    Thanks for the info. Just curious though what is the benefit of running the TV sound/video through the mixer if only using as a monitor. I plan on setting up a Karaoke system using two stereo speakers, mixer, wireless mics, laptop, and TV.

    Great to see you giving some love for the FX6v3+. I checked your channel a few days ago, hoping you had an in-depth video on it but couldn't see one. I bought it anyway and I'm waiting for it to arrive but it's reassuring that you mentioned you like it. My girlfriend and family really like karaoke but their little Bluetooth kit sounds terrible and has some lag. I decided to upgrade the setup and this little mixer seemed perfect! Hope you can do a full video on it.

    Until now, I didn't know what ARC meant on HDMI. I'll have to keep that in mind in case I need to output via HDMI for whatever reason (like external monitors). Thanks.

    using the easiest most simple method along with roku streaming, the pa speakers that the mixer is outputting to sound very muffled. is this the roku settings or could it be the method of use? will a optical cable or hdmi arc fix this ? when inputting sound through something thats not my tv

    What is that blend Knob in the mixer

    • @kettnercreative
      @kettnercreative  7 місяців тому

      The blend knob is for recording. You can blend what you’re hearing from the computer with what you’re doing on the mixer.

    I did everything correct but couldn't get a sound to my av receiver. I accidentally came across a setting for enabling fixed PCM in my av receiver and got everything working. Sharing it here in case someone else doesn't get the sound because of this reason.

    XLR input or quarter inch input got better quality ?

    • @temp26j724-i
      @temp26j724-i 2 місяці тому

      What quality?
      Connector durability?
      I assume you're enquiring abt Sound quality?
      It's the SAME as long as they fall in the same group of signal eg Balanced vs Balanced, Mic Level vs Mic Level.
      If you are comparing a TRS Balanced Line Level over 30meter VS an Unbalanced XLR Mic Level over 30meter, which will give you better (cleaner) audio quality?

    • @temp26j724-i
      @temp26j724-i 2 місяці тому +1

      If in the context of this video, XLR INPUT are typically MIC Level which are very sensitive to signal presence.
      At no time you should be connecting the Output of yr A/V devices which will typically be at the Aux, Line or Headphone Level into a MIC Level INPUT i.e via XLR Input.
      This will Surely & Ultimately lead to Signal Overloading which will lead to Sound Distortion.

      The easiest way is to notch out the EQ until the feedback stops. But you can also stop feedback with good speaker/microphone placement.
