it amazes me when people say it has nothing to do with the religion Islam without asking why Muslims do go on attack and violence when their religion is criticized. Minimum the author was Muslim who is considered as an apostate who kind of insulted Islam. The penality in Islam for him is death and that is in the instruction given to Muslims by their prophet. There are verses in the Quran and Hadith that actually promote violence against nonbelievers. Yes most Muslims are good but people are generally good where ever you go. They are good despite what their religion actually says because they don't know that their religion promotes violence or they ignore it or such acts of violence are applicable only when Muslims are powerful and can dominate.

Because they are protected and the indigenous people of the West are now second class citizens. The aim is to dilute down the indigenous culture/Christians by the cabal so they weaken down Christians and Caucasian culture. They want us pre dominantly a mixed race. Encouraging another religion in particular to take over. All part of a planned agenda and we know it's real because certain areas of the country have more ethnics than white Caucasians now. I also notice that supermarkets virtually give food away with very low reduction on food where there are mostly ethnics and areas mainly of white Caucasians get a measley 10 or 20% reduction. The problem with Islam isn't just the history that was marked by blood from day one. The biggest problem with Islam is that no one have authority to decide what is the right interpretation of verses. Many Muslims will defend stoning of an adulter based on the the prophet's teaching. Few will disagree. And that goes almost on anything in that relegion. You can have 50 Islamic sheikh giving you 500 different interpretation of the verses . The Quran is also very contradictory Look for example to what Quran teaches about Christians . Parts it describes them as followers of the truth Ahl Al Ketab Then later it describes them as Kufar that need to be fought. Muslims like to take advantage of this Quranic circuses in their relegion to defend Islam. Until ISIS came and adopted The most basic interpretation of Islam
Right. If the Coran is not the literal word of God, an important and fundamental part of the Islamic faith is put into doubt and ridiculed, leading in the long run into a weakening of the Islamic faith, just as the movies by Buñuel and later by Monty Python contributed to the decline of Catholicism.
There is quite a lot more to it than that. Rushdie's main point was to question the legitimacy of the Koran itself. His fictional book The Satanic Verses is named and based on the satanic verses of the Koran. These verses are in early additions of the Koran but were later removed. They are problematic because they show that Mahound (Mohammed) adapted the text as he changed his mind due to circumstance. The text is a pretty clear indication that it was written by a man with an agenda and not channeled direct from God. The reason some Muslims are touchy about Rushdie's novel is because it calls into question the popular belief of the Quran being pure and absolute in its authenticity. Rushdie is a brave man for addressing this major issue.

