One thing a lot of people don't realize is that African greys actually have cognitive language skills. They have the ability to not just repeat words, but understand their meaning as well.
@ C Lescell .....No they don't have cognitive language skills. It is a smart bird in the world of birds but it is not smart in the true sense of the word. Someone says it is pointing with its foot when it mentions squirrels but it isn't. It is a typical body language of parrots to do that. It is just mimicking, not thinking up language. Anyone who thinks it is anything more is not in full possession of their own brain....(so on that level, the bird might be smarter than those people...maybe). He is no more thinking a thought and verbalising that thought, than a computer does. Both need human input first. I don't think we will have to wait that long, the more we domesticate animals the faster they learn, much faster than human evolution I figure about 5000 years is an appropriate time span for them to develop the parts of the brain needed for speech comprehension and troubleshooting skills to develop enough for them to be an intellectual contender, we have really sped up the natural processes.
I love this Parrot so much. Most just screech and only have a few words. This is the smartest one I’ve ever seen. You can tell someone has really been talking to it 🥰

Your Einstein 🦜 is not only a swell actor/ entertainer, but also a scenarist: he seldom repeats himself (as rarely as possible) and all the pieces he memorized are... memorable (interesting). He inserts in between some birdie trills, and the pauses in between are perfectly chosen!
This is such an amazing example of what African Grey's are truly capable of and is exactly why I love mine so much... Their intelligence level is off the scales, mines name is Rains Fall (like the Native American from the RDR2 game, as I loved that name and am Native American myself) and he loves to sing, especially the song "Love Me Tender" by Elvis and then for some unknown reason he picked up the lyrics of "Rockin Robin" and has his moments where he thinks he's a DJ because he mixes the Love Me Tender and Rockin Robin together lol.... Such amazingly talented/intelligent and beautiful parrots!! If you notice they pick up the tone of the voice that teaches them those lines which is what causes so many different voice impressions from them.

To fly just must make a bird happyer, be more relaxed in the cage, sleep better, handeling being alone, locked-in, better.. Flying must be wonderful.. I feel so sorry for inclosed birds who's not allowed to fly, not even in a basement-corridor, for example!! People who keep birds locked-up: take the Time and Dedication, and make the right place, so he/she can FLY!! They always come back to you, when you treat them well, give enough food, good, healthy, tasty food! (I have watched "BirdTricks", alot, with JamieLeigh, Capri & David, from USA) 😍❤️🙏🦜🦜🐦🐦🕊️🕊️🐓🐔🥚🐣🐤🐥

