Hey! Thanks a lot for making a UA-cam video on my team. You were one of the first person I watch on UA-cam when I started to get into VGC so kinda unreal to be on the channel.
Happy New Year everyone! I was on vacation the past week and took a few days off to rest and recharge but it feels good to be back. I hope you all have a great 2023 and thanks as always for supporting the channel

Not super practical, but I think that Delibird Sylveon is hilarious. Delibird has fake out and tailwind, so you can blow up murkrow and use tailwind on the next turn with focus sash.
Hey Aaron! I'm super happy to say I got to Master Ball Tier for the first time ever last night with my own team! Funnily enough, I faced this team several times and after getting pub stomped by it, I figured out a way around to beat it! Thank you for your content as always man, much love.

I always tought VGC had lot of crossover skillwise with ccgs in general. Teambuilding is much like deckbuilding and when you play you have to try to read what your opponent's game plan as well as what they want to do from turn to turn, you have to take rng into consideration, learn to play to your outs, etc.
i was experimenting with beat up + rage fist for easier raid encounters for the special high star events, since rage fist's power never goes away apparently, even if annihalape dies and is resurrected laser in the battle. Annihalape is kinda bad for raids but he's such a killer in doubles
The philosophy of this team is really cool: Have a broken proactive strategy, then just fill out the team with the most powerful and versatile Pokemon in the format.
I tried mismagius skillswap levitate onto slaking and electric tera type with bulk up, slack off, drain punch and protect (leftovers) to create the unkillable monster sloth lol. Also had a funs trat with surf dragapult and weakness policy fire tera type coalossal + explosion to instantly KO the enemy pokémon turn 1 lmao.
One thing I've been noticing in the last few days specifically, most rental teams that are popular are built with Open Team Sheets in mind, and so they can be kind of fragile in some respects when you DON'T know what your opponent could possibly do. I had a very frustrating day yesterday against a bunch of what felt like the most random teams where I felt like I made very smart plays and still, they did some crazy things that just left me confused, like Petal Blizzard Meowscarada next to Glimmora...
@@justinmcmullen3328 I think they wanted it because it's a special move that hits everything so it wouldn't be TOO strong, but would hit the Glimmora to trigger Toxic Spikes. It's one of like 6 (in Gen 8) Special moves that make contact. And it hits everything. I don't remember if they had the Brambleghast, but I don't think so.
@@justinmcmullen3328 Oh wait, Petal Blizzard is the Physical one, not Petal Dance... god, I hate a lot of the translated names of moves in Pokemon after so many years.
So literally just rented this team to try because I love using Annilihape and bam 4 first battles of the new season and already made it to Master Ball tier. Love this team!
Beat Up Maushold and Annihilape was the first strategy I used in vgc. Got me all the way from Beginner to Master Ball, and even got up to the top 1000s with it. Love these Pokémon so much. Also I love the new thumbnail art for this video.
Dragonite with Multiscale Tera normal (Extremespeed, Earthquake) pairs up well with Florges Symbiosis (Pollenpuff, Helping Hand, Protect). Florges supports Dragonite really well and both cover each others weaknesses.
This is a really cool idea for a team. I tried doing a similar thing at the start of SwSh with pin missile into a mudsdale with body press. It wasn't a very good team but it was really fun to play so I'll probably try this sometime soon.
Watch WeedleTwineedle’s most recent video. They featured a team with loaded dice pin missile Jolteon and rattled Tera psychic Dudunsparce w/ stored power + boomburst, with Mudsdale and Annihilape as other mons that can receive the pin missile boosts.
I've been playing Beat Up Maushold to a lot of success using Maushold + Justified Arcanine with normal Tera type and Extrenespeed. The strength is that after you set up with Beat Up, you can protect so well with Follow Me and Friend Guard
I've also been using justified Arcanine and beat up maushold but my doggo holds a leftovers and has a more bulky set + flame charge and grass tera. Obliterates nearly everything in the current meta
@@kaseywahl I don't mainly for longevity + speed boost but if the beat up stacks, its like a choice band so flame charge does tons of damage regardless. Plus you can beat up twice for the max attack if you really needed to but I just do it once with the follow me support Also helps counter tailwind teams without relying on extreme speed
I tried the same combo with a Fire Tera Annihilape (to avoid burn) early on, but ended up scrapping it because the rest of the team got destroyed by Gholdengo and I misinterpreted my failure to adjust to the meta as "this is too gimmicky". Safety Goggles on Maushold is a really nice idea. I might need to revisit the idea. My favorite duo to use so far is Grimmsnarl + Kilowattrel. Fake Out + any electric attack (I use Thunderbolt) can disrupt opposing Tailwind leads (mostly Murkrow) and from there, Grimm uses Fake Tears to let Kilowattrel blow up more stuff (after it sets Tailwind turn 2). Grimmsnarl is pretty strong itself so it gets some good mileage off Tailwind too. I don't use it with screens, but that's also an option, making it less predictable, and Kilowattrel's Competitive ability punishes pretty much any Intimidate, as well as Snarl and Icy Wind (the latter of which gets partly remedied by Tailwind too!).
I’ve been using pompom dancing oricorio and it’s so bomb with max special attack it shreads water and flying mons, pair it with volc quiver dance and fiery dance and u have a sweet combo
QOTD: Maushold + Dudunsparce!! I used the Dudensparce set from the Jolteon-Dudunsparce duo you featured, but with a beat up Maushold. Maushold still has its great utility, and can greatly boost the Dudunsparce.
Used a belly drum cetitan set with flamigo, found it really tough against that pesky crow but if you can predict the switch in and ice shard that murkrow switch it’s basically gg. Also if they start with murkrow, maushold can go ham with normal terra pop bomb on it
I'm still very confused about them adding Ice Spinner but then essentially removing Steel Roller. Would be nice to have better Terrain control. I am wondering if anyone will try Defog.

Could this make leppa berries a big part of the meta? (I mean having 2, half hp pokemon more than the other should be huge right?)
