@@Tufted Difference being i'm more about the hardware stuff, so coder is probably the least likely. I had a lifelong obession with all things car related, and am generally familiar with computer devices... And for electrician, well... It just pays well which just means i won't starve to death in Serbia /shrug
When I was younger I wanted to be a voice actor but I have a different job now and I'm no longer interested to be a VA but I still truly admire those who have that profession. Though I can say that I can really relate to making voice impressions of characters when I was younger.

As a kid, I wanted to be a marine biologist but now I think I would honestly be terrified to be in the middle of the ocean staring into the dark abyss lol.
@@zed6740 I mean, most people would be scared if they are in the middle of the ocean with no way to escape, that isn't an irrational fear. But if you are terrified of the ocean in general, and you cant stand looking into open water, then there are still positions as a marine biologist that would work for you. Some marine biologists spend most of their time exclusively on the shoreline, or in very shallow water. Also, its not like you are out in the "abyss" 24/7. Most marine biologist jobs are 40% field work and 60% sitting at a desk and writing. The pay really depends on your state and the demand for a marine biologist position. I can say that living in Washington state, which is one of the best states to live in for that field, the pay is worth it. I can support myself and I go to work every day loving my job.

As someone whose dream job us to be either a psychiatrist or a therapist I can agree 100% that it is absolutely true
To be honest though, I much prefer that be the reason instead of money. I am still forever angry at that in-home therapist I had when I was 13 because I became suicidal and her approach was to basically mentally torture me in hopes that I would finally express why I was suicidal in the first place. Found out later that the reason why she was pushing me and pushing me and pushing me and wouldn’t stop and kept telling me that I need to show mental health advancement even though trying to pry me open about my emotions was only making things worse, she was doing this all for money and nothing else. I don’t trust therapists anymore, but if you’re doing it because you have a lot of issues you’re trying to work through and you want to help others in the ways that you wish others helped you, that’s a very noble reason.

I've wanted most of these jobs over the course of my life and now I'm stuck between three- Voice Actor, Game Designer or Therapist. Only on of those is really a stable lifestyle, but I'm already working towards the first two so- live you dreams kids! Or leave your dreams, I'm not the boss of you

I’m 17 on my last year of high school, and have no clue what I’m going to do after this🫠I’m thinking about going into being a nurse since I don’t get very attached to people easily, can manage and cope well enough to stay sane, and I have no problem with handling the two p’s, puke and poo. Or maybe being a a doctor because I can make good money and support the people around me(my Asian parents might even forgive me lol) but the school is too long and I’m not sure if I can handle the rates of that.. Or possible an engineering degr- yeah, no. I’m very creative, I like designing things but it’s rare ti actually get a job like that and to easily make money unless working in an environment specifically

As a recent H.S. grad myself (CO22), all I can say is there is time to decide what you want to do. If college is right for you there are tons of exploratory majors you can consider in your freshman year. If that’s not the case consider a trade. I’m a botany major at my state’s (I’m assuming you’re in the US) flagship university. I could have majored in something that’s gonna make me uber rich in the future or something that would make me very happy. What I decided to go with was the in-between. Life is full of choices that you’ll have to make completely on your own, however, there are people willing to help you in the process. 😉

I would like to be a neurosurgeon; so doctor is the closest for me! I’m inspired by my personal experience having surgeries from the ages of 17-19 for Moyamoya disease (narrowing of vessels in the brain which causes inadequate blood flow). I’m keeping my mind open, and could end up in another specialty; but it would be kind of awesome to have everything sort of feel like it went

UA-camr and streamer have been my dream job for years and I’ve finally reached the threshold where my family will allow it and help me. I’m ready, sir.
I say go for it. I think its best to start it off as a but of a hobby and if you start to make revenue which I believe is 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch hours(streamer might be different if your doing like ex. twitch). When you consistantly make money for a while and enough money to be in a stable position of comfort where you can make enough money to have a living. Then you can go for it for real and if it doesnt go the way you want make sure you have a backup so if it flops you have something to do other than youtube. I dont know how old you are but make sure to have skills for a job other then youtube. So if your family supports you go for it.