I remember when the fatwa was issued by the ayatollah. I also remember my good friend who worked at a book store saying "there's no need to take the book off the shelves" in order to avoid protests or violence, because it immediately sold out. The ayatollah's reaction did more to publicize the book and create demand for it than if he had said nothing. Alas, Islam hasn't had a reformation like the Christian or Hebrew faith...yet? (There's still a modicum of faith left in This athiest, apparently.)
Reformation sounds like something beautiful. In case of Christianity, it was about undoing the changes of power structures to make Christianity a better tool for the powerful ones. That also explains why the reformation was bloody: Vatican wasn't willing to cede its power and the kings and lords trying to get out of its sphere of power often converted to reformed Christianity for more practical rather than religious reasons. But if you reform Islam, what can you expect? There is Quran, Sīra and Hadiths. With a lot of verses hostile or straight out murderous towards us infidels (kafir). If you reform that, you can expect something like ISIL (Daesh) killing the kafir, you can expect military expansion, slave trade, genocides of the Hebrew, Christian ethnicities like Armenians, or various syncretic religious communities like Yezidis. I wouldn't call for them to reform, I'd rather call for them to read the book this video was about, denounce Muhammad as a false prophet, and maybe convert to Christianity. That being said, for each individual, this is an immense risk: Their own family will want to kill them to protect their "honor".
Religions have had many reformations, so did Islam but it being the most recent religion and having had no reformation since 500 years ago can explain why it's stalling and retrograding
@@gozearbus1584 But how could there be a significant reform towards 21st century? Christianity became a crusading religion, but Jesus himself and his direct disciples waged no conquest. Reminds me of when Malcolm Muggeridge and the Bishop Of Southwark "debated" cleese and Palin over the "blasphemous" "Life Of Brian" movie. (The Bishop admitted that he hadn't seen the film). The Christian hard liners picketed cinemas, and the movie's success was guaranteed. I read Rushdie's book based on the furore at the time. The irony is, it's not very good. Had it just been ignored it would have slipped into obscurity, and may well have been out of print after a few years.
@@JK-sz1xy sometimes it is better ignore. Sometime it is better to retaliate. In islam we have both options & we should choose whichever suits our nation best.
I haven't read Salman Rushdie's book, but I have read Jonathan Swift's work extensively, and in detail. He wrote many things apart from 'Gulliver's Travels' (which is a general satire upon humanity) - but the most powerful piece he ever wrote - and had to publish anonymously for fear of being accused of treason and 'sedition' (for which he could have been hanged) - was 'A Modest Proposal', in which the persona whom he adopts puts forward the idea that the best way for the Irish peasantry to better their lives in the Eighteenth Century would be to eat their own children. That work of his is the most forceful, brilliant, and most justified satire I have ever read - and I suspect the 'The Satanic Verses' can be seen as following in the same strain - i.e. it's in the same satiric genre. So I would disagree with you that 'The Satanic Verses' is 'merely' a work of 'fiction'. I suspect that it is a brilliant satire against extreme fundamentalist ideology - ideology which is ALWAYS flawed, and never justified as a basis for living one's life. Christopher Hitchens also voiced on several occasions a similar opinion about the questionable 'authenticity' of the Koran - but it was cancer that killed him, not a fundamentalist Islamic zealot - who wouldn't understand (and his ignorance is very dangerous) the literary notion and 'secular sanctity' of satire anyway. He probably wouldn't be aware of 'literature' at all - the only book in his life a cobbled-together mish-mash of Old Testament and other dodgy texts claiming to be the sacred WORD.
well written, a bit lenghty and it is required as everyone views with a bias. I am also a fan of Swift, but did not hear about this book. Let me read it. The real reason an educated muslim is unhappy is to say 'Satanic Verses' are those that are read daily five times a day across the globe by only one religion. For me, there is no GOD, and it has been proved time and again, the men of science are rescuing Salman and he will come back alive albeit a one eyed man.
How is speech that goes against religion not hate speech? If we want to be honest we can be honest. I am an open minded Christian who thinks that Muslims have the right to exist and practise their religion just as I do. It is no use writing books or making speeches that you sure know would ruffle feathers among the christian or Muslim community or any other community. I wouldn't do or recommend it. But if one feels that they have the right to say what is offensive to others without empathy or compassion or any understanding of what it makes them feel, then they are ignorant of human nature.Humans are what we are. Little can be done to radically change us. We must rather seek understanding of human nature and try to live in peace with others.

Don’t fictionalize a religion that is beloved by 2 billion people. We love prophet Muhammad (pbuh) more than our own parents and any other human. I personally don’t think killing is a good response unless hadith state otherwise. In addition it’s been proven so many time that the Quran was unchanged.
Islam provides the death penalty for blasphemy, however much muslim denies. “A Muslim blasphemer of the prophet PBUH will be killed under hudd and his pardon won’t be acceptable.” - (Ibn Abidin, Kitab al Jihad, Bab al Murtad) The provision is extended to non muslim blasphemers as well. Some in Pakistan deem a failure to execute as tantamount to collusion and therefore, a separate but related act of blasphemy. Of course everything is peaceful until you come under their law. Have you seen any muslim cleric condemn perpetrators of terror?

