I've been brainstorming so much about how the artist needs to be deep rooted in a deeper purpose.. it cant just about about the talent and fame and money. I find thats why alot of musicians/singers/artists are unfulfilled even after years of success. And it actually really changes the perspective of artists... because artists are actually here to change the world and be a positive influence on the masses. even more than politicians and "big figures" i think artists truly have the power to change the world, if only the artists know what their purpose is.
Had to subscribe!!! I’ve come across this page a few times and I always leave with so many notes. I was actually looking for the channel, now that I found it, I’m not letting go 😂😂😂😂
After years of trying to do it alone, I finally realized that it really takes a team. Ego's often make things more difficult. However, if you can get everyone to see the importance in each role equally it will boost the morale and bring along a much more desired result.
As an artist that has met different types of artists, many putbtheir art out with hopes of getting out of the struggle. They dont want to be broke and are traumatized by poverty, which doesn't matter what type of artist. If you dont have a mission beyond money, you will lose yourself in the compliments, the stage, etc. Artists must have a "why" as well, which is what I was pronoting on my page, but I got frustrated with the mentality. Not wantonf to learn business, too emotional, too distracted, etc. I'm not a well-known artist, but I've performed, I have my certificate in entrepreneurship, and I sometimes coach other artists. It a double edge sword.
Man this is amazing real life experiences, thank you both for bearing it all and showing up with a smile for us artists 🙏🏽 I’m Gigi Noche. New artist on the rise in Canada ❤
this is so insightful as an underground artist/upcoming female rapper (artist name: CASSAVA) thank you for the video! 🫂 I’ve desperately been looking for ways to push my brand and my music out into the world. I started performing live at open mic nights this year! Hopefully while I establish a foundation I’ll get lucky and work with a great manager 🙏🏾 thank you!
the work load for managers that we don’t see, + the lack of label support. i’m studying music management in school as an independent artist and they don’t teach us lessons/gems like this. thanks for the video, definitely helped put my future into perspective.
