Curious that the laser left a lot of scorching on the wood with the air assist going. I have the xTool M1 and added the air assist to reduce the scorching. Which, it drastically improved. Makes me wonder how good the S1 air assist is or if yours wasn't running correctly perhaps?
Hard to say. The s1 controls the air assist. You can adjust the settings on it in the software too. First time using it so i may need to make some adjustments.

Thanks for all the videos on your….MACHINES. Your “how to” videos are really easy to follow and way less boring then a lot I’ve watched. Excited to see your channel grow!
It kind of comes in the software. You have to program each section for what power and speed setting you want. Its easy to do. There are some test files out there that other people have shared.
Its a dji mic. I clip it on my hat so the sound stays consistent. I love that mic set up. I noticed a lot of people are using it now. Little echoey in the shop but still sounds good.
You may want to check out the manufacturer specs on the XTool website. Or ask they’re customer service. Its never a good idea to have a machine like that anywhere that could have condensation or high humidity.
I came here for the XTOOL, but stayed for the funny and the immature. That XTOOL is sweet. I might have to add that to my Christmas list along with my wife to quit nagging me, winning the Powerball and having hair on my head again.
Kyle, you ARE funny! But when you explain stuff, it's noted that you do your homework well and keep the information on point. Even though I don't have or want to entertain the thought of a Lazer engraver, you kept my interest. Not trying to blow smoke up your dress but you also have great editing in your videos! Good stuff. Unfortunately no. The video that I watched made it look that way but that wasn't the case. The video was getting too long so I didn't get into detail on that. Had to set each square for the array.
A laser is something that's been on my list to add to the shop. You may have just pushed me from consideration to action. This looks like a really cool machine. I loved the video and can't wait to see you fire up the rotary attachment.

Did you actually buy this, or did Xtool send it to you? Regardless, it's a great device it seems, and I'm still working on getting one myself to replace my glowforge. Edit, guess I could have waited to post lol, no one ever buys their own devices anymore....
They sent it. It is a great machine. Im actually going to be doing a review on their P2 soon. Very comparable to the glowforge. No money is exchanged for the machines they send but its not free. A lot of time goes into these videos, so there is an exchange for time and labor. Thanks for the comment.

I can with my plasma cnc, but not the laser. I have yet to see a desktop laser cut metal but I can't wait till they offer one. It will etch/ engrave the steel though. its works best with coated surfaces.

It is a pretty nice laser. You could still make files in fusion and import them to the xtool software. Its just not a very efficient way to do it. The laser files arent as complex as the plasma table files. In my opinion

I wish people that get paid to talk about xtool would tell the truth that some stuff is not replaceable like lasers on the F1 and and not covered under the basic warranty. Tell the truth about the afte-care.
Xtool doesnt pay me. The review was on the S1 not the F1. The S1 is a new model and i just got it so i cant speak on parts and reliability at this point. I understand what your saying. I've had 2 different types of lasers for years. There is more and more lasers coming out. These hobby type of lasers you will never make enough money to quit your job unless you have 10 plus lasers running all the time. Cost of power, insurance, and all the rest of the overhead. Hmmmmm. Yes it's a nice little laser for a hobby
Your videos are nothing but commercials. After two years of a new shop it still looks like a recording studio as none of the other lasers or equipment are anywhere to be seen, and they certainly aren't in productive use. I'm willing to venture a guess that you either ship the equipment back to the manufacturer or sell it soon after publishing the "review" video.

These hobby type of lasers you will never make enough money to quit your job unless you have 10 plus lasers running all the time. Cost of power, insurance, and all the rest of the overhead. Hmmmmm. Yes it's a nice little laser for a hobby
If you find the right niche its possible. Theres a lot of variables to that.

Your videos are nothing but commercials. After two years of a new shop it still looks like a recording studio as none of the other lasers or equipment are anywhere to be seen, and they certainly aren't in productive use. I'm willing to venture a guess that you either ship the equipment back to the manufacturer or sell it soon after publishing the "review" video.
Well you are incorrect. If you watch our other videos you would see the other lasers and all the work im trying to do on our property. Two years? We moved in to our new house with the new shop last April. Not even a year. Get your facts straight before you make an ignorant comment.