The more you try to silence someone, the stronger their voice becomes. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Only the weak are scared of ideas that are against theirs, the strong face them with grace and respect.
Your explanation of how we get the KJV seems to be confusing some claims often made about the much earlier council of Nicea, which aren’t right either. While the KJV is just a translation, and has issues as a translation, it had nothing to do with picking cannon.
Well, that's an oversimplification of how the KJV was influenced by the biases of its translators, most of which was unconscious on their part, only occasionally rising to something approaching consciousness (like how ecclessia or "assembly" is translated as "Church"). The truth is that every religion reflects the culture it comes from, to some extent. If they didn't, they would have no followers. That doesn't mean the religions are worthless, it just means that religious fundamentalism misrepresents what religion actually is.
This kind of speaking out against unjustified violence in the name of religion is really needed. The actual revolutionary promoters of religion, like Jesus had simple rules of thumb like love thy neighbor and don't throw stones. If only religious people could adhere to that advice ..
I think when someone makes a joke against a person that sits in an audience it is quite different than writing a fictional book. One has to expect strong reactions, albeit insults should not be uttered in the first place, certainly not in front of a huge audience, certainly not in front of someone that cares for a person that is insulted. Physical violence should be completely refrained from, regardless. It is just ugly.
Mohammed followed the same belief. to prove non Muslims wrong by the shedding of their blood by the blade of a sword. so the belief of the ayatollah in 1988 against Salman Rushdie is the same belief Mohammed had against non Muslims.
12:42 I couldn’t have said it better myself. We have created a society where if you do not conform to certain beliefs, you must change how you think or you’re met with force. The world today is very reminiscent of Orwell’s 1984. You’ve convinced me to read Rushdie’s book. New subscriber!
You are talking gibberish, King James version of the Bible is not different to other versions and no one takes the whole Bible literally the word of God as it also contain traditions, culture and historical events.
Unfortunately Muslims are required to interpret the Quran as the literal word of God. There are harsh punishments that are prescribed for those that don't. The Islamic world did not have an enlightenment, which is why religious texts and practices are badly in need of legislation in secular white countries. Particularly when it comes to practices like infant genital mutilation.
It is not simple case of offending a person, but a culture of millions which has evolved from that book. There is history of crusade against Islamic culture, which has hardened attitudes and created a siege mentality, of the world being antagonist to them. Change, if that's Rushdie's purpose, cannot come from offending the sensibilities of millions but by making them see reason. It is easy to criticise without understanding the background under which feudal ideas took roots in Iran. A fact is that an elected Mossadeh government in the early 1950s was deposed by CIA murdering by him and installing in his place a vassal, Shah of Iran, as care taker of Iranian oil assets over which American companies had complete control and investments in which these companies capitalized over several decades, sharing virtually nothing with the Iranian people themselves. Mossadeh, after his elections wanted to restore what belonged to Iranians to Iranians. For this he was murdered. With this the life of flowering economy and emerging liberal society was cut short for vested commercial interests of a handful of American companies and their investors. Shah, a comprador, who was brought in was not only authoritarian but cruel - a sort who would brook no protests as he ran the country with iron hand. In this atmosphere religion was the only source to unite around to throw out Shah and with him the Americans. Inevitably, in absence of any progressive options, people united around the Iranian clerics in order to break loose from American neo colonialism grip over that country, through it's most cruel monarchy. This ended any chance of liberal cultural transformation of Iran which had begun in short lived democracy. The history of Afghanistan is similar. But the history of greatest treachery is to be found in how the British and the French betrayed the panarabic independence leaders during ww1, who were seeking independence from the ottomans. Instead of helping them achive this independence in return for their help against the turks, these powers were busy signing treaties behind their back on dividing these lands into areas of their interests. After the war, these powers broke up the Arab lands into small kingdoms and emirates, installing the feudal lords who would allow them the exploitation and control of the common wealth of all Arabs, for their own self. Such has been the history of the west in promoting feudalism and while suppressing liberal culture from emerging. This brings us to Rushdie. Frankly, I have not read him, but his statements that the writer must have freedom to even offend doesn't appeal to me. If his aim is to reform, no body has ever been reformed by offending deeply inbuilt beliefs. Change can only come through creating objective conditions for change. But if Rushdie wrote it to establish his liberal credentials in a country which prides in its liberal culture and which he has made it his home, it is even worse. Unfortunately, the liberalism by which the western governments swear and project themselves as upholder of these values have no serious commitment to these same values. Liberalism is just a fascade behind which they have committed the worst crimes against millions. They used this Lofty principle expediency to deceive and ferment troubles in other countries, for their own ends. This has been reflected in the wreckage of failed states they have left behind, messing up lives of ordinary people, all for serving their own narrow interests. Liberal values can only proliferate when people themselves feel the need for it. It cannot be imposed by outside, by big powers whose intentions are a suspect. Rushdie, if at all has failed to grasp this aspect. If barbarism is to be rooted out, it requires good will not faux liberalism, hiding behind it the treacherous intentions.
Mossadegh was not murdered but kept under house arrest until his death in 1967, a full 14 years after he was overthrown from office by the CIA. Agreed FULLY with the rest of your comment, Modak Ji! 👍🙏
Well done ! Our freedom of speech has been compromised for many years and we should not feed the beast when the words of their truth ring dominant. All based on the power over another - ignore them or just test their sense of humor - that always makes them check themselves. I have found that the more insecure you are the more you have to stand behind number.
Will you also call the stoning and burning of a girl all in the name of Islam at sokoto state in northern Nigeria a power tussle? Why not call a spade what it is?

