We've been waiting with bated breath for the Sony Xperia T ever since it became clear that's the new phone of James Bond, err... that it will feature a new 13MP shooter, but that's not all the Xperia T has to flaunt -- it is powered by a modern 28nm Snapdragon S4, has a large HD screen, and is one of the few to take advantage of Android's on-screen navigational buttons, allowing it to keep the size compact and bearable...

I bought this 3 days ago. Love it. I bought this instead of the the Xperia SP. Primary cause of the camera and this set is great to hold and looks awesome. Mine has Android 4.1.2 Jellybean. Really love this phone. I know SP has a better battery and better GPU. But I wanted a good camera even at the cost of battery.
I dont know why its called the bond phone cause its not used to his advantage at all. It didnt do anything other than make a call. Wow big deal

i agree. looking at the video the volume rocker looks very comfortable when holding the phone on left hand.

This is a wonderful phone, I would recommend it above all else, including iPhone. I watch full movies on it, battery Life is good, and processor is great. Only draw back is the reflection in day light. Go get it!
This is the best Sony phone I owned, better than the Xperia S, Acro S, and HTC one S. The black rubbery back fits very good in your hands and doesn't annoy you while holding it even if you have small hands.
Look! The buttons are not too low if you're right handed. You'll hold the phone with your left hand and scroll up and down with your left thumb or right hand. The buttons are excellent positioned for your left hand fingers. You even prove it in the video!
Both Xperia T and Nexus 4 are great devices.
Both of them has there pros and cons.
No need to fight.
I have a Xperia TX and I think it's a great phone. Sure it's not on par with the Nexus 4 or other Quad-core devices that uses the S4 (or equivalent) but when you look at real world performance, it doesn't really matter actually.
I have a sony Xperia t its a very good phone overall. It's big, fast and has a brilliant camera. The downfall on this phone is the battery life. Also when you are on an application for a Long time and go to the home screen there is like a 2 second delay for it to load up. But I would recommend it for people who are looking for a reliable phone which is not too pricey.
hi brandon my friend is giving me on off these phones next week .unsed and in in its original box.i sell ceramics art deco on ebay.i have been using an 8 years old ipod for my pics which dont come out great and come out blurry and hazy.also when the daylight goes im very limited in what i can do pics wise.some of my cream colours in my plates etc come out as white.and its just difficult to capture light colours properly.the camera is my main reason for getting the phone. do you recommend the this phoone and the camera
If you don't mind the size of the SP than go for it. It's a combination of last's year NXT series S,P,U combined in one attractive package.
This is a brilliant phone and I would highly recommend it (bought it on contract today) (teenager)
It has 13mp vs 12mp of the Xperia S, micro card slot but lacks in pixle density, Xperia S 342 vs 323 of the T version. T has 1850mah vs 1750mah of the S, but the T has 4.55 inch screen vs the 4.3 S screen which isn't a battery saver. Anyway you can see the specs on phonearena or gsmarena.
I want to buy a Xperia phone and I think I'm gonna go with the S because is has good spec, pixel density, good processor and 32GB of space.
2:28 normally you hold your phone in the left hand so the position of the side buttons as actually beneficial.
Getting this phone in one week and four days. Can't wait.
Just got this phone, it's brilliant and I prefer it to my iPhone 5 it's just so more customizable than the iPhone 5, the iPhone 5 is more restricted just like the windows phone. I highly recommend this phone to anyone

I really don't understand this whole benchmarking craze because I am not buying a processor or a RAM, im buying a phone, which means what I receive is the interface and screen quality and I want those to work smoothly, intuitively and elegantly. At a certain point, unless you're using AUTOCAD on ur phone, a human cannot tell a one nanosecond difference in speeds.
The SP has a very cool transparent element. So, if you like how unique it is, you might go with it. However, I still believe the T is a winner.
no lag so far, and battery life...well, depends, i use it for internet and gaming and calling. battery lasts about a day and a half, but when im not using it, it lasts very well. overall, id recommend this phone
This is now $310 in Australia. Thinking of buying one for my dad because his smartphone camera is not good and this is $310 for a 13mp camera and seems like good value. My dad takes lots of photos using his phone .
Watching this video on this phone, if your thinking of getting it do so, it is very good, great photos, smooth, stunning display and very user friendly.
Still want a Xperia S. This phone has a different shape, but the Xperia S has 32gb storage - 25 usable. I think this is more than enough for me. The SL has some minor improvements like 1.7ghz processor but not that much of a difference spec wise. Anyway it will gat the 4.1 upgrade and it will fly on apps.
I would say go for the SL, it's an amazing phone with a very unique design.
This is the phone to beat atm. Its S4 processor is out performing quadcore phones, mainly because Android and most apps arent optimised for quadcore yet. Its camera is very good, especially with the Exmor R sensor. I am so glad it doesnt have AMOLED too. I am tired of seeing radioactive colours and suffering screen burn. Its playstation app can be projected via hdmi to a hd tv and you can play games with a synced up ps3 pad. DAMN!!! Not to mention Sony has the best Facebook sync of any make,
each phone are with their own personalities, as long as the end-user is satisfied and contented
bought the phone when it came out, would highly recommend it
speed wise mine runs perfectly, it prety much opens album instantly, and the camra does take a while to focus some times but once it does the quality seems to be good. if you are refering to the protective stuff on the back i see your point, ive only had it a few months an ive had to get a case because the paint is peeling off on the corners of the back.
and yea batery isnt much good, i can just about manage a day of use before it needs charging over night.

