I have owned several other premium smart phones,this one is the the best by far.Good review,but this thing does so many things extremely well in day to day usage.Its fast,solid,sound is incredible when i wire it out good speakers,never hangs up glitches.SUPERB.
theres more than waterproofing here fans.the audio is fantastic,super clear n strong,build is flat strong n classy,the HD Bravia screen is tops,REAL COLOR,ppi is leading edge.fit n feel is wonderful.pure class.
The phone's performance is a bit buggy. I've had mine for almost 6 months, and am not pleased with the performance. The camera quality is alright, and somewhat similiar to my previous HTC Incredible S's 8 MP camera. Using the 12 MP option on the Sony is not always a good idea because the picture size is not wide-screen and doesn't even cover the phone's screen. The quick launch option is a mixed bag and works once every 2 or 3 tries. It IS waterproof and I tried it and it was good.

HELP! I'm planning to buy Sony Xperia acro S by the end of the year. However, I don't know if it uses a regular SIM or microSIM! I KNOW that GSMArena says it uses microSIM in the review but on Sony's site it says that it uses a regular SIM and that it can work with microSIM only using the Sony microSIM-to-SIM adapter which is included in the package. I don't know who to trust now, please HELP!
And BTW, I wouldn't call the Acro S slim, but I don't like overly slim phones. I like the Acro S because I like to feel the phone in my pocket, but I don't like screens bigger than 4.3". This one is the best choice I can make!

Just besides where the USB port can be seen. My question is, is it still water proof? Can it still be repaired? I am using xperia acro s. Thanks
as every risk might happen to any device when not applying the manufacture standards; you risk your phone to shut down; or even to break; like when you but a blinder and they tell you not to exceed for example 120 volts; thats the device maximum limit; or like a submarine it can go to fix deep under water if the captain exceed it the submarine will break; due to water pressure and so...its not that simple but if you have the device i dont think its a good idea to go more than 1 meter and 30 mins
Dude i have checked and i think ur right but better than acro s is xperia s or sl anyways cuz they r having a much better design their only drawback is that they r not water proof every thing else is awsome ;)

that might be a problem but even with a open cover this will be a problem but u just dont have 2 open them u know and first 1 min if theyre open that wont be a problem i guess but u have 2 be careful
haha cool we both in the same problem then but dont worry about that u can't open it if u need 2 force turn off like plug the battery out u can press the volume up and power button the phone will be force turn off so its all safe and great

It uses a regular Sim :) and it normally comes with a microsim adaptor incase you use a micro sim for your old phone.

I should buy the acro s, because it has better specs and is almost a year younger. If you are on a budged, you should go for the xperia S.
Sony products are always thinking about the user , small sound will not damage to ear . Small sound but very good quality
