Terrific video, a marked improvement over the naval battles from the Brickington series, I like the historical details, reminded me a lot of the Hornblower series of books.
Thank you! It was nice to go back to my roots a bit with the theme but using my current techniques, even further back than Brickington with my first video "Battling, rafting and comandeering" following a similar redcoat vs bluecoat battle. I've read a lot of Hornblower and Thomas Kydd recently, so glad you enjoyed the attention to historic detail where possible :) Thanks for the feedback!!
My god, he is back, GOD SAVE HER AND HIS MAJESTY’S ROYAL NAVY! RULE BRITANNIA, BRITANNIA RULE THE WAVES, BRITONS SHALL NEVER EVER SHALL BE SLAVES! And Great Video, it’s so realistic and shows how the Royal Navy did the battles.
Haha, it was nice to go back to naval battles but with updated techniques on my part! Maybe Brickington will have a cameo in a future episode... I wonder what he's up to these days? Probably being sent on a rediculous mission by that Admiral! :)
It's on my list of films to make! I've got a couple of other bits i'm working on for the channel right now, but once they are done I'll crack on with it :). I have something quite spectacular planned for them. Glad you're looking forward to part 2!
@@QuackingFilmsGreat so far! I will hopefully get something out this summer. Working on two films at the moment but very slow progress. How have you been?
@@COMMANDERFOX31 Awesome, can't wait to see them when they are ready! I'm good thanks - my first child is due in the next week or two, so I was pleased to get this released before my life becomes busier! Sure I'll still find time in the future though! :)
@@QuackingFilms Amazing! Congratulations! You must be really happy! Hopefully this won't be your final animation, many tend to quit after such great achievements. Do you still use Skype?

Nearly 30 years! Sadly I was slightly too young for the original Black Seas Barracuda, so the new Pirates of Baracuda Bay set is of particular excitement to me!
Glad your enjoyed it! I wanted to reflect some of the danger particularly for those below decks during these battles, so plenty of fake blood achieved that I think! I'll keep you in mind for next time I need voice actors :)
You have to continue this you could do like a naval battle between a enemy fort and it could be a marine attack accompanied by sailors and officers with the enemy firing guns at them and the ships firing at the fort 👍👍
the Torso from the old gouverneur at minute 1:36 eg.. with which colour product have u painted the back? it looks nice! and which lego-number is the torso from the officer next to napoleon at minute 0:24v
HI, I think this was a decal I downloaded from "The Great Pirate Torso" Library on Eurobricks 🙂. The Captain's torso is from PoTC Barbosa as a privateer 🙂

I liked this humorous captain of British vessel even when his men died. Very great battle.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!!! :D
Someone’s been watching masters and commanders far side of the world
Someone has! As well as Hornblower and reading Julian Stockwin's Kydd series! All highly recommended 👍
@@QuackingFilms Yeah I was thinking horn blower I must thank you for make ng the brickfilm as accurate as you could.
@@QuackingFilms Hornblower was amazing
I like the blood be involved. Makes the battle seem more real
Glad you liked the effects! I wanted to make it feel really dangerous in the heat of battle!
This is the best Lego stop motion I've seen, great work man! We definitely need a series!! Liked and subscribed

Oh my god I did not expect the blood! Gory dude
Sorry for the lack of warning! I wanted to make the cannons genuinely terrifying for those unlucky enough to be before deck! Sorry if it was a shock!

The music around 1:40 reminds me of TABS, Totally Accurate Battle Sim
Idk either the menu music or one of the levels

No idea - more would be lovely, but thank you to everyone who has watched it :)

How long have you been collecting lego pirates for?
Nearly 30 years! Sadly I was slightly too young for the original Black Seas Barracuda, so the new Pirates of Baracuda Bay set is of particular excitement to me!
Agreed
Although I didn't know that the original one existed until recently
This 'Brikish' Captain had both the "weather gauge" and the "weather gods"!
Lucky Captain! We shall watch his career with great interest!

Get your surgeon tools. Pulls out axe.
Reminds me of Hornblower
2:04 this man saw his crew get massercd and still is smiling
The chaos of battle has all kinds of effects on people, clearly!
Entertaining but I felt angry whenever the blood stuff got on the LEGO minifigures because as far as I know they are stuck like that forever now
No minifigures were harmed in the making of this film! (it washes off!)
Where can I find the captain for the brickish navy’s torso
Hi, it was Captain Barbossa's Privateer torso from the Pirates of the Carribean Fountain of Youth set. I think it's my favourite torso ever 🙂
Ight thanks
