Just a quick video unboxing and taking a look at what's included with the DJI Mic 2 Single Transmitter kit. Hope some people find it helpful.
Also, recorded audio for this unboxing using a DJI Mic 2 transmitter unit (with 32-bit float internal recording) and video using the Osmo Pocket 3.

Umm, you figured correctly! Lots of people like myself are going to buy this smaller package and wanted to see what comes in the package! Thank you! This was PERFECT!
Exactly the video i was looking for. Thanks. 👍
Is there room in the pouch to fit a second transmitter?
tenía muchas dudas, pero ya me las has resuelto, compraré este kit y si el día de mañana necesito el estuche, lo compraré junto con un micrófono blanco, gracias!!!
great job... thank you.
I want to buy this microphone, in the simplest option where I only receive the transmitter... my doubt is whether the intelligent noise cancellation works without the transmitter... what I think would be possible was to record the sound and in editing sync it with the image... that way I'll have the best of this microphone?
Good video. Thank you for making this video.
Thanks !!!
Thanks for this appreciate. Apart from not being able to have 2 people, is there anyone other downside to just having one transmitter?
Well I mean I guess technically having two gives you a backup in case you lose one or it runs out of battery, but no. One TX works just as well as two as far as features and quality are concerned.
Awesome video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Can a second mic be added the the dji mic 2 (1 rec, 1transmitter) combo
Yes. If you buy a DJI Mic 2 transmitter separately (or have one from getting the DJI Pocket 2 Creator Combo) you can connect it to the DJI Mic 2 receiver. Or, if you need two mics, just get the dual mic combo which comes with two TX and one RX.
Nice unboxing video! Did DJI send you the Mic 2 kit or did you buy?
Thanks! And as far as I know DJI has no clue who I am haha so I had to order/purchase this like everyone else - another reason why I went for the TX + RX version to save a little money.
No magnetic clips? Because in expensive version it is their
Great question! Sorry that was an oversight on my part - the magnetic clip is already attached to the back of the mic unit.
@@DigitalTechReviewsTips Thank You sir last question how to transfer the internal audio recording to the mackbook ? Can you make a video on internal recording and how good it is ?
Thanks for video from İstanbul.
My pleasure! Hope to visit there one day.
@@DigitalTechReviewsTipsWe are waiting.👍🏼
I got the $350 kit & my charge cable was only a single USBC to USBA! WTF
I picked up the charging case later on and TBH it is SUCH an easier experience for charging multiple mics and the RX unit. However, would be nice to see DJI include the dual cable as well so people have the option to pack just a mic, RX and dual charging cable if they wanted to travel light.
One serious downside of the mic is there is no stereo recording on a single unit. For stereo it's essential to have a combo unit
I think the term “stereo” is sometimes thrown around too much without people understanding what it is/does. In a lot of situations (especially when recording someone’s voice) recording in stereo actually isn’t ideal because you want the voice to be heard and don’t particularly care if it’s the same volume on both the R/L channels. (Remember, you can also always take the mono track output from a single mic and pan it left or right while editing to make it seem like it’s “stereo” and match the subject’s position onscreen)
For recording ambient sound, stereo is often preferred but really, it depends a lot on the situation.
Not sure how advanced you are with audio (you might be reading this like “Yeah DUH I know all that”. Just wanted to put an explanation in my comments section cause there are often a lot of people who watch my videos that might not fully understand what stereo means.