That's not true for the Bible The Bible is the word of God preserved by the only true God.people may doubt that's their job.The God we have in the Bible is actual and living one.
For the average believer maybe but the Islamic elite throughout the centuries have certainly used it to hold power, and likely believed their own lies.
The Quran does not explicitly prescribe a worldly punishment for blasphemy. It only condemns it and warns of severe consequences in the hereafter. I will share a verse from the koran that tells us how to handle those who mock our religion : 4:140: "He has revealed to you in the Book that when you hear God’s revelations being rejected, or ridiculed, do not sit with them until they engage in some other subject. Otherwise, you would be like them. God will gather the hypocrites and the disbelievers, into Hell, altogether." As you can see, no violence. Just dont be in their presence. Blasphemy laws are different in every Muslim countries. It may be inspired by religion but its not explicitly from religion as are many laws. For instance, the koran prohibits adultery, but it doesnt tell hotels to check marriage certificate of couples. But laws in some countries like Morocco make it a requirement to check for marriage certificates when couples check-in to hotels. Its not explicitly from islam but is inspired by islam. Same with blasphemy laws. Each nation applies it as they see fit, with Islam in mind. But that flaw is not with islam. Its with the ruler.
Thank you for this, sir, great video and explaination! It makes me deeply sad we exist in such a reality where the human mind may see life, religion, free speech, right of an opinion, right of an alternative point of view in such a way that the only reaction is violence. To put it plainly, this is not a behavior of a rational, sentient being.
I was a student when the Rushdie book came out, and my Muslim friends and I talked about it, of course. My friend and I come from North-Africa, and we disapproved the book, without getting too upset about it, but her husband was from Lebanon, and both he and his friends were much more upset about it. Those from the Middle-East are far more emotional. Of course, that has to do a lot with many of those countries having had colonial pasts, with US-led war in their country for oil afterwards...they never show the destruction brought about by those wars on MSM, but the suffering has been immense...young children raped and killed in front of their parents, or parents beaten to death in front of their children, sex-slavery, torture, forcing men to do it with men in prisons, all the humiliations the ''liberators'' could think of, were applied...And then came the famine, lack of medical care,etc...still they keep on going. Often the one thing they have left is their faith, and the hope of a happy after-life. I can understand that you can call religion a means to achieve control, but mostly it was meant to show a way out of bondage. To spit on the only sacred left in the lives of those who have been suffering so much should not be done. And I must honestly say that although most of us (dangerous Muslims) reacted only with indifference when hearing of this book, we all got a nasty impression when we saw the face of Rushdie, for we thought he looked quite satanic himself. Bottom line, Muslims who get a proper education and are not plagued with lots of emotional traumas usually prefer enjoying a cup of coffee on a terrace rather than going off stabbing people...while western countries preach tolerance at home, and often spread death and destruction abroad...not so tolerant at all, just a facade.
I've had a copy of SV for years and never got around to reading it. Maybe it's a difficulty with cause and effect but as you said @16:45 (or something to this effect) I tended to think it was a marketing gimmick. I have the same suspicion about the shooting at the Rush set Maybe it's just the sheer flood of books and ideas out there that at 72, I'm a little overwhelmed and find it difficult to get the right focus on so many influences. I'm not blaming Rushdie for the attack on himself. There's a line in the Gospels where Jesus says "be happy when you are persecuted". Maybe because it means someone is paying attention to you? I'm tending to think the world IS the mind of God thinking about everything it can all the time. But it gets confusing. BTW - very nice synopsis. I was going to do a longer search but you really hit the spot somehow. Dave Chapel probably never cleaned a public restroom in his life because you really can't do what some of his jokes said. I'm gay and didn't find them very funny because they weren't at all plausible. And I have a problem remembering the modern terms for the old situation of gender identity. It took me decades to become more accepting of being a "Poof" and then they got complicated again.
I am not a reader but wanted to read this book and I couldn't go forward. Thanks for this summary, it gave me the idea of what it is. You talking about relevant topic of violence was awesome .....I am sure we would have been great friends, take care 👍👍👍👍
This has everything to do with religion. It was the prophet himself who initiated the very first such attack when Ka'b ibn Ashraf,a Jewish leader mocked him and he proclaimed "Who will kill this man who has hurt Allah and his messenger ?".......a young follower ..Ibn Maslama obliged! Likewise,,when a young poetess ,Asma bint Marwan , mocked his claim as a prophet ,Muhammad called for her assassination.....once again another follower obliged. So this is not new .It is not that long ago that a Christian student in Nigeria ,Deborah Emmanuel, was accused of blasphemy and was stoned and burnt alive. In some Muslim countries any criticism of Muhammad is a criminal offence........and since 9/11 there have been over 40,000 Islamic terrorist attacks!......not surprising really as Muhammad did say " I have been made great through Terror!"

