8 oz gourmet blend mushrooms
3 dry shitake mushrooms
½ cup barley
2 liters water (0.52 gallon) or any stock of your choice
1 large onion

2 celery stalks
2-3 garlic cloves
2 tbsp avocado oil (or any other non-fragrant oil)
¼ tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
½ tsp thyme
