Hi! I wanted to do pops & bangs on my TT 3.2 mk2 but when i called 3 software tuners, 2 of them said that they wont do it on my TT because i have stock cats. They said that the stock cats will fail soon after because they cant handle it and for that you need performance cats. I have at this moment custom exhaust (after cats) with resonator from SCORPION (4 pipes at the end) and it sounds amazing. Back to the tuners. I did stage 1 remap and dsg tuning for my TT. I wasnt happy when i saw on dyno before the remap 238 hp (with custom exhaust and carbon air intake) taking in consideration that the car has just 93k KM done.. After the remap it went to 252, which should be stock but these engines are known for not holding the hp. They tuned the DSG too (different gear change moments, rpm limiter to 7000 and it changes the gears more... hmm... smoothly). So, at the end i paid 800 euro for the ecu/dsg/dyno. 14hp did cost me 450 euro ^^ (not worth by the way, but i knew it before). On the other hand, the DSG tuning is worth it. The car just drives so smooth now and it doesnt reduce the gears so much. Coming back to the topic. Are the cats changed or stock? Any problems sinds then?
About kats, are stock, and I have warned customer that pops and bang can be damage them, but he doesn't care :) About tune, 14 hp on that N/A engine are a good result!
@@protuning_it I've read your answers but when it's in German it's not always easy to understand even with a translator 😂 On another video I saw that you have a Magnaflow rear silencer. You replaced it with a Friedrich Motorsport exhaust right ?
