a young age. RIP May the lord be with you.
Oh I felt every bit of that video, extremely sad 💔
So very sad but told so beautifully. 💜
Thanks Doris ❤️
That is terrible, how sad ,never heard this before, and it really hit home
For me too Karen, it's so so sad 💔
Whenever I hear an accent like this, I think, "Tanks for nuttin!!!".
Sue, I can't believe you could just walk in!
I think I got lucky it was open, there's a padlock on it. Or maybe it's opend during the day then locked up
these just get better and better wow
Thanks Chase, I appreciate your comment ❤
Enjoyed the video but incredibly sad. I had to go and read the whole story.
It's a terrible story and I couldn't tell it all, there's a song linked below it here, typical Irish song, thank you ❤️❤️
Bless their hearts. Rest in peace, you are not forgotten.
So very sad ❤
The just and innocent will be held in everlasting memory by Him who made them.
Would love to read that poem at the end of the video in its entirety. Unfortunately, much of it was covered over with links to other videos. Can anyone give me any information as to where I could find that poem?
I can try source it, I couldn't read it on the unfortunately as they were doing work with drills beside the cemetery ❤

My goodness so well kept how come it was all unlocked?
I think it's probably only locked during night maybe that or we got lucky and they were in the middle of renovating it or painting and we were there at the right time, it is kept beautiful 😍
