Great video... however one repeated inaccuracy in the beginning. He was measured as 6'9" in college and is incorrectly listed as 6'7" in the NBA. At the combine, he still measured 6'9" in shoes which matches what he had measured earlier. He did not lose two inches and is a forward capable of playing either small or power. So, in reality, he does qualify as a 6'9" small forward.
When evaluating players one of the things I would look for is competitiveness. Does the player try hard on both sides of the court. Does he possess any intangibles to help you win. Kevin just wasn't that in a Knick uniform. Sometimes Knick management have neglected this and have many misses in the draft. Lately things are improving.
Some of these young kids are being forced into the league early because of hype- some well deserved, but with bad advice and misrepresentation. Going to a franchise like the Knicks doesn't help worldly talent if your not mentally ready. Their one of a few teams that draft the same type of player in the lottery every single year. Imagine what that does to a 19 or 20 year old prospect! Constant change isn't good for everyone, especially if your not given the tools and proper development to succeed. Hopefully this kid keeps working hard and not let his struggles conquer his God given gifts.
Damn, that shot of him getting his lunch took really says it all. You gotta take that shit personally in the court and respond in your career. Oh well. Time will tell.
As a Knicks fan I was so disappointed with this pick. Knox has no motor whatsoever, he really doesn't look like he belongs in the league. I wanted either one of the bridges boys. Just another wasted pick by the Knicks.
