Just got accepted to get my Master of Science at SEAS here!! I'm coming from Texas so am scared but excited :)
I'm from England and was an undergrad at U of M in the 1990s. One Thanksgiving weekend I'm sat studying in my dorm room, in a practically empty dorm, when there's a tap-tap at my door. It was a girl from Texas who also lived in my dorm, who I had seen around but didn't know well. "I reckoned you'd be here", she said. "All the Michigandians have gone home for the holidays, but it's too far for us to go home. So I brought you some raisin bread". What a sweetie. :)
