    WONDERFUL VIDEO!! Thank you so much for revealing this. And thank you for including the video of the song your husband wrote. It is more than just 'true', it's also beautiful, fun and bring's glory to God. I WILL be checking out his channel. In fact I am going to be doing that right after I send this post because I want to watch his video again for his song LOVE so I can share it directly on Social Media and to my UA-cam Favorite Songs Folder.

      @@WitnessForJesus I'm already subbed! Was the first thing I did before listening to his song Love again. And I'm about to listen to his second song. REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING THE THIRD! May Jesus continue to bless you and your family. Keep revealing the Watchtower's deceptions, that is important. BUT be careful, I'm speaking from personal experience. After getting out, when I decided to do research on the 'organization' I lost sight of God. And I stopped placing Jesus first. All my energy went into researching this antichrist organization and there's nothing wrong with that as long as it doesn't consume you. I was even going to do a channel similar to yours but I'm glad God stopped me because first off I wasn't as mature spiritually as you are. Not at that time, and it would have turned into something ugly, I believe. And second time I could have spent in prayer and reading the word and listening to the Holy Spirit was instead directed to researching the Watchtower, deciding what I was going to write about them, thoughts about 'destroying the watchtower' and warning, warning, warning'. There's nothing wrong with research, nor warning people of an evil but when I had decided that I wanted to do that Jesus barely got any of my focus. And it was because of Jesus that I escaped. So keep revealing the deceptions of the Watchtower, but KEEP YOUR ARMOR ON AND POLISHED by keeping your main focus on Jesus and the word of God. I'm not really 'too worried' about you though. You have been blessed with a Christian Husband who has been moved by the Holy Spirit to write Songs for God's glory. There's a reason the musicians were at the front of the battle, it was their job to glorify God in song and to keep the soldier's focus on our Creator. That is still their duty today. So as long as your husband continues to write songs for the Glory of God, I'm not going to worry that your focus will be taken off Jesus, especially after finding out that you help him with his video. Again, may God continue to bless you. Another warning, well actually it's more of a strong suggestion. Keep in the word. No matter how busy you get, or how many things you want or need to do make it a rule to read the Bible, preferably every day, even if it means getting up 1 or 2 hours earlier than you want to. The word of God is both our protection, our shield, but it is also what teaches us how to reach others. Knowledge of the word is how we learn what is deception and what is not. Okay at the risk of sounding 'mushy', I love you both.

      Thank you so much for your message and your reminders. I agree that sometimes it can get consuming. On this channel I do videos when I can. There is literally no end of topics I could talk about, but I have to restrict myself to only doing videos when I'm mentally, spiritually and physically able to. I think where I fall short is that I tend to go down rabbit holes when speaking to JWs online which takes up too much time. I want to stop really because I reach more people on here than I do speaking to individuals. But then again I get lots of messages and have certain individuals who I have helped (or referred on). Anyway, God is WONDERFUL and GREAT and ALWAYS TO BE GLORIFIED. I love him so much. Much Christian love to you xxx

I've been meeting with JWs for 10 months now and keep encountering the argument that "they removed Jehovah's Name" and I ask who? When? What proof? And they say "there's lots of research". Yes. That of course doesn't mean that the God of the old testament YHWH is "evil" it simply means that people have used the made up name "Jehovah" for their god (some think that's Lucifer). :)

    The divine name definitely appears in the Old Testament and it was widely used. Therefore, it’s sudden disappearance is inconsistent. In the KJV at Mat 22:44 you’ll see LORD (in capitals) which indicates the name of God was originally in this quote. Plus it doesn’t make sense for Jesus to literally say ‘The LORD said unto my Lord’ it sounds ridiculous!
    Also in the KJV you’ll see alleluia (or hallelujah) about 4 times in Rev 19:1-6. This means ‘praise Jah’ (or Yah). Jah is an abbreviation for Jehovah. So, the divine name is imbedded in hallelujah (I’d imagine every translation has this!). Translators lacked knowledge and clearly didn’t know what this means and they left the name there. Just by studying a KJV you see that the divine name has deliberately and criminally been removed from the New Testament!

    • @WitnessForJesus
      @WitnessForJesus  3 роки тому

      The last book of the Hebrew Scriptures was written around 450BC. This means that nearly 500 years had passed!! A great deal can happen in 500 years. According to historians, the removal of the name from the Hebrew bible began around 3rd century BC, which means that over 100 years after it was finished, the Jews began their tradition of substituting the name with marks or "adonay".
      This means that your assertion that it's not consistent is wrong. Since there are 500 years between the end of the Hebrew bible and the beginning of the Greek bible (new testament) and since we have DOCUMENTED evidence that the name was already being changed in the Hebrew bible at that time, it indicates strongly that the Jews had the tradition of not speaking the name.
      Jesus used the Septuagint, a fact attested by the fact that his contemporaries quoted from it throughout the NT. The Septuagint similarly has the name removed, although there are some copies with the name.
      I'm not sure but you say Jesus quoted "the Lord said to my Lord" which is Psalm 110:1. I don't recall him quoting this. He did quote a lot so please inform me if you have a bible verse which says he quoted these exact words.

    • @stealthy1086
      @stealthy1086 3 роки тому

      I already stated the verse where Jesus quoted Ps 110:1, it’s Matthew 22:44, you’ll see LORD in capitals, so the translator of the KJV is clearly indicating that God’s name should be there in Matt 22:44.
      Anyhow, it’s a moot point you make as God has given us permission to use His personal name (Ex 3:15). So you should be happy to see God’s name whenever it is justified to be used, as it’s making known His name and it’s what He wants! Did you know God’s name is even on the Moon, in the Sea of Tranquility? I’ll leave you to research that one! Ciao!

