Good vid but why did you almost kill bob the robber? He is from the best video on UA-cam, your police chase part 3, still love the video and hope you do a police chase part 3 where the police guy comes back, or does this take place before that series?
This is incredible! It was so suspenseful, thrilling, and funny that I got totally sucked in to it. But I had to appreciate the artistry as well. Not only did you do all these amazing stop motion effects, you also somehow did all this professional looking camera work (through photos?? How?) and the music and voices were a perfect match. Well done on this huge achievement!!
Thank you for this lovely review Mithuna! 😊 I'm happy you found so many aspect of the film enjoyable 🤩 I think you will enjoy the behind the scenes video... when I make it 🤣
What makes this such an amazing brickfilm is that I can't even figure out how he pulls off some of these shots. This is artistry, with so much detail in every shot. Each character had their unique story inside the narrative, with such light but perfect voice acting. Amazing work!!
I absolutely love this. One of the best pirate brickfilms that I have seen. The part with the two figures flying off screen directly into a small "behind the scenes" clip was a nice touch.
Don't you just hate it when you try to animate and all of sudden those pesky minifigures literally fly out of the set? The one thing (along with many things) that I like about Hamster Productions is the prop and set design. Scenes require wide open shots which then requires large scale set. And it takes awfully long time to build everything. Like come on just look at that sequence at 14:04. As said, the set design isn't the only thing I adore. The animation speed is just on point. Not too slow, not too fast. The choice of sounds and music all support the visuals, going hand to hand. The decision of not having much dialogue is well planned. No need to talk, just let the visuals took place. Show, don't tell. We'll shall wait for the next adventure with great interest :)
at 13:24 i honestly thought i was looking at an instruction book for a second such incredible animation and the music really helped pull it all together into an incredible production
Being your subscriber for seven years I gotta tell, Hamster: I don't care what anyone says - this is your crown jewel of animating and storytelling so far 👌🏻 Joy from watching any LEGO Pirates movie is incomparable to the feeling after witnessing this one. Kudos to you, bro, you've done it again, and thanks for additional worthy 15 minutes of my life🤘🏻
At 6:09, I just noticed how the Captain from the Kraken video survived! Must've been found or survived back to shore, only to be highly commended for his gallant acts in attempt to snuff out pirates, and ultimately faceoff a kraken. It seems he may have even been promoted to an Admiral of some sort.
I have to say.. this is seriously one of your best brickfilms to date. The animation alone is a huge improvement, I love it. You never fail to impress me, more than most other brickfilmers out there. You came back with a huge bang, and it’s awesome to have you back.
Your Lego stop motion films are the ones I grew up with. Now I’m 20 and I’m happy to see that the channel is not dead and you continue to produce this amazing videos. Don’t stop and become bigger, you definitely have a talent💕
for all old viewers, the pirate of police chase is with the crew you can even see his laughter at 0:42 a cool edition of old times. the *lore* the police chase 1 2 and 3 happens after that he is detained with the rest of the crew and finnaly with the same clothes the pirate/ prisoner appears one more time in this epic video were it shows how far hamster productions has gotten :)
There were multiple moments that made me go for the Like button, only for me to realise that I had already pushed it. Throughout all your films you've managed to inject so much character, and this one is no different. It's amazing really that with all these big set pieces your animation is of such a high standard, and filled with as many details as it is. I cannot say this enough: very well done!
As a sailor who sails in a laser, I LOVE THIS! You made this video nostalgic, but also detailed with the sailing mechanisms you made into this video. You made it perfect!
Excelent ! I especially liked the part at 11:16 , where the soldier has walked to wall and has lean on it, to see what is happening...that is superb detail.
Best brickfilm. My family are long time fans of brickfilm, not just Hamster but Michael Hickox, Alexander Studios and all the rest. Others may debate my opinion but all things considered, I believe this is the pinnacle of Lego animation to date. Best part of all was the foley. Whoever is designing and editing sound deserves an award. The animation is top notch, even the music selection is excellent and timed well. The script brings action, drama and humor and there are so many subtle details that beg for another view to catch them. The pipers even brought a level of emotion unexpected in this medium. Congratulations on a job well done.
You should know what a treasure this video is to our family. We come back to it every few months with our (now) 5 year old. After maybe 30 watches, we're still finding new things that delight us. My current favorite? Unibrow guard getting his bottle revenge. Just wanted to give you a legit Thank You, Sir. Amazing product. Cheers!
This is absolutely fantastic! As a dabbler in the stop motion art myself, I am always very inspired by your creations. In a time when many animators have unfortunately resorted to VFX trickery and snappy editing to make stop motion look "cool", you have lost none of your magic. The story is captured so precisely in each image, it just carries you along on the journey effortlessly. This felt very akin to Captain Blood aesthetically, a film that I love very much. The duels in particular were very Errol Flynn esque. I had a great time watching this and look forward to watching it again and again...
This is one of mine and my sons favourite videos ever. We often watch it together. He is 4.5 and is inspired by this video and the behind the scenes one and he has a lot of lego and pirate lego and likes to try and recreate it all! His impression of "ready the guards" cracks me up and i love that he is so inspired to create by what you have made and thank you for creating something enjoyable for me to view alongside him ❤
For all this hard Work and the love for Building Blocks i feel in every Scene , deep respect. Lego didn't make Pirate Series for Years because they think they are Out. Not realy everyones Opinion?!
I absolutely loved this production. Stunning in all aspects. A behind-the-scenes video would be incredible. I would love to know how long it took, and how you were able to keep the lighting so consistent. Great job to everyone involved. 👏🏻
I noticed a few callbacks to previous episodes: the lady and the boy from the kraken videos were both there, and I believe the captain in the kraken video is the governor here, also the pirate crew and the prisoner from the 3part series,so these are either Easter eggs,or this is all in the same universe,
No, a lot of other stop motions animators have made stuff this magnificent and better actually. Not to downplay how good this is, but don't downplay how good all the other creators are.
@@TheChawnerMyster yes really. The focus shifts, the little details in the background like saving flags. Its all so much work and IT pays off. Its great.
