  • This really is as good as it gets. This really is the ultimate in small water, or skinny water Murray cod fishing. Casting Murray cod lures into a creek that is merely 3 feet wide in places and catching one of Australia's largest freshwater fish, well small versions of them anyway.

Hey Robbie, Just caught my first cod; lure casting from the bank, thanks to you. It was small, but that was fun. I've done a tonne of trout fishing over the years, but when I was younger, cod fishing was sitting in a punt for hours with bardy grubs. Boring AF. But casting lures from the bank into skinny water at cod is a different ball game. Never would've known if not for you. Cheers

Brilliant footage of numerous hookups from the Cod and decent-sized Redfin. Shame the weather turned foul though. The comment early on about using the lip grips reminded me of the one time I didn't do it and the Cod swam away with the lip grips in its mouth. Tough way to learn, but I have never done it since.
