I just listened to the studio version, and there is definitely a little bit of pitch correction here and there, but Rob Thomas is legit! This era of pop was starting to fray around the edges a bit more with the autotune starting to gain traction but was still mostly clean.

The 60s was great, 70s too. 80s was OK but had some amazing stand outs. 90s was the same. The 2000s was hit after hit. The early 2010s had some decent hits but ever since about 2014 its just been consistently downhill.
