      Gilera, singular, they were never imported to the US officially unfortunately. They are in the single digits surviving here.

      Get a Hexagon EXS/EXV 125/150 engine, these are liquid cooled, and fit with the original Zip 110mm drum wheels, another option is to get a drum brake M05/06 or drum/disc brake M07/08 engine, convert it to drum brake, and use a Gilera Typhoon XR 125 rear wheel with a 140mm drum brake, although these are very hard to find, the M06 from a Hexagon LXT 180is the most powerful engine (20,4hp) with the tallest gears (13/30x13/41) ever produced by Piaggio,

      @@MrDramka They both have the same ratio, primary gear 13/30 and secondary gear 13:41, however they are not interchangeable between the EXV and M06 engines, the Hexagon EXV 150 engine with the original 130/70-10 tire will travel 1,37 meters per rotation of the rear wheel, while the Hexagon LXT 180 will travel 1,45 meters per rotation of the rear wheel because of its 130/70-11 inch rear wheel, the extra power that the M06 engine (20,4hp) is producing compared to the EXV 150 engine (17hp), is more than enough to compensate for the taller final drive ratio, which is a direct result from the 1 inch larger rear wheel/tire diameter, in fact I used a Malossi 15/41 secondary gear from a Runner FX 125 to compensate for the fact that I used a Gilera Typhoon XR 125 rear wheel, with a 130/70-10 tire on my Zip Sp 98, because it has the same spoke design and 10 inch wheel diameter as the original Zip SP 98 wheel, although the width is 3,5 inches on the Typhoon XR vs. 2,5 inches on the Zip Sp 98, and the diameter of the drum brake is 140mm VS 110mm on the Zip Sp 98.,there are only two types of 10 inch rear wheels that will fit on a Piaggio 2 stroke 140mm drum engine, the other one was originally used on the Aprilia Habana/Mojito 125, the dimensions between the rear wheel of the Habana/Mojito 125 are the same, but the Aprilia doesn't have the same backward swept 5-spoke design like the Typhoon XR and Zip Sp 98 wheels have.

    I don't see a lot of movement on the customization department , no carbon fiber parts or nothing new , what I am worried about the community for these Navis isn't growing at all , people need to come out with new stuff so people like me the have one , feel good of having options to make the navi look how we want .

    • @Scooterswapshop
      @Scooterswapshop  2 роки тому

      It takes time. Understand the main issue is Honda doesn’t even have replacement parts for these. People also need to be willing to pay for nice parts. A quality pipe is $450, carbon fiber is very costly. These are entry level bikes I don’t foresee people spending $1500 on wheels and disk, and $500-1000 on carbon. Believe it or not, to make several carbon items for a bike it’s a $50-100k investment that may or not pay out. They’re not sold in Taiwan this is why the parts cannot be made cheap at the moment
