Hi Liz. My UA-cam picked up your “bookmark” videos and I enjoy watching yours. You introduced me Ohuhu acrlic markers and I opened the link to get it. Sadly it’s sold out so I’ll wait for new stock comes. Thanks for your introduction of your materials and fun of drawing bookmarks.
Hi Liz i used to draw cartoons as a youngster but life gets in the way unfortunately, but I'm now retired and recently had my cataracts removed and it occurred to me after watching you that I'd not tried drawing for many years apart from getting my young relatives to scribble on paper and I'd then turn it into a character or thing. Just ordered some pens and sketch books to celebrate my newly polished eyes 👀 cheer's...👍👌
Oh that's brilliant - art makes us see the world with new eyes and you really have them, so it's a double whammy. Enjoy your new found sight - it's beautiful
Last June I bought a double ended set of their acrylic markers off Amazon. There is only 30 in the set, but I thought the dual end might be handy. I think my main reason I liked them was because that particular set comes with 9 metallics. I just love sparkly things, LOL. My set only came in a paste board box, and they've gone up in price a bit and replaced the box with what looks like a really nice black zippered marker case. The only other change I see is the neons seem to be pastels in the new set instead of the traditional very brights in the old set. I haven't used them much other than swatching them, but they seem to be very good quality, and the the more limited range of colors are all quite beautiful. Hope this info helps people in choosing a marker set. Oh, I also really enjoyed your bookmark video. I've just got to order some tassels and the wax, and I'll be all set!
I liked these so much I went online yesterday and got the double ended set too! I thought the thick tip might be handy for larger pieces. I might try and do a review once they come. I am really smitten with them!
I have this set! I got it and fell in love with them for the fine point that you can use for detail work. I was extremely annoyed that they didn’t have numbers and I needed numbers before swatching, that’s just how I am. So I took some stickers sheets of numbers that are meant to number pages of a journal, and numbered them all myself. It was tedious but worth the effort. I LOVE these lil guys! PS I like most of my other acrylic markers more than Posca. 😂
thank you liz. you obviously convinced more than just me. in australia their warehouse is now bare. luckily available on amazon. anyway ty for the heads up on this product.
Hullo Liz, I have been surprised by the Ohuhu markers and the way they listen to their customers and how much they have improved their marker lines! I am wondering why you did not do more on the black paper? I thought that showed the opaqueness very well, did I miss something? I have tried quite a few acrylic marker pens, but these are new to me. So thanks for the first look at them!
I wasn’t sure that swatching 40 colours on the black would have said that much extra, so I didn’t…. I really like these pens, so much so that I’ve got a second set with my own money!
That is very good value! I usually only use black, white, gold and silver. I wonder if you can just buy packs of those? Thank you Liz. Ohuhuhahahehehoho! 😂😂😂
I’m happy to if you email me. it’s a small company which sent them to me and i felt that they would need a right of reply if I slagged them off and damaged their business
Loved your bookmark video! Bought and received everything I need, right down to the tassels! TYSM for a wonderful gift idea!
Yay! Thank you!
I ❤️ the idea of monochromatic watercolor. Haven’t tried, but now I will!
It's so good!

@@LizChadertonArt It's wonderfully silly! 😅
Also, I’d be interested in hearing about their longevity.
I’ll try to report back on how they last
@@LizChadertonArt Thanks! 😁
Actually. You should divulge the acrylic markers you think are garbage bc this will help others. ❤