    • @WitnessForJesus
      @WitnessForJesus  3 роки тому

      @@stealthy1086 The Septuagint uses KURIOS in that verse and we know that the 1st century Christians used the Septuagint as they quoted directly from it.
      “The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, until I make thine
      enemies thy
      footstool.”
      eipen o kuriov tw kuriw mou kayou ek dexiwn mou ewv an yw touv
      ecyrouv sou popodion twn podwn sou
      "ho Kurios" is in place of YHWH and tw kuriw" in place of Lord (ADONAY in Hebrew).
      Jesus may have said the Divine Name here. He may have followed custom and simply used "Kurios" which was traditional. Or ADONAY, which was also traditional for the time. Even if he used the Divine Name, the writer of the Greek scriptures quoted the Septuagint when quoting what Jesus said...... and the earliest manuscripts (all in existence) do not have YHWH in them.
      So regardless of your personal view, you cannot INSERT the word in the text where is does not appear in the manuscripts. This leads to the INCORRECT insertion, which is what the NWT have done in many, many verses, such as Romans 10:13. Context shows that the name Jehovah should NOT be in that verse but they insert it and distort the text. Paul was quoting Joel ABOUT JESUS. That is obvious.

    • @stealthy1086
      @stealthy1086 3 роки тому +1

      Witness For Jesus - You are incorrect. In KJV, Joel 2:32 - LORD is written in all capitals (when written in capitals means, it means the name Jehovah), there’s no other type of Lord mentioned. So it’s Jehovah not Jesus that Joel is talking about. You may think Paul is talking about Jesus, but as he’s quoting Joel who’s talking about Jehovah, it’s a safe bet to assume Paul was not mistaken!
      I haven’t mentioned the NWT. I’m only talking about KJV. In Matthew 22:44, LORD is written in all capitals. The introduction to a KJV says that LORD written in this way is to replace the name of God or the Tetragrammaton, WHERE IT PREVIOUSLY WAS PRESENT! So, when they translated the KJV in 1611 or whenever it was, whatever they referenced it from, it had the name Jehovah (or equivalent) at Matthew 22:44, not the title Lord. The KJV bible explains this! It was there in the New Testament, probably in use for centuries before the KJV translation!
      Whatever crime happened of removing the divine name from manuscripts from 1st century BC to 3 century AD, was obviously corrected from then by scholars! They must of saw it necessary to reinstate it! The KJV’s own definition says the divine name STILL EXISTS in the New Testament!

    • @WitnessForJesus

      @@stealthy1086 Because Jesus is JEHOVAH. Nevertheless, the word Jehovah should not be in Romans 10:13 because I'm fully aware that the Tetragrammaton is in Joel 2:32, but for clarity (for those who cannot grasp that Jesus is Jehovah) it should say exactly what the TEXT SAYS which we have in existence. You cannot add to the bible what does NOT EXIST in the text....... the text says LORD we write LORD. Not "Jehovah".

      No. The Hebrew translation of Matthew - info here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shem_Tob%27s_Hebrew_Gospel_of_Matthew
      DOES NOT have the Tetragram in it. It has the Hebrew word which translates as "the Name" (ha shem). Also it is from the 14th Century. Since the manuscripts we have from far earlier do not contain the name, this is therefore not good enough "evidence" that the name was ever there. A Hebrew person could have produced a translation in the 1300's and just decided to add the word "ha shem" instead of the Greek "Kurios".
      So if this is the "manuscript" he is speaking of it does not support the addition of the name.

    Well this is a stupid video. You take one paragraph and try and disproof what was written, but you ignore all other writings. What convinced me that the Divine Name are supposed to be in the NT, is that the writers of the NT, quoted from the OT. The Divine Name appears almost 7000 time in the OT. Look at the following. Joel 2:32 - And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of Jehovah shall be delivered. Now look at Rom 10:13 - for, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. The scripture in Joel uses the Divine Name YHVH. So why would Paul write the same passage in Romans, but it refers to Jesus??? Jesus always referred to his Father as more important and bigger than himself. There are a lot more examples like this one. And just so you know, The NWT Bible was not the first bible that used God's name Jehovah in the NT.

      The "Lord' in Romans 10:13 refers to the Lord Jesus. Romans 10:12 refers to Jesus as well.
      The JW's have flip-flopped many times as to who the "Him" refers to in Romans 10:11. Huge mess.

    The "Church" Or "Rome", the World Power, created the main Division when they "deified" Christ & subsequently created the "Trinity" Doctrine.
    They tried to deny & separate the Father JHVH YHWH, the God of the Hebrews, & create their new "Son" God in which to Warr & Expand & Consolidate their empirical power.
    The Hebrew Scriptures (JHVH YHWH Father) are apart of the bible together with the Greek Christian (Jesus/Son) Scriptures...
    & the significance & Importance of the Hebrew LAW should not be overlooked by christian if they don't want to be considered "LAW/LESS".(matt 7:21-23)
    Here's a question... Was it common for scholars to go against the "Church" or were the majority of them influenced by "the Church" doctrines?
    Would you enjoy being called a "Heretic"?

      Also... Apostle Paul, the main christian scholar, worshipped the Father as God & the Son as Lord...
      Rom 1:9-For "GOD" is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of HIS SON, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers. KJV
      Php 2:11-And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of GOD THE FATHER. KJV
      1 Cor 11:3-But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the HEAD OF CHRIST is GOD. KJV
      Doesn't even need the Tetragrammaton to recognise the importance of the Father, the God of the Hebrew Law.
