I'm pretty sure he knows he lives in filth, but will make every excuse or reason to make it not look like a big deal. Sometimes it's a sign of depression, but he might genuinely be fine with it. However, most guests will not want to be in that place for more than a few minutes.

I had to pee out a window way back, it felt so weird. Was sleeping at my childhood best friend's house and the nearest toilet was on the floor under us where his mom had her bedroom, and the bathroom was right next to her bed. I knew there was no way I wouldn't wake her up if I went so I just opened the window of my friend's bedroom and started peeing. It was kind of a trash neighbourhood anyway

You know what a streamer room needs? A trash chute in their room that goes straight to a large garbage bin cuz if you don't deep clean the carpeted floors then it's just a nest for bacteria and mold.

@@orangeeeeeee it is not normal to breath air with mold in it, in fact its hurt your lungs in long stayings so if you let close to you mold in years you can get asma or even worse breath problems whitch affects your life in the long term... the more of a clean and shinny and with more windows the let sun come in and fresh air in the morninig you have on the room you spend the most of your exitence the better you feel and more healthy you are... if you stay like him in a room with molden cups and a stinky unfreshed and a room so black with no windows to let air in then no surpise he look so skinny and degradable... maybe he have some breath problems aswell whitch he don't let his audience to witness on stream... mold hurt people more then we give atention to it... in long term living in a house with mold in or under walls can even get worst then a breath problem ... // sorry for bad english, its my third language i learn, i am bad at writting but understand it perfectly :(

I really do feel bad for him. He wasn't taught how to care for things like this or was in an environment that encouraged a clean habit. The fact he didn't know about changing sheets is really heartbreaking.

This is the one crossover I want to see most currently, besides all the similarities between them, it's the opposites that I'm most interested in. Cr1tikal has always talked about his OCD and minimalism, contrasted with Asmon's extreme messiness, that would be a pretty interesting interaction.

He has all of this philosophy and psychology thought process whenever he's conveying a conversation or when he debates but yet he completely neglects any basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation I mean its obvious in his language that he doesn't think its a ''big deal'' it does make me a bit sad he was never taught these basic things while growing up.
Well it didn't kill him yet, he probably thinks it's fine and healthy then. Honestly I am surprised he is still alive and so slim with all the sodas he is drinking every day. Maybe his body just adapted to it and is superior at this point lol.

I can see he is a smart guy who thinks for himself but the fact that he didn't know what bedsheets are for or the plastic cutlery usage makes me think that something was just severely wrong with his upbringing. In all seriousness rooms like this are a sign of depression. I’ve had dirty rooms like that before and like an addiction it can just creep up on you. You throw something on the desk “I’ll get to that in a few minutes” then you forget about it. Keep doing that over and over and before you know it it’s a disaster area. Then the worse it gets, the more ashamed you get. The bigger it gets, the more energy you know it’ll take to clean it so it just gets worse and worse.
But I will say: finally biting the bullet and cleaning it all up feels so good. I cleaned my last depression room spotless. Even took out the bed/furniture. Got new flooring/replaced the old carpet. Seeing it like that really helped my self esteem. I’m not perfect with cleaning I still find it a chore: but I’m nowhere *near* as bad as I used to be with it. What helps is staying disciplined with one day out of the week is cleaning day. “I can do whatever tf but on Saturday it’s ALL going in the trash” or whatever. Making that a habit and sticking to it so that clean room feeling you get sticks. Cuz I’ll be damned if I let it get really bad again.

Well said. And I’m happy to hear you were able to get yourself out of that rut and bad habit. It’s why the military expects you to keep your area/room clean at all times, otherwise they’ll punish you for it, they recognized the importance of, a tidy room, is a tidy mind.

Yea I left a box of wings in my closest ONE time for maybe like a month when I was a kid. The amount of bugs that were feeding off it literally scared me for life. (The apartment building I was in was disgusting and known for having exterminators there a lot) Now I cant even be around garbage without feeling nasty it was a good thing honestly.
I left some food on a stove top for like 5 days with the lid on and when we opened it there were hundreds of maggots in it. I've never done it again lol.

I'm not gonna lie way back 2011 oe 2012 I think, I had like so many empty bag of chips that accumulated for the past 4 years. My mom stopped entering my room when I get older around 16 years old. So when I finally got a girlfriend around 21 years old, she apparently wanted to check what is under my bed, maybe she wants to check some of my secrets and yes she did found one of my secret. Because back then I use to eat like tons of potato chips before I go to bed after playing video gamess from 2pm up tuntil 8 in the morning, I only eat like a normal human being back then once a day, after that all I eat is just potato chips. I can still remember her reaction back then, and i am not gonna lie, I was really ashamed of my self, I actually was surprised that there is like is so much trash under my bed. I know its bad but I didn't know it was that bad. My girlfriend was close to my mom so she told her my secret and mom makes me clean it. I can remember that the smell is actually not disguting they actually still smell like regular chips because I never left anything when I throw away bag of chips under my bed, I like chips a lot. I am actually quite surprise that at my age of 32 years old, I am relatively healthy I don't have any kidney deases, but like Mcconnel says it is just RNG my cousin had the same love for chips and now she is having a dialysis 3 times a week.

Just goes to show how massive problem depression really is, this guy said he's never changed his sheets, last time was when miz visited, It's good that he's starting to make changes now but letting go seems to be the biggest problem for asmon, his house is still a complete mess, there's so much more he needs to do, if he truly wants to change, in my eyes i see nothing but wasted potential, dude is healthy, multi millionaire, in his early 30's and chooses to live his life like this. One of the biggest tell-tale signs that someone is depressed is not only their room being similar to this, but also the excuses they will make (and legitimately believe). Sure this could happen to someone who's not depressed and genuinely doesn't care but the combination of those two things makes it obvious. Depression causes MAJOR lack of motivation, to the point where yes going to a trash can 5ft away can be virtually impossible.

9:50 you could also get one of those Japanese futon mattress- the shikifutons. They're meant to be on the floor and you can put them away if you need to. If you want a regular mattress to last for a while, don't put it on the floor.