How is this even possible?? So fascinating! I love how he uses his little talon like some sort of Shakespearean actor. Just amazing!
He has such an abundant vocabulary... very intelligent... that is because of you and your husband ❤
Wow. My first time hearing this parrot saying "God bless you". And he mimics sounds.
I love how he has this memory and clearly remembers the things said to him even the sounds that would have been along with the talk . Omg like he clearly is seeing the events that happened and remembered everything .
You can tell how loved and full his life has been by his vocabulary💞
My dad had an African gray when I was a young child. I was to young to appreciate how awesome these birds are. They're so incredibly smart and social.
Oh my god, when Einstein said "talk to me" my heart sank because of how much it sounded like you!
I am completely amazed. This bird is so smart and can pronounce words better than most humans I know
I love parrots, regardless if they don’t understand what they are saying. Their echolalia is very entertaining.
Truly .. this bird is more articulate than many people I know.
That boy has me laughing, best laugh I've had for months, a wonderful bird!
The way he mimics the sound of water is insanely amazing
Yes!!
Just when we need it-another Einstein "ray of sunshine" comes our way--Thank you, Marcia and Jeff, for sharing Einstein with us.
I love it when he says it's okay it's alright don't be scared he's so sweet love you Einstein love you guys to done a wonderful job on that Birdy💓💋💋🐦
Thank you! 💗
You're welcome my Einstein you're so funny and make me so happy I just love you have a good night💋💋💤💗🐔🌽🚂❌⭕🌟
Einstein Parrot m
He's like a therapy pet he just knows he needs to comfort people
Greys are notorious feather pickers. This is a well-adjusted, healthy bird!! You are obviously a great bird mom!
That is astounding! Einstein, you are a very special little guy! I bet you don't know how many people love you and think you are a genius birdie! 🦜❤️ 🦜
His sooo gorgeous I luv parrots,, they give so much luv, joy n laughter,, good companions❤❤😂😂
He said go fly, then flapped his wings , don’t think he was scared just acting out flying. What an awesome bird!
Omg he is just too much!! I wouldn’t be able to do anything else, just chat with him all day 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️
Same. Especially when he looks at you and says in a grandma voice, "talk to me". 🙀🥰
Mine goes on rants like this. He also has conversations with us. He has a vocabulary. He loves new voices. Listens intently. Love our Oliver.
He didn't seem to be scared to me at all.....he simply said "FLYIN" & then flapped his wings. Made perfect sense to ME!!! lol Awesome bird should be on like a kids show or something!!!
He not only copies the words, he copies the exact sound of the other person's voice! - Amazing. Also picked up on door closing sound, telephone ringing, etc. He's like a tape recorder not just repeating words.
His raspberry blowing 😂😂
I love when he says God bless you that is so precious I’m in love with him
A visit with Einstein never fails to brighten my day!! Thank you once again, Marcia Mouse and Go-See-Jeff for sharing your gem with us!!
We LOVE YOU EINSTEIN! COOLEST BIRD EVER! BIG FLUFFY HUGS.
Evolution is amazing. Give these Birds another 5 million yrs, and they'll be ruling the Planet.
Nice video.
Bird's already are rulers of the planet because they have been around since the dinosaurs.
He points with his claw when he says..Look at the squirrels.
The ringing phone is crazy, and the sound of water, what a super smart bird....😊
I love this Parrot so much. Most just screech and only have a few words. This is the smartest one I’ve ever seen. You can tell someone has really been talking to it 🥰
You are so kind, Thank you!
This is absolutely amazing. He's pronouncing these words without the use of lips...just think about that for a second...
I was thinking about that ~ truly😷
Parrots don’t have vocal cords, they push air out their trachea to produce sounds.
@@fionaadams4694 so birds can produce sounds that we here with near accuracy... WITHOUT VOCAL CORDS AND LIPS!!!...
@@mewxtherealitygod4706 yes lol
@@joeyjohnson4826 .... Reject humanity. Become birb
If I had a bird like this one I would never be lonely any more ❣️
He's like the Rainman of parrots-his tone and the way he repeats things, like "drink of water." It's mesmerizing.
He's more like the Reimann of parrots.
We had one during our childhood. He repeated everything our mother would say. Including when she got angry...lol he would tease the hell out of the cats.
I've never seen this before. I'm freaking out. This is incredible. Wow...
i like that you can tell how loved he is every day :) and that he really loves squirrels!
I love the way he says EVERYTHING! He is so amazing! Can't stop watching his videos! ❤🦜❤💖💖💖🤗🤗🤗🥰🥰🥰🎄🎄🎄🙋♀️🇺🇸🤝🇩🇪
This bird can clearly words like a human 👍🏼❤️❤️❤️
The sound of drinking water and the telephone ringing...😂❤
But, the monkey sounds and then saying "monkey", I died LOL!
He is impressive!
After reading so many comments I saw this one at the exact moment it happened. Made me laugh so much. Timing is funny like that.
That's my anxiety lifted straight away I could listen to him all day 💖
Was having an incredible stressful day then I believe GOD put Einstein in my path to watch and brighten my day! Well he really did so sweet! GOD Bless You Einstein and your human family, and other family members doggies, cats, etc.... Love and Hugs! 💗
How sweet, love it when he says GOD BLESS YOU, the raspberries with sound effect was great.
He is so smart 🤓 I just love his mannerisms and the way he mimics other animals and he loves to whistle
Einstein always impresses me with how well he pronounces S's! Every bird I've had has struggled with that particular letter.
I've noticed that, as well. He accentuates the s's. I think it's a trait that may be unique to him and he is so smart that he knows how to do it. He's a special bird on so many levels! He cracks me up!
I love it when he says subscribe you said it better than I do LOL
Jacqueline McGuire ‘Subscribe to me’. Haha!
I have an African grey, and she regularly tells the dog to "sit", but she has a slight lisp. Funny part is the dog listens to her, though.
What a gorgeous, smart boy!! I've always loved birds. He says water then makes the sound of water! Hes beautiful!!♥️ God bless you, sweetie!!
Considering the size of his mouth and throat, it's amazing how well he enunciates each word, and how human-like he sounds.
Einstein is very smart😍He speaks so clear and his sounds are awesome too😊
My AGT. loves to listen to Einstein. He whistles at the video
What a talent!! Enjoy watching him. Have a good day!
Einstein is what has changed my mind on African grays. And actually considering adopting one. I’ve been all about wanting a cockatoo but Einstein has changed my mind completely. He’s such a smart smart bird
Imagine inheriting this bird from a deceased parent and have it talking in their voice forever.
I was seriously just thinking that...my dad passed away at the end of December and I would love that...
Great idea if I ever get one I will do that for my children and let them know were I got the idea from . Peace
Very interesting both awk but comforting thought
I would love it I have two cockatiels 1 who’s 29 years old the other is 30. But they are the last ones in my huge aviary outside they only have copied my whistling not words, over the years they had other birds instead.
My aunt had one that when he talked he sounded just like her husband when my uncle passed away it upset her so she ended up giving it to her niece my cousin.
The dog sound 😆. I like how he said "GOD bless you" too. Smart bird. Just like the owner.
I had a hamster named Einstein. This hamster cleaned up his mess in the cage, responded to my voice when I called him, used a a little toilet, had unbelievable balance and intelligence.
What a feathery chatterbox.
How I’d love to have a talkative bird around! I just love this video. My grandmother was great with teaching her parakeets to talk.
There is no doubt he has way over ten times more words and phrases memorized than any other bird I have heard. Very little repeat also. Amazing.
I had watched a scary video and had pure paranoia after it. I came here and Einstein calmed me down after watching it. Thank you Einstein!
My sister in law and her husband had a parrot. He was so good at
mimicking voices. He would say “get the door” and sounded just her. after their son was born, he drove them crazy mimicking the baby crying. He was such a character. He had quite the vocabulary.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 That's so funny! Did they have to get rid of the parrot?
@@nicoleyap6070 no, but she thought seriously about it
😂😂😂
😂
*Einstein, says it best:*
*Good Morning, God Bless You. 💗*
*Shake shake shake, shake shake shake, shake your butt. 🤣*
😅😅
So intelligent, how he catches the chatting-mood commenting the squarrels, so quick!! How good if all bird-owners had the love and dedication that you have, owner of Einstein🙏💝😘😘🦜 I adore one african grey who lives near me. He's so very, very intelligent and also very sensitive..(I don't know much about parrots/other birds, but it seems like everyone, almost, of them, loves that "Peek-a-booh" - game, is that right?) 💞 And its so good that people now take them out for free flying, and flying inside, too!
I lost it laughing when he said butt instead of booty 😂