The Satanic Verses is an outstanding piece of literature. I've read and enjoyed it three times. By the way, the incident of the "Satanic verses" is not something Rushdie invented from whole cloth; it is based on a true historic controversy that actually erupted long ago in history.
Great video, thanks for explaining the Satanic verses and agree about religion controlling masses..and one thing from my childhood which came up when was what it it was the rhyme... "Sticks and Stones may brake my bones but names will never hurt me" Think that's the point. Words written or verbal may be offensive but if we want to be civilised we shouldn't resort to violence. in a perfect world they wouldn't but it's easier said than done and that is utopia and we are all animals also one last point about Satanic verses being a "fictional" book my point would be isn't all religion all about "stories" of recollections?? so isn't it all fictional or is that getting too deep?
They believe that muhammad is God...this is why they kill Not loving the prophet (Allah bless Him and give Him peace) more than all the people P75.2 The prophet (PBUH) said, None of you believes until I am more beloved to him Than his wife, child, self and all other people…. This is blasphemy against the one true God of Israel and Christ Momo is telling his followers to love him with all their hearts souls and minds…is Muhammad God…is Muhammad Allah….this is in the sharia….you muslims believe in shirk..period The Book of the Reliance of the Traveler
it's not fictional at all it's so deep the writer is smart, the way he pointed out each part of the Islamic history and the war btw the two main groups specially Iran and Saudi wasn't a joke. at least for us who knows what he means and also he attacked Christian faith ,but was soo deep with Muslims. all that anger wasn't from nothing but still killing someone is way too much 😔
I remember when he wrote the book. I went right out and bought it. And for the life of me, I cannot find what is so offensive. It is a conversation between two people in a plane crash floating down to their deaths on Earth. I loved the book, and it got me to buy several of Salman Rushdie's books. Be careful with Isl*m that its fundamentals itself are deadly to Human beings.. Foundations of Isl*m = Mohamm*d + Koran were in troubles from the very beginning.. completely opposite compared to "universal values" and other religions
No way of life to learn about.. unless fascism and death cult "under religion coat"
I've never believed in light vs dark or God vs Evil.. but because of Isl*m I realized Evil is real.. but don't be afraid, if Evil is real then God also is
“You will know them by their fruits"
********
Let's start from the Main figure of Isl*m that became their moral compass
Mohamm*d. . .
Mohamm*d was molested Little Girl Aisha since She was 6 y.o.. and having Sex with Her when 9 y.o..
no surprise Aisha was barren and unable to gave birth.. We know little girl who get molested since very young age could get defective on Her genital (in this case: Aisha)

