Nice one
Lol.
The only reason to know about Düsseldorf (besides the recent chess tournament maybe) is because Heinrich Heine was born there. He died in Paris though, so not much of a mistake.
That's what I thought, the name is German, since when it become French territory 🤧😆
Ill be honest. We can give the french Düsseldorf in exchange of the Elsass.

The stare today was one of a pondering nature, the juxtaposition of Levy staring at the sun, as if to wonder if he may ever reach stardom so bright, is truly fascinating. Sparkle/10.
Taking Nordirbek's bishop is like shooting John Wick's dog
Hahahahahhah
Bruh 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love how Levy with chess booming started to explain more details for newbies, like here, introducing QGD for those who don't know even first three moves. Man truly is THE chess teacher of Internet!
The entire aim of weathering a sacrifice attack is to avoid mate and consolidate while maintaining a material lead. This game is remarkable because black did most of that, but right when it looked like he was going to make it to safety, he finds himself just barely short of the required material to hold off white's final endgame push to victory.
Love Levy's understanding of his audience
I agree, I think that that's a big reason why he's been so successful!
I hadn't played chess since the PC I had Chessmaster on crashed, he got me interested again.
@@ahhhgoolagoon he found his talent as an entertainer and teacher. He found his niche. Plus he is successful because he shows his passion about all areas oh his industry. I mean you know the Saying you have to love what you do. Well it looks like he does. That’s what I’m saying

The ROOOOOK
I’m more or less unranked at chess but when he moved the pawn down at 4:10 after he freed the bishop, I think it was to force whites hand.
If he doesn’t respond to that pawn moving forward, it will take the pawn to its left and threaten the white tile bishop.
If white doesn’t take the bait, then his bishop isn’t locked in anymore. It’s a win win and it forces your opponent to possibly fumble their defensive line.
your an amazing teacher when it comes to running over these games, you give tips, you go over and do what they shouldve done, and you make it really easy for beginners. Thank you man.
Today's delivery was out of this world. The mixture of insight, humour, and ad lib was superb. And kudos to the players to giving us such a game.
Whenever you open your mouth, it’s like, ‘Woah, somebody took too many drugs this morning.’
"THE ROOK" will always be a classic line 👌
That box of chess pieces was the most meta sequence in this video
I had the opportunity to visit Dusseldorf in France in 2016. It was simply breathtaking. In May I'll be visiting Paris in Germany,, I hope the place is just as magnificent as Dusseldorf.
When your visiting Paris, I would recommend going to Amsterdam in Germany as well

3:19 just taking a guess about the d5 move in the opening. Maybe black wanted the light square bishop blocking the queens view of the d pawn. it could make coordinating the pieces slightly more annoying for white. just a guess.
Edit: I just watched 5 seconds later and he basically said exactly that but way quicker.
I think the point of d5 was to prevent white d5, gambiting a pawn to block the fianchettoed bishop and deflect the knight with exd5 cxd5 Nxd5 or just Nxd5 so that white could then more readily pawn storm the kingside eventually pressuring h7 with Qh5 and just leaving the tension between knights on d5 and c3.

Let's gooo you may reach 600 by 2024 🤩
How is it even possible to be as low as 500 elo
@@nikolajhartzner9264 You play the game once a month therefore you don't implement the techniques you see in the videos in your own games :)
My elo boosted from 400 to 450 I can't be stopped 😎
Bro I had my biggest plateau at 1000. Went from 997 to 1006 to 1036 to 984 to (several more such bounces in 1000) to 1101 to1075 to 1103 to 1084 to 1124 to 1103 and all this happenedfor over 1.5 months
Help 1100s are much too good!
There was a "Greek gift" involved on "h7"... personally I like to put the bishop on "d3" exactly to sacrifice if possible for an attack on a castled king. if you can open the "h" file for the rook it's even better. But often I just loose pieces and eventually the game. When "they" do it it's like a James Bond movie for white. When I do it it:s just "50 shades of hope for mate" :D
Crazy crazy game. Having insight to know the right moves is great, but having the guts to play all those sacrifices and defeating the urge to compensate the point imbalance is a whole 'nother thing. Props to Levy also. So hype🎉
