- My Aston Martin DBS is back out of hibernation! The 6.0l v12 manual hasn't been on the channel over the winter having been in storage but now the new Michelin tyres are fitted, the sun is out and we've got people to see!

I'm always blown away with the public reception when driving my Aston. The general air of approval and positive acknowledgment never gets boring and is very much a great part of Aston ownership. Car ownership shouldn't really be about how others feel though but about how you feel about the car, however universal approval will always rub off on how you feel about it and how it makes you feel when driving it.

Couldn't agree more, my 09 Vantage always gets nods of approval and still turns heads for its looks and its sound.

I just bought a '07 manual DB9 & its supposed to arrive at the house this Sunday. I absolutely cannot wait to experience driving this through town & out on the country roads 😁

At first I was sad to see the different number plate on GT3, but after hearing the reason I am glad you choose to change the plate. Stay safe man
Yeah I’m sure it’s all good - I don’t bring many of the other cars home that often, kept elsewhere but the daily is in and out all the time - anyway, time to bring a plate back I think!

Take value and statusout of the equation and I would take the dbs for a weekends driving. You can't get near the TDF on any Road anywhere in the UK, its like having a powerboat on your local canal

With every new video i "rediscover" this channel for myself. It's not like I didn't watch or enjoy the other more scripted, professional stuff, but this right here is the content I want to see! Your biggest strength und unique feature on UA-cam is your personality, your character, and that doesn't shine so much when you talk about numbers and history, it shines when you have fun, when you interact with cars, people and locations and that's what I (and I think many others too) come here to watch with you. So glad the Vlog is back!
That intro! Mesmerising...love it! And this content is so much better now! I have to admit I switched the channel off for a while but this is so much better & I’m hooked again. It must have been difficult during the 3rd lockdown getting the content but being let out & about again has really improved things a lot 👍🏾
I genuinely love Caffeine and Machine, I'm fortunate enough to only live 20 minutes away and loved going there pre Covid. I've never wished a business have success more than them as it's such a great place to hang out, I've seen such a varied array of cars and just a great place to chill. Well worth a trip :)

Everyday is better with a DBS and content from Mr JWW. The DBS wheels fit the car so well and have always been a great match. They wouldn’t work on other cars as well as they do on the DBS. I am usually a 5 star wheel person but actually prefer the wheels on your DBS to those that 5 star wheel which were available on the volante.

Did I scroll through the list just to see the DBS , who wouldn't. I have always said the Aston Martin is, in my eyes one of, if not the most beautiful lines of cars ever designed . That being said I just about fell out of my seat staring at the Porsche GT3 , that shade is absolutely stunning , contrast with the matte black /grey lettering and my attention was locked instantly . The funny thing is, the Aston always reminds me of both my female Irish Wolfhounds, absolutely beautiful to look at, but an astounding amount of power under the hood that people are always shocked by ...
Astons are such a privilege to own. A ferrari can be a bit flashy (not that i don't love the tdf) but an Aston just oozes class and sophistication.

Thanks for sharing your love for the DBS. I have an 08 Casino Royale RHD 2+0 Manual as well. Have had it for 10 years and I still can't stop looking at its beautiful lines. Does your DBS have the 2.0 clutch? Mine is the 1.0 F430 clutch that came with the early DBSs and it's a bit on/off and makes a squealing sound when not engaged perfectly at launch.
I think the DBS sounds so much better than the TDF. The DBS sings, while the TDF screams.

Hi James the story of the guys following you home. Glad to hear it was with good intentions. Unfortunately the same happened to my aunt some years ago she was robbed. She was shook up but other wise ok. so be on your guard. You could do with the revolving number plates of the Aston. Sadly there not road legal though.
I agree, custom plates are cool but you need privacy when you've got fame. Regular plates and tinted windows (if legal) are called for.

Hi just wondering, do you find it challenging switching from right hand & left hand drive manual cars?
I’m lucky in this industry to be experiencing LHD & RHD regularly so you get used to it. I actually quite like a LHD in UK as the proximity from kerbs and hedgerows down country lanes is actually better...for me at least 😄🤷🏻♂️
