Hi,
thank you for the video! What is your operating system? My computer detects the keyboard but doesn't seem to be able to make it work :(
Greeting Paul! I am using Windows 10 and Ableton Live 10. Has the MIDI ever worked with another computer?
It has yes. I bought it from someone who used a macbook. I have FL studio on windows 10, but my computer doesn't seem to register the keyboard as something else than an "usb audio device"
This may not be your problem but it was mine. It was a poor fitting USB connector and socket. When it made a good connection: no message, bad connection=message. Something like 'The last USB device connected failed or malfunctioned.'
If I connected the USB cable slowly, where LEDs came on, everything was good. If I pushed the connector all the way=error message. Try that.
My piano lights are on but it's not making any noise what should I do?
Greetings! What Digital Audio Workstation are you using?
@@cipstechitips1574 Wavepad
I believe WavePad is an audio recording program. You need a DAW like Ableton Live, Cubase, FL Studio. Many have trial versions. Use your search engine Google, Yahoo...
@@cipstechitips1574 that would explain why 🥲 thank you!
With the online midi synths/keyboards, when I play the KeyStudio, the keys light up with no sound. If I press any key on the on-screen keyboard with a mouse, it makes a sound and from then on, pressing keys on the KeyStation also produce a sound.
Maybe this is the same with some PC apps
Hi, I have M - AUDIO KEYSTATION 49 and its stop working. Only octave + button works and its orange. Can you help me please ? What to do ? Yesterday it works but today.......:(
Greeting Alexis! It is difficult know what is wrong: check all your cables and connections. Also, check your channel.
I have a problem. The M-Audio 49e works on the USB port normally, but the Midi out goes crazy, all the keys keep playing all the time. Can you help please. Greetings.
Do you have a sustain pedal attached?
@@cipstechitips1574 I don't have a pedal. I tried to connect the Midi master to another keyboard (Korg pa1x) via MIDI IN-OUT, and then it doesn't happen, but sometimes a note just stays playing even after I release the key.
They don’t have this version anymore
Greetings Anastasiia! Yes, this is an old model. They still work and many user still use them. Many are sold used, cheers.
Does it work on iPad?
Greetings, I have not done this with an iPad. I did do this with a Kindle Fire HD using a OTG USB adapter and a powered USB hub. I can only say it "should" work with an iPad with the proper cable and adapter. How "well" it works is questionable.
I hope anyone can help me on my problem my m audio keystation 49e can't seem to play loud when I set the volume max on the DAW it keeps coming back on the middle. I hope you're getting my point.
Greetings HopeWrld! If I recall correctly this MIDI has velocity sensitive keys. But the keyboard has only one velocity curve. To play loader you must press the keys faster with a quick snap motion and hold for the length of the note. You must press quickly not so much harder.
There are many volume controls in the PC and DAW: overall volume, track volume, the instrument may have a effects volume attribute. There may be others. Try other instruments. Cheers.
@@cipstechitips1574 Thanks for the response man. I’ll give it a try
does it require drivers?
Greetings! My M-Audio MIDI is USB compliant and does not require special drivers, cheers.
What is octave buttons do
Greetings MrCloud97! The Octave buttons shift the entire keybed higher or lower: see video at 4:15. Most MIDI's have less than 88 keys. This allows you to access keys that would normally be off to the left or right of your physical keyboard, cheers
can this midi work in fl studio 12, win10 ??
Greetings Karaveljko! The KeyStudio is MIDI compliant and USB compliant. It should work with any Digital Audio Workstation. Some modern automatic features might not work. I use Windows 10 but do not use FL Studio, cheers.
@@cipstechitips1574 thank youx have a nice day.
@@karaveljko yes it works... i use it in fl 20
im planning to buy this exact keyboard used. im a complete piano beginner and dont have a pc. can i use it with FL studio mobile?
Greetings Clark! You might be able to do that. But the mobile device must be able to power the KeyStudio. You might needed a USB powered hub, cheers.
Is it worth to buy it?
Greeting! As a first MIDI it is a good for learning instrument. These MIDI controllers a considered very basic but a bit old. They are still in production but under a different brand. Used models are easy to find and cheap($14 to $79 USD). It will help you know what you want in your next, more expensive, MIDI controller, cheers.
Thanks buddy you're great 💗💗
Nice rewiew, thanks, have you ever try the "Icon Ikeyboard 3x"?, I think is really good in Price Quality ;)
Greetings Anderson! The Icon is an interesting MIDI. I will have to look for one, cheers.
But at you it doesnt sounds that ''click'' when you press a flap, while at others its sounds ! Why ?
Greeting James! I am not sure about your question. It looks translated. I think you are saying 'some keys do not play and some do play'. Which DAW? Which instrument are you using?
@@cipstechitips1574 no, its that sound or that "clink" when you press the flaps on the keyboard, if you understood what i wanted to say...
@@cipstechitips1574 And I use a Yamaha keyboard and Cubase or Bandlab, if you heard about it...
you did not show how to set it up to a computer
Greeting Andreph1719! After you connect your USB cable from your computer to your MIDI, go to 9:06 minutes in the video. This shows you how to use your KeyStudio with Ableton Live (DAW), cheers.
thank you
Greetings Jimmy! You're welcome. Thank you for your comment. It really helps the channel, cheers.
Thank you
Greetings, I hope you found the video helpful, cheers.
