    The serial # was likely the same as the amp board you sent back. They would normally peal that off and reapply it to the new amp board. This is really only done, so they can keep track the warranty activity of the complete cabinet. A lot of manufacturers do that these days.

    Im pretty sure EAW is owned by RCF now. I have some NT series tops and subs that I bought over 20 years ago that still sound great and have never had any problems with . BTW always enjoy your videos

      They do. It's now part of the RCF group. A lot of the products they currently sell were developed prior to the sale, but I believe the RS series was developed after the sale. In one of my previous videos, I referred to them as the poor man's RCF speaker 🤣 mostly because the rs123 has a 3-in compression driver with a pretty low crossover, which is something that RCF likes to do. But throughout the years eaw has used RCF drivers. Hopefully, eaw continues to maintain some internal product development.

      Yeah, I would say it's a pretty even trade between the two.
