Hello, I own an LG monitor 75hz, but I don't think I have the fps option to display the monitors fps. Do you know any good software for that? Thank you, this video is quite clear, almost impossible to find any video explaining fully how to fully enable Freesync even in 2018. Cheers from France.
urbanelemental yes, but rtss shows the game's framerate. You talked about an option directly in your monitor to show the displayed fps and I don't have it on mine to see if Freesync is actually working :) it's at 9:48 I think.
Yes. Sorry, that's a hardware feature. Beware over-effort. :| If you see ~75Hz output on your onscreen (probably better to review the graph after) and the game 'feels' good: then you're probably there. I've spent WAY too many hours tweaking and I can tell you that for the most part, between 60Hz and 75Hz, you can tell if it's working. Simply put, if you seen your frame times dip down from 75Hz but you don't experience tearing, stuttering or hitching, FreeSync is probably working.

Yes! Riva Tuner Statistics Server (RTSS, app on the right). Will put an onscreen display. RTSS comes with MSI Afterburner. Lemme know if that helps.

Hi there, i have an AOC ag251Fz. I set freesync off in AMD , but the OSD menu still says freesync, how do i turn it off? please help!
The OSD menu on the monitor is independent of the GPU. So the with the GPU set to OFF it shouldn't be using FreeSync.