Reference from Sahih Hadith
Mohamm*d Married Little Girl Aisha when 6 y.o and having sex with Her at 9 y.o (Little Girl Aisha still play with Dolls at that time)
Sahih al-Bukhari 5134; Narrated `Aisha

Horrible Sexual Abusive since very Young Age made impact in Aisha's life also.. She has nasty fantasy to breast feeding adults according to Sahih Musl*m

Back to Moh*mmed
Not only a pedophile also Moh*mmed was Illiterate, Imposter, Rapist, Mutilation Psycho, Abusive Husband, Human Trafficker, Racist Slave Trader (Taking Black Tribes As Slaves and said They're Evil because of dark skin color), Robber (Caravan Raider), Infidel Hunter, Warmonger, Murderer Mastermind (attempted 43 assassinations to respond critics, Killing >700 Jews in One Day, Killing and allowing rape to many Captives of Arabian Tribes He conquered), etc
According to Koran Moh*mmed also has "16 privileges" that 10 of them are about His Greedy of sex & lust *You can easily find out the details on UA-cam (explained by Christian Prince).. booty of war bigger sharing comes to Moh*mmed (Golds, Jewels, Slaves, Women, Cattles, Ransom, Jizyah)
=======
What kind of a Human Being Mohamm*d was.. clearly He was The Greatest Criminal ever, even Normal Animals are not pedophile & no other Cruel Man in history could pass Him
And yet many people still believe Mohamm*d become the greatest Human Standard ever lived according to Koran (Surah Al-Qalam 4)
We know Moh*mmed was a bad Sinner & Many Error Facts in Qur*n, so The Isl*mic Foundation are fragile
That's why Whoever leave Isl*m will get death penalty according to Mohamm*d command in the hadith, many Musl*ms still practicing this kind of Death Cult rules till this day to maintain Isl*m existence through oppression to Its Own People & Other Religions
Now You realize ISIS and Other Isl*mic Terrorist Groups exactly reflects Moh*mmed ways of life in the past
Think again..! And Stay Away From Isl*m..!
it amazes me when people say it has nothing to do with the religion Islam without asking why Muslims do go on attack and violence when their religion is criticized.
Great commentary.I am a retired London taxi driver and it reminds of the time I took a lady home. She guided me to an area and I noticed an armed policeman sitting on a stool.I was curious and made a comment to which she replied ‘oh it’s a deposed Soviet leader’ and she elaborated and left.I was curious and I knew she was being evasive so I drove up to the officer questioned him and he answered that he was protecting Salman Rushdie but he was away.I have never revealed the location because I know that religious fanatics are consumed with vengeful hatred.
What is the most offensive thing of all is the man who attacked him is only being charged with second degree attempted murder, meaning it was a crime of passion and not premeditated. Everybody knows that is a lie.
The Quran is also very contradictory
Look for example to what Quran teaches about Christians .
Parts it describes them as followers of the truth Ahl Al Ketab
Then later it describes them as Kufar that need to be fought.
Muslims like to take advantage of this Quranic circuses in their relegion to defend Islam.

Right. As a Muslim,I can confirm. No mercy to Goebbels and his descendants.
But you just confirmed that indeed the Koran was not perfectly preserved since some verses were removed.
The Holy Quran is the absolute Truth. This is why it is the central attraction of Islam haters.

Excellent video. I've always been curious about this book, and I must get hold of a copy. All the outrage massively increased its sales.
Islam, on the other hand, was raiding caravans and settlements during Muhammad's life, and spreading by its political and military power.

A great video! Was really broken down to where I could understand it! Going to check out more of your videos.
Very good analysis! People get offended by ideas they fear. That has always been so. Fragile egos hide behind barbed wire and machine guns.
Islam teaches hate, violence and discrimination towards non believers and women. Christianity is love your enemy and treat everyone equal
Yes, after your description there really needs to be no further discussion because you hit the nail on the head.
Thank you for explaining Mr. Rushdie's book & your perspective on his attack. Good analogy to the Oscars slap incident.
@@dm5129 It was meant as a joke, but it was taken as an insult.
It upsets me too what society has become. Sad. Not that I'm innocent but at least I regret my mistakes.
Very good speech. You talked a lot about will smith and thus deviated from what is in satanic verses
Exactly.
What was the need for that particular example? With SO many Karens around?
Unfortunately Muslims are required to interpret the Quran as the literal word of God. There are harsh punishments that are prescribed for those that don't. The Islamic world did not have an enlightenment, which is why religious texts and practices are badly in need of legislation in secular white countries. Particularly when it comes to practices like infant genital mutilation.
What? I will tell you, The Truth, that's what.
👍🙏
You are seriously deluded.
I am currently into this book, I am liking it alot, I will have to read it again
These apologists for pisslam are the most dangerous people on earth 🌎 at the moment.
They ignore the daily murder and rape of CHRISTIANS and jump to the defense of muslims.

