In 2k, a young Josh Smith was an all star caliber beast when I used him at the 4 on a fast paced team. This video did a great job explaining why he didn't develop as well in real life as he did in video games.
What frustrated me about him especially when he got to my Pistons was he took way too many jump shots especially when he still had the athleticism to blow by his opponents and get buckets. He was still one of my favorite players during his prime even had his Atlanta Jersey good times.
As a Hawks fan, believe you me, that's the exact thing that caused us to "turn" on him. No one was sad to see him gone in the end. Overall he was still a great player for the team, and he had some All Star (snubbed) seasons for some exciting Hawks teams and will always be overall beloved... but by the end everyone was very ready to move on.
