    Curious that the laser left a lot of scorching on the wood with the air assist going. I have the xTool M1 and added the air assist to reduce the scorching. Which, it drastically improved.
    Makes me wonder how good the S1 air assist is or if yours wasn't running correctly perhaps?

    • @SpicerDesignsLLC
      @SpicerDesignsLLC  10 місяців тому +1

      Hard to say. The s1 controls the air assist. You can adjust the settings on it in the software too. First time using it so i may need to make some adjustments.

      @NMayhem 10 місяців тому +1

      @@SpicerDesignsLLC Yea. I would be curious to hear if it makes a difference for you on future engravings. Ive been thinking about upgrading to the S1 but the work I do, I would like clean edges to minimize sanding time and a good strong airflow makes a big impact on that.

    I wish people that get paid to talk about xtool would tell the truth that some stuff is not replaceable like lasers on the F1 and and not covered under the basic warranty. Tell the truth about the afte-care.

    • @SpicerDesignsLLC
      @SpicerDesignsLLC  Рік тому +4

      Xtool doesnt pay me. The review was on the S1 not the F1. The S1 is a new model and i just got it so i cant speak on parts and reliability at this point. I understand what your saying. I think your concern is going to be an issue with any machine whether its an engraver or a tractor…anything. As i use this new S1 i will provide an honest review and share any concerns i have. Thats all i can do at this point. Im assuming your comment is more of a general concern than directed at me.

      @@SpicerDesignsLLC yes more general. People’s need to really research and tell the truth about xtool. They do have good products until they break. I am posting all over media to state the issue of customer service and lack of true replacement parts for devices.

      @@believingintheblood8540 no i keep it. They dont pay me any money. Like i mentioned in the video, there is an exchange. Its not free. I have about 24 hours into that video and more to come. Am i being accused of something here?

      @@SpicerDesignsLLC No sir, just trying to understand the relationship. I see a LOT of xtool things and people sometimes forget to share all the details. I appreciate you and all the ones that brought me to xtool, but also i think the service and repair-ability needs to be discussed.

    I've had 2 different types of lasers for years. There is more and more lasers coming out. These hobby type of lasers you will never make enough money to quit your job unless you have 10 plus lasers running all the time. Cost of power, insurance, and all the rest of the overhead. Hmmmmm. Yes it's a nice little laser for a hobby

    Your videos are nothing but commercials. After two years of a new shop it still looks like a recording studio as none of the other lasers or equipment are anywhere to be seen, and they certainly aren't in productive use. I'm willing to venture a guess that you either ship the equipment back to the manufacturer or sell it soon after publishing the "review" video.

      Well you are incorrect. If you watch our other videos you would see the other lasers and all the work im trying to do on our property. Two years? We moved in to our new house with the new shop last April. Not even a year. Get your facts straight before you make an ignorant comment.