That's not true for the Bible The Bible is the word of God preserved by the only true God.people may doubt that's their job.The God we have in the Bible is actual and living one.
Thanks for making this video I completely agree
I don't think it's to with holding on to power. I believe it's because of their own insecurity
For the average believer maybe but the Islamic elite throughout the centuries have certainly used it to hold power, and likely believed their own lies.
My good friend, stop portraying your ignorance on Islam. It has everything to do with the religion of Islam!!!!
Thank you for fearing from Islam
It is a book! A fictional story! Fiction!
The Quran does not explicitly prescribe a worldly punishment for blasphemy. It only condemns it and warns of severe consequences in the hereafter. I will share a verse from the koran that tells us how to handle those who mock our religion :
4:140: "He has revealed to you in the Book that when you hear God’s revelations being rejected, or ridiculed, do not sit with them until they engage in some other subject. Otherwise, you would be like them. God will gather the hypocrites and the disbelievers, into Hell, altogether."
As you can see, no violence.
Islam ( and his prophet) has to accept criticism! It is a political, social ideology mixed with a religious aspect.

Fully agree!
bullshit ❗
Well said
I hope, the book, doesn't keep you awake at night. :-(
nonsense
offending ideas is taboo , and UA-cam does not like to show the dislikes for a video.
It is very difficult to facesave the Prophet, so they just kill.
I am not a reader but wanted to read this book and I couldn't go forward. Thanks for this summary, it gave me the idea of what it is. You talking about relevant topic of violence was awesome .....I am sure we would have been great friends, take care 👍👍👍👍
It's a good book! I just finished it.
Brilliant explanation. Love from Pakistan
What a jahil nowhere in the Hadith does it say he just mocked him wow I love how you hide that part
Yeah how tf do wanna win a war by giving roses terror means extreme fear he strokes extreme fear in the enemies hard aka terror so that's why he says he has been made victory by terror so do the us when they bombed japan making people really scared you're not doing a great job at trying to prove you're point you don't even know the defenition of terror also I made a playlist that Refutes every single claim an islamophobe made about Islam also these are reaction videos so they let islamaphobes like dovid 19 aprostrate profit and coward princes speak first then show sources to refute them

Yeah you do have to begin from the top first video till the bottom last video second watch the FULL video before commenting you guys always do that which makes no sense
Words written or verbal may be offensive but if we want to be civilised we shouldn't resort to violence.
in a perfect world they wouldn't but it's easier said than done and that is utopia and we are all animals
also one last point about Satanic verses being a "fictional" book my point would be isn't all religion all about "stories" of recollections?? so isn't it all fictional or is that getting too deep?
Great video🙏🙏🙏
Stories don't have to be fictional🙄
They believe that muhammad is God...this is why they kill
Not loving the prophet (Allah bless Him and give Him peace)
more than all the people
P75.2 The prophet (PBUH) said,
None of you believes until I am more beloved to him
Than his wife, child, self and all other people….
This is blasphemy against the one true God of Israel and Christ
Momo is telling his followers to love him with all their hearts souls and minds…is Muhammad God…is Muhammad Allah….this is in the sharia….you muslims believe in shirk..period
The Book of the Reliance of the Traveler
it's not fictional at all it's so deep the writer is smart, the way he pointed out each part of the Islamic history and the war btw the two main groups specially Iran and Saudi wasn't a joke.
at least for us who knows what he means and also he attacked Christian faith ,but was soo deep with Muslims.
all that anger wasn't from nothing but still killing someone is way too much 😔