Agree with you, but from what I know the S4 doesn't feel more powerfull compared with the S3 because in every day tasks it isnt' noticeble by the user, only in benchmarks and other stuff. It may consume less power from the battery but it's screen it's bigger in the T version, so the power consumption is almost the same as the S version.
i belive its in a folder called 'DCIM.' on the internal storage, and in there on mine is a file called '100ANDRO' which it saves pictures to

I have a serious question about this phone. I've noticed without being on my phone, it still manages to stay connected to wifi and i would receive email and facebook notifications throughout the night. I'm worried that because of this, my data is being used up by each minute. Does my phone automatically connect to my Wifi even when it is asleep?? What if I don't have Wifi available? Will it automatically connect to Roger's wireless and send me more notifications while i am not active on my phon

I've seen some reviews on the TX and I would have to say It does look better and the removable battery is a plus in my book. But I can't seem to find a single contract on the phone within the UK only the Xperia T.
V has bluetooth 4.0, HDR, Superior Auto, Clear Audio+ & Sony BE 2... So yeah Xperia V hands down (V has 4.3" screen, VGA cam, no hardware cam button but still I wud go for the V.)
The Xperia T has a whole new S4 processor though, its been out performing quadcore phones. The Xperia S, though a good phone, is the older S3 processor.

I got this phone on 15th april. and i can say this is the best phone you cn buy it from sony aftr xperia Z. both looks slimy and sexy and the xperia T is in lead from its design. the design is soo amazing!!! and the next thing i hve seen many cmnts dat the battry life is too bad for xperia. but u can increase the batry life by installing "easy battery saver" 4m google play. nd my xperia t is wrkng mre than 24 plus hours in a nrmal usage datz mre than enuf for me...
say WHATEVER u want !!! Sony was- is - and will forever product the BEST phones in the market.........
Really nice phone, only problem I have is that Sony should think about making better, more powerful and longer lasting batteries inside their smartphones, like the Xperia T since you can't remove the battery. If Sony makes a powerful smartphone then they need to consider a powerful battery to back it up otherwise having a high end phone full of features is pretty useless, instead of a 1850mAh inside the Xperia T, a 3000mAh would be much better. Just a suggestion.
Actually, the lower volume buttons are more practical when you want to increase the volume during phone call.

yep, I do. I do pretty much everything that my friends do with their iPhones with my Xperia T. It is also a much better looking phone and not many people have it, I hate that some phones (iPhone, Galaxy,...) are everywhere! I like to be different and unique, and sony is. After I bought this, 3 people have bought the same phone in my school. Imagine that! (and it's been less than a month)
only problems with mine are the postioning of the side buttons, and how temperamental it is to save pictures to it from a pc or put picures from it to a pc, sometimes it just says you canot save at this location for no reason,

Is there a practical difference between the T, V and the S? I want one of the XPeria phones but dont' know which is best. Most important for me are NFC, compatibility with other devices (HDTV for example) and decent battery.

I'm trying to get into the internal memory on this phone but can't find a way to do it. I connected it to a computer, created a Games folder and transferred some games into it and now I can't get into that folder through my phone. Did this on my other Android phone without any problems by the way. If anyone knows how I would appreciate any input. Thanks in advance.
xperia t or xperia v, the t has a bigger screen and camera key. but the v has bravia engine 2 and water/dust proof. do they have gorilla glass 1 or 2 and if you had to choose which one would you pick?

when i walked into o2 it was out of this phone or the Sony Xperia S. they both pretty much have the same features, it was the look that made me chose the S over the T, this phone simply looks like a 2010 phone. but I have to give it to Sony, the new Z looks amazing.

just out of curiosity sir, are you using your phone in tilted screen? i dont get why it matters? screen is small, and usually if you're holding and using it its always up face and dont have any problem on it.. its a phone, . not television.

Did you watch the time and date on the phone? its 11 36 when it starts and it has 31% battery.....and after 23 minutes at 11 59 its at 23%...njsut whatch the date and time closely
So, between the new Xperia T and the new Motorola RAZR HD , wich one should I go for and why ? The screen on the RAZR HD looks better, the phone has a larger and better battery life , its LTE/4G, and yet, something still holds me from buying it in favor of the Xperia T

The CPU in SGSIII is slower than the CPU in Xperia T. Look at the benchmarks. And yes, I'm talking about the quad core version of SGSIII.

I saw the commerical advert for this phone in August didn't have a clue it was in James Bond Skyfall movie. Nevertheless I seen it didn't have a front facing camera but I found out it did. So I want it even more. I don't know what phone Sony Xperia U or T. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 or Samsung Galaxy S3? The Xperia T has fantastic camera 13MP :D
Those tiles in the Walkman app are not windows phone like, they are taken from the Playstation store on the PS3 which has been around for ever.

if you want that then get a feature phone. as far as smartphones go, they are mini computers meaning you are shelling out hundreds for that processor and that ram.

i disagree with his assessment about the new location of the side buttons idk about the rest of you but when i hold my phone the tip of my thumb holds the top of while the base of my thumb never gets close to touching the bottom at all making the location very practical. I was considering this to be my next phone available now with my serivice provider the 13 mp camera really sold me however LCD screen threw back off if it was an AMOLED this would be my phone for 2013
Unfortunately the battery dropped by 6 percent in 4-5 minutes. Watch from when he first turns the screen on until like 6:00

Problem is Android still isn't optimized for quad core and doesn' have true multitasking like a PC has.
On phones raw performance is still more important than the number of cores.

Well technically that depends on the person... Everyone is different, some people hold their phones in their left hand yes, but some people feel more comfortable holing it in their right hand. I myself prefer using my left so I'm fine, but it's just something to think about, not everyone is the same, some people with find it beneficial, some won't. (:
