seriously needed to see this, alot of the time what stops me from "doing more" is money lol. Sometimes I feel like I over think the cost vs the outcome 🤣
This hard bro. Ive been wanting to do a blade runner style video. i wanted to just make a platform via blender then digitally create the mylar walls in post, but im loving this as it would take me way less time from shoot to final product.
Thanks for sharing the process bro! I do have a question. I see on the directors monitor it says you are shooting in 47.95 FPS and is at 144.00 shutter angle. Was that to get the slowed down feel you were speaking about?
@@Emersoncoy so the 47.95 while the song is sped up 2x speed is whats needed to match when slowed down. The 144 shutter angle was to sharpen it up. Its like 120 on the shutter instead of 100 for slow motion.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥I just have one suggestion or thought what if you used a green screen on the table and maybe VFX Sun rays or something lol since it was like a summer feel? I don’t know just some thoughts but the reflections is sick as well maybe more natural
no bro that’s how it was supposed to be THATS YOUR VERSION OF YOUR OWN ART just saying if this inspires someone else which it will maybe they will actually read some positive comments and try they own version as you said 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🎄
Great video! For my taste, you went a little bit with too much motion on the background pattern movement. It’s a little nauseating and dizzying when one looks at the image. But this is my opinion. Looks cool anyway just I would’ve gone much less with very little fluctuations of the Mylar. One other note, I think the FX6 looks much better when one shoots ProRes raw. There’s a little less mushiness and contamination of the color too. It’s a lot cleaner image with a little more texture than when shooting internally compressed XAVC.
@@memphismadetez good question. I go alittle warmer (even if its a tad) on the white balance and expose properly. Middle grey is good but sometimes you need to expose a little different. Maybe I will make a video about this.

This is sick! Great job! May I ask what kind of backdrop the blue did you use? Was it a standard blue background paper or reflective? Thanks.
@@TishawnFahie I used a Savage paper background. It's non reflective.

Thats a great idea to explore. I wanted to do something in camera with no VFX. I do want to get better at that so I would love to try it.

@@willvazquez3218 Thanks for your insight! I appreciate your time.
I have a Zoom H6. Is that better than a field recorder? If not, why? Thank you.
@@ManOf1000Vocals h6 is solid but the h6 essential is better
i film music videos as well... how do u color grade for dark skins on fx6

Interesting, first I’ve seen a music video shot vertically specifically for IG
@@starterpvck2043 yea its not my favorite as I prefer shooting a full video and then doing a cutdown for IG. Def a fun thing to explore tho.
