    Version 1.02 should be available early next week. It contains a few minor bug fixes and a lot of new features. I will also be releasing my second MasterClass video along with the new release as it covers many of the new features. Hold tight.

      Any chance the chords show up in the notes section instead of clicking through each step just to know which notes are assigned in each chord?

    • @PaultheMusicMan
      @PaultheMusicMan  2 місяці тому

      @@cyb While that is certainly a great idea, and I could make this an optional choice in the Settings, I'm not quite sure how that would be notated since the chords may not be recognised chords or random chords that are only part formed. I need to give this some serious thought.

    Clear instruction on a feature rich application. This video alone has sold me on purchasing the app. Looking forward to digging into it. Let’s make some Synthwave! Cheers from Utah!

      100% agree. In fact, there is no wasted breath on these - every single screen, every detail of what Paul describes is relevant - -these are really jam packed with info and no fluff. I learned the hard way a couple times, when I emailed Paul with a question, only to find out he covered it in a video already (sorry Paul!), so now I pay proper attention!

      @@edzielinski That was back in the day when David wasn't doing such a fabulous job on my manuals, so I had to ensure everything was covered in the videos. With such good manuals now, you keep me on my toes so I don't get sloppy!!

      @@PaultheMusicMan You’re fine Paul. They come out great. Straight to the point and with inspiring ideas. One little observation - you say and the subtitles say ‘Note Jump’ but the video is actually showing ‘Octave Jump’. It’s approx. half way through 👍

    Top notch! I'm already having a lot of fun with this app, and the more I learn, the better it gets. I'm really looking forward to more details on using gate, repeat, divider and modulation, and also running two instances in parallel. Great work, Paul!
    *P.S. - Kudos to Greg Riker for the intro and thanks so much for all of the topic shortcut summaries that you provided on so many 4Pockets YT videos - they were tremendously helpful. 👍

      I'm holding off on the section about chords as we have a big update coming soon which expands on this and makes it even better. The last thing I want is to put out a video that is immediately out-of-date. It's worth waiting for!!

    Okay this app is amazing. I'm just stratching the surface. I do have a question: is there any way to direct the midi traffic to a specific channel? Right now, it seems like it only talks to channel 1. It would be a handy option to have, so that I can use this wih groovebox hardware, or anything else that has more than one midi channel per hardware device.

    • @PaultheMusicMan

    Thank you for this great tutorial. I have so much fun with this app, compliments for your work. One question: Is it possible to set Rate 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 etc. notes per step?

    • @PaultheMusicMan
      @PaultheMusicMan  2 місяці тому +1

      You can't directly set a speed, instead use the divider lane to split a note into 2/3/4 etc.

    • @PaultheMusicMan
      @PaultheMusicMan  2 місяці тому

      @@eross21 Technically yes, using either an exposed AU parameter which takes a pattern number or by sending CC54 with a value of the pattern. In the next version I've added additional AU params so that each pattern can be triggered seperately, and that is coming soon.
